I’ve dealt with mild to severe eczema on various parts of my body my whole life. I’ve probably been to 4 – 5 dermatologists on Long Island over the past decade, and I’m going to say say that Dr. Mariwalla did the best job of addressing my concerns.
The office was a bit crowded when I went, and if you’re coming with a child/​young teen, it seems friendly to that demographic as well. As another reviewer mentions, the office can be quite crowded.
A lot of things are digitized: the staff and PA’s record information on iPads (or another brand of tablet) rather than carrying around charts, from what I could tell.
Both the PA I saw and Dr. Mariwalla herself were very attentive: they went over the concerns i have with my condition and were speedy in helping me with the right medications. She was very concise in going over what order to use things in and what sort of household changes I can make to help lessen my flare ups.
I had a pretty good experience in my visit, and they were also nice enough to recommend a sooner-​than-​later follow-​up, which shows a degree of care, IMO. I’m about three days into treatment and I’m already seeing results, which is much more than I can say about other doctors I’ve seen.

I’ve never been driven to write a review on a Doctor’s office until now. This is the most unprofessional and rude office. The receptionists are fine– a little unfriendly and unclear but I wasn’t expecting much from them. Next, I didn’t even get to see the doctor during my visits here. I’ve only seen the PA, Nick. He is arrogant and clueless. He told me my case is minor which is not true because if it was so minor I wouldn’t be seeking medical help and then when he tried to prescribe me something he couldn’t remember the name of it and whipped out his iPhone out of his pocket to search it… he couldn’t find it and became aggravated and went to ask one of the nurses. I will never ever be back to this office and I would never recommend anyone to go there.
There are countless derm. offices who are better at what they do! I learned the hard way.
Don’t waste your time or money here.

I had my first visit with the staff and Dr’s at Mariwalla Dermatology, I met with Michelle, the PA. I thought she was extremely energetic and thorough. The staff was very professional and the wait was very short. I went in for a review of all skin issues that including vitaligo and a few moles that needed to be looked at. They are an up-​to-​date office technology wise. Adam met with me first and used an Ipad to critique any and all complaints and locations of moles and skin issues. The Dr. took a biopsy of the one on my back and said it would be ready for results in two weeks. I was extremely grateful for all of her advise Michelle had to give including what vitamins I should be taking as well. Hope you all have just as positive experience as I did!

I had skin cancer on my face, and Dr. Mariwalla removed it two weeks ago. I couldn’t be happier with the job she did. She’s personable, skilled, quick. Her assistants and the office personnel couldn’t have been nicer. My face is healing rapidly, and I doubt if anyone will notice the scar after a few months. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because of the volume of patients. The waiting room is always filled. At least twice, I’ve had to go up to the desk to make sure that I would soon be seen, and that sparks them to actually see me. So if you go, expect to be in the waiting room a long time. The time of your appointment means nothing – you will wait, and be served in the order that you arrived.
Despite that, I highly recommend Dr. Mariwalla.

This business inspired me to write my first-​ever review. Unfortunately, this review is an attempt to warn people away from this dermatologist.
I purchased two packages to visit Dr. Mariwalla off of GiltCity. There were no online reviews of her at the time – I purchased on the basis of her advertised credentials and the fact that her office was very close to my apartment.
I have tried calling 6 – 8 times to schedule one of my two packages. Out of all of those calls, I got one return call – a voicemessage promising to call backe. The callback never came.
The short of it is this person has ~$ 300 of mine, but is completely unreachable. It is hard for me to think of this doctor as anything more than a scam. At best she is completely unprofessional.
Luckily I purchased through GiltCity, so I expect they will refund my money. But still – a big, annoying waste of time.

I would give them no star at all but had to mark something.
They will never pick up the phone. I purchased $ 500 worth of certificate on Gilt City for glycolic peel and restylane over a month ago. I tried calling at least every other day and left messages numerous times. Never once answered the phone. The person who is responsible for scheduling an appointment, Ivelisse, will completely ignore you regardless of how many times you call or leave messages. First thing they need is a new receptionist.
