Dr Kimura is amazing!!! He goes above and beyond for all his clients. He has been my only dentist since I was 8 years old and has the utmost integrity, passion and kindness. He will work with you to meet your needs and will stop at nothing to ensure you are fully satisfied with his work. He is an artist and the best dentist you will ever find, especially in Los Angeles where honesty is an aberration. Cheers to you, Dr Kimura!

After getting two crowns replaced by a horrible dentist in Studio City, I was dealing with an inevitable extraction/​implant on one tooth and a crown replacement on the other. I have been in absolute hell for the past year and was trying to find someone to help me restore my dental health. Dr. Kimura came highly recommended by three different people and I can completely understand why. Not only is the office itself clean and inviting, all of the employees are super friendly and accommodating. He took all the time in the world to talk to me and explain my options, and is working with me to find the most affordable solution for these on-​going problems. For once I feel like I’m not being viewed as a cash machine. I cannot say enough good things about him and his amazing staff! And I can honestly say I no longer dread going to the dentist.

Dr. Kimura and his staff are by far the best and nicest folks in the dental industry. Perhaps on the planet! Los Angeles is filled with people trying to upsell you and drill a million holes in your mouth or talk to you about your teeth’s feelings or read your fortune while cleaning your grill. Scam artists run rampant in this city. Dr. Kimura keeps it real, honest and straight to the point. He is just a nice guy who is doing the best work out there. Just amazing. Standing ovation!

I had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. Kimura back in 2006 when I called 1−800-DENTIST from the airport in Hawaii. I was flying home with terrible mouth pain and needed to see a dentist immediately! The next morning, I went to Dr. Kimura’s office and was warmly greeted by the office staff and brought in promptly at the start of my appointment. Although it had been years since my last dentist’s appointment, I was never made to feel bad or like it was my fault that I had to have a root canal. In fact, I’ll never forget when Ava very sweetly used the bib tied around my neck to dab the tears I was crying!
My husband and I have been faithful customers since then and have referred Dr. Kimura to my sister, two cousins and countless friends.
One of the things I love the most about going to Dr. Kimura is that he and his staff run exactly on time. I have never had to wait for my appointment; I’m always taken in just a few minutes before or at the start time. Appointments always last the amount of time they’re supposed to. And in the rare instances when they went longer, someone would go down and feed my meter (if necessary).
Dr. Kimura is warm, kind and a skilled dentist. And everyone at his office is super helpful and friendly.
For someone who used to dread going to the dentist, I now look forward to my check-​ups! I highly recommend Dr. Kimura. You won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Kimura, and staff, are incredible. I’ve been a patient for nearly fourteen years, and no matter where I’ve lived in Los Angeles, even now down in Long Beach, I make the trek up to Brentwood for my appointments. His staff is very strict on keeping to the appointment times and you will not be in the waiting room long. You really feel like the entire staff values you as a patient and works hard to make each and every visit a pleasant experience.
I have and will continue to send all of my friends and coworkers his way. If you’re looking for a great, caring Dentist who will value your time and keep your mouth happy, then look no further. Dr. Kimura and all of his staff are fantastic.

I used to have one dentist that I always used to go to in Northern California, and when I came to Los Angeles it was hard to find an honest dentist. I had some really bad experiences up until I met Dr. Kimura. He is honest and thorough. His staff is friendly and always returns my calls. His prices are affordable and his work is exceptional. I recommend him to all my friends and family.

I had my first experience with Dr. Kimura right before Christmas. My doctor of 40 years couldn’t see me and screwed up my 6 month visit so on the recommendation of many co-​workers I called Dr. Kimura’s office who went out of their way to get me an appointment. He was gentle and did a fabulous teeth cleaning and his assistant did the polishing. It was the most pleasant experience at a dentist I have ever had. His staff is wonderful and he is too. I would nt hesitate for a moment to recommend him
I had a 7:30 am appointment and after filling out the nomal papers, I was seen right on time.

A tranquil and pleasant experience for the whole family. We wanted to find a place that was ethical (not on the take) with up to date technology that the entire family could visit. This place is definitely a «one stop shop» filled with a whole lot of love and graciousness. Uh, surprising in LA?! No, it is possible. There special touch has my daughter asking to go back to the dentist every month. They did an excellent job with my 3yo’s and 1 yo’s 1^st visit several months back with books, toys and tv for entertainment (even in the exam rooms). Somehow having all this didn’t make waiting area overly «disneylandish» while still appealing to the adult sensibilities of professionalism. Dr. Kimura is a gentle spirit with a whole lot of experience and an eye for aesthetics that will have you leaving his office with a better looking smile than what you came in with, with a lot more money left in your pocket. I love Dr. Kimura. He is the best dentist ever! Super nice and very professional. I have been going to him since 1991 and now I trust all my kids dental needs to him. I highly recommend him, you won’t be disappointed!

Who reads dentist reviews unless your looking for a dentist? Well, if you’re looking for a great dentist, come here. I’ve been coming here for 11 years, since ’02. Dude is good. Super friendly, and cleanings are quick. Meter outside is only good for an hour, but it’s plenty of time. I highly recommend Dr. Kimura!
Just my advice, but if you brush your teeth everyday and floss once in a while, your visits will be quick, and you might even keep your friends. I know flossing sucks, but if you don’t floss after eating corn, you’re just gross.

I’ve been going to Kimura since I was a kid. He makes going to a dentist painless, easy, and affordable. He is always on time with his appointments, and he is efficient and fast. Usually he can get his cleaning done in 15 – 20 minutes, then his aide does the polishing, and you’re out in 30. At around $ 105 a cleaning, it’s very reasonable. He’s also experienced and knows what’s going on. Maybe Kimura doesn’t have the best bedside manner but he gets things done without a fuss or hidden cost. So that’s all I’m looking for.
Side note: The receptionist can get annoying about keeping an appointment — almost makes me wanna dock a star but I’m reviewing Kimura’s work not the receptionist. But still, a reminder to confirm your appointment AT OTHER OFFICES is generally ONE courtesy call and a message left, not 50 calls until you finally pick up (meaning, when they confirm your appointment, they’ll call till they get your voice!).

