Fancy Fish Restaurant

Long time resident of the West New York area and my first time visiting this location. My honey had the craving for fresh fish so we of course Unilocal’d and found this spot.
Very impressed that it didn’t smell like a fish spot since that’s very unattractive to me. The staff was very friendly & spoke English since my Spanish needs work lol. The fish was handled well and to my satisfaction and this woman I spoke with was a frequent customer and gave rave reviews.
I would recommend this spot if you’re looking for a small variety of fish well prepared. The sides are pretty standard from my perspective rice, salad and I believe fries. My only critique is the fish is fried while it was wet the crisp isn’t hard very soft. Regardless it was well prepared. I would visit again.

The food is very easy to make so I really don’t think there is a need for an attitude. Today I came in and my fiancé wanted to get a really large tilapia fish and they didn’t have it, they only had regular size one, the salad is horrible. I usually get the fish sandwich which is four bucks, they pay music here generally mainstream Spanish music, this is not necessary, but wished they played more variety.

Not the fanciest of places, not fancy at all. But it is THEE place to get fresh fried fish. Especially on good Friday. It’s locally known and favored. Everything is fried… fish, shrimp, fries, salmon, filet. They also have vegetable rice, salad and some desserts. Ceviche too, but runs out fast. I believe their motto is something like, in the sea last night, on your plate today. There is a line out the door on Good Friday.

You pick the fresh fish near the front and they fry it in front of you. I’ve discovered this place by accident and the food was really nice and fresh. It is one of those places you goto if you just need good food at a cheap price. It is Not one of those other pretentious restaurants with fancy décor but no real substance. Highly recommend.
