Nails Xp

I came in for a gel manicure once before and it was done decently so I decided to come back. It seemed alright the second time but much thinner than usual. I didn’t think anything of it but after three days, the nails on my thumb, index, and middle finger all started to crack at the outer edges and then another three days after that, it started to peel off with my nail. A week and a half in, my nail has torn badly on my thumb and my index finger and my nail underneath is extremely thin. I’ve never had a gel manicure crack and break so badly, damaging my nails. I will never return to this place.

This place is so dirty! Everything looks clean but as you sit there looking around, you start noticing things. I saw 3 people finish with pedicures & not once was the tub cleaned, they just wiped it with a cloth & no cleaner. They had NO idea how to take gel nail polish off. She tried to just peel it off without filing or soaking it until I said something. The tools she used did not look clean & it wasn’t out of a sealed pouch, it was already opened & when she was done she just placed it back in her drawer. She cut me multiple times & I consider myself very lucky I didn’t end up with an infection. To top it off, she was texting & made 2 phone calls throughout my manicure, at a couple points using both hands while I was just sitting there staring at her. Overall the maincure wasn’t that great between the bleeding cuticles, gel stuck to my fingers, the shape was vey different on each nails. I would rather spend double somewhere else than ever go back here, I warn everyone I can about this place!

They are OKAY there. I have never once left there and been 100% happy with my nails. It’s always something minor but enough to bother me. There will be a fuzz or one nail will be crooked or not the right shape. When I can’t get an appointment at my normal salon and I really need my nails done I go over to nails xp.
On a positive note they are cheap and always get you in and out quick!

I have come here consistently now to get my nails done. My gels lasted 3 WEEKS! barely ANY chipping. If I didn’t take them off myself I bet they would’ve lasted a month. For $ 25 it literally can’t get any better.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! DO NOT GO HERE! This nail salon does not know how to take of a gel manicure the proper way. They took the electric file and filed the nail polish and then had me sit with my fingers in a bowl of acetone. This woman tried 3 TIMES to try to get off the gel manicure. For anyone who doesn’t know how a gel manicure works, you are supposed to wrap each individual finger in foil with nail polish remover, adding a heated towel helps. Either way, she eventually gave up and took the electric file and shaved the rest of the nail polish and then proceeded to use the electric file on my NATURAL nails! I could feel the burning on my nail from the electric file. Anyway, she cut my cuticles, another terrible job and then applied the polish. I left and found then I can BEND my nails. They are so weak and thin now because she took the electric file to them. I am extremely disappointed because I have been trying to grow my nails out for a while and they were at a very nice length and very strong. Because of this nail salon’s mistake, my nails have broken and I have had to clip them short again and start over. For once in my life, I wanted to go back and ask for my money back. Never going back here again and I suggest you do the same. Extremely upset and disappointed.