I was procrastinating about dental work and searched for a new dentist. I found Dr. Kimura and have NEVER been so satisfied. First of all, he is non assuming and not arrogant, and never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable about the amount of repairs I needed. Within one month, I received exceptional treatment, and a completely new smile. He did not try and ‘sell’ me extra work, just what I needed to be happy and healthy. The girls in his office are professional, experienced and equally as accommodating as he is.
Overall, I am 100% pleased and will be a customer for life.

Dr. Kimura is a talented, kind, thorough dentist we’ve been seeing for years. He and his staff are all very good and patient. Teeth whitening, oral surgery, fillings, you name it. All done with care and precision. Our entire family is happy with Dr. Kimura… even our little one began sitting in the chair on my lap at age 3, got checked and interacted with the big jaw of teeth and brush. The big chest of toys at the end with a chance to choose one is a big draw too! Highly recommend! I have sent several friends to him and all have been just as happy as we are.

I first met Dr. Kimura about ten years ago through a co-​worker of mine when I was working in Century City. I had a severe toothache and had to see someone quickly. I made the appointment and after a few others my tooth was fixed and the rest of my teeth starting to get in shape. Dr. Kimura coached me on the caring of my teeth in a way that not condesending, but made me feel like he really cared. Well, that was ten years ago and since then he has taken care of my wife, daughter, and I with all of our needs. His staff is very friendly and helpful, and also very punctual. If you have a 3:00 pm appointment you will be seeing him at 3:00 pm. He is also open on Saturday which was great for my wife and daughter. I did mention I started going to him when I worked in Centruy City, well I am in Encino now and live in Torrance, but will not even think about going to someone else. We are very grateful for Dr. Kimura and his staff and highly reccomend him if you are looking for a Dentist.

I’ve been going to Dr. Kimura for years, I think since 1999. 1−800-Dentist first referred me to him bc I called for an emergency toothache. Turns out a few of my co-​workers at Enterprise Rent A Car were already going to Dr. Kimura. This is the only «doctor’s office» –like place where they actually honor your appt time in a punctual manner. If your appt is at 11am, you will be in at 11am or 11:05 at the latest. So you should ask them how long your appointment will take and they tell you so you can park on the metered parking without freaking out you’ll get a ticket. The staff are all very nice and professional and they do confirm your appt the day or so before so you can tell they run an efficient business. Being a Type A personality, I sure do appreciate it. And, they always give you a toothbrush and toothpaste kit when you leave. I moved away from LA and moved back and sought our Dr. Kimura again. Thanks for the good service and clean office. Even the restrooms are clean :) Almost forgot, and I’ve referred two people to them as well. They used to give you a book of stamps for thinking of them which was nice :)

I’ve had the pleasure the past thirty (30) years with what I feel is the greatest dentist and staff I’ve ever met. Most people dread the thought of seeing their dentist but those same people have never been to Dr. Kimura office. He is gentle, sincere and yet determined to make your dental experience as comprehensive and painless as possible. Without exception, he has taken me when I’ve had a crown come loose or a tooth ache even with his busy schedule and patient backlog. The thing I like and appreciate the most about Dr. Kimura is when he comes in at 6:00a.m. on a Saturday morning to work on my teeth, giving up his personal time to help take care of me. How many people, let alone your dentist would do that for you?
When I’m in the «chair» my worries are completely gone, I’m relaxed and trust my life in his professional hands knowing the job will be done right the first time, all the time. Kudos’s to this great person/​dentist and his loyal and friendly staff. He takes care of all our dental needs, my family, friends and co-​workers all feel the same about what the good doctor brings to this very difficult business.

Dr. Kimura is a very nice guy, I had two of my wisdom teeth taken out by him and it was easy! His staff is nice as well and his office has a very nice view. I would def recommend him :)

My nephew Nick — hates dentists — in fact he would throw up or be so scared that he would not go to a dentist at all for years. And because he wouldn’t go to a Dentist for over 20 years — he has teeth with cavities… now, a normal person would at least get teeth cleaning done or at least have someone look at his decaying teeth. But not my nephew, he decides to drink more Cola Cola.
Now, after all these years, finally his tooth is abscessing into a big pain in his jaw. So he had to go see a Dentist. This time, we did not have to beg him since he was in such pain, he beg his grandma (my mother) to find him a good dentist.
He went to Dr Kimura and got his teeth removed — in fact, it was so fast that he asked the dentist when was he going to take out his teeth — and it was already out. Can you believe that! Nicky didn’t know that Dr Kimura had already taken his tooth out. And this is a young man who hates Dentists because of all the pain they take to take his teeth out.
I personally have not gone to Dr Kimura so I can’t say. This is my nephew’s experience and he says that his experience was truly the best.

Dr. Kimura and his staff are WONDERFUL! They are very helpful when booking appointments and looking up insurance information. The office is very nice, good music, a television for when you are in the chair and a great window view. Dr. Kimura is very gentle and the only dentist I have ever visited without feeling pain or fear of coming back! He is truly the best dentist around. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Dr. Kimura is great. One thing I really like about his practice is that you are always seen ON TIME. If you have an appointment scheduled for 11:30 am, you will be seen at 11:30 am. He’s soft-​spoken and meticulous. He and his hygienists are kind of obsessed with flossing. Don’t tell him you’ve been flossing on a regular basis if you haven’t — he’ll know!
