Specialties
We are a ground shuttle service that operates in Illinois and Indiana. We offer safe and friendly service to and from O’Hare Airport-Chicago and Purdue University, Lafayette/West Lafayette, Indiana. We also offer charter trip transportation for group events and private rides.
History
Established in 2004.
Owner Paul Davis’s experience and knowledge of O’Hare — the airline business, scheduling, and landside operations was extensive. He bought a van, enlisted the help of family members and convinced his father, Jim, to come out of retirement to help launch Express Air Coach. We start our round trip service from Purdue University in West Lafayette/Lafayette, Indiana to O’Hare Airport in Chicago. Express Air Coach launched an impressive web based automated reservation and dispatch system for customers to conveniently book and pay online for their reservation anytime/anywhere in the world with internet access. The requests from Express Air Coach customers for weekend trips to the Chicago suburbs precipitated a new Friday-Sunday service of taking passengers to Oakbrook Center for a quick trip back home for the weekend and/or shopping! Express Air Coach now offers private rides and charter services. The coaches and vans are perfect for large/small groups for day trips or multi-day events.
Meet the Business Owner
Paul D.
Business Owner
n 1994, Express Air Coach owner Paul Davis graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Aviation Administration. He moved to Chicago to work for United Airlines where much of his time was spent at O’Hare Airport. After 10 years in the airline business it didn’t take long for Paul to notice a great opportunity to get back to the Purdue campus and the community he loved. His vision was to fill a need for safe, reliable, and affordable transportation from Purdue to Chicago’s O’Hare Airport — a place he had grown to love.
