Gordon’s Autobody

I brought my brand new Honda Odyssey into Gordon’s Auto Body with extensive damage to the rear end. Seeing as this was a new van I was pretty upset. But I quickly learned I was in good hands at Gordon’s. They walked me through the repair and made sure everything was top notch! I am so happy with the final outcome. I highly recommend this place.

claim was about 2000, but reduced to 1300 because of preexisting damage. They suggested changes to the claim (not repairing small preexisting dents) which were on the claim, which matched my interests and saved me $ 300 out of pocket. fast, reasonable. have used them twice.

My car was rare ended so the insurance company sent me to these guys, because they are part of their repair network. These guys are pretty quick and did a pretty good job on repairing the problem. I was told that my car is ready for pickup 2 days after dropping it off. In fact, they even vacuumed my car.
Now, you are going to ask. Why not a FIVE stars?
Here is why. I picked up the car and didn’t open up my trunk until arriving to work that morning. What I discovered in the trunk was a mess. There were broken pastic pieces everywhere, and covered with dust. My stuffs were all over the place (I have organized them in boxes before dropping my car off). And get these, the mat in the trunk was soaking wet! There was about 2 inch of water in my back-​up tire area, with visible mold!
Here is more, the hood of my car was pretty old, and they poked a big hole on it (2 inch diameter). When I asked them, they told me that it is old, but they can put a new hood on there, which will not cover by the insurance. I mean, really guys?

If you’re looking to get quality autobody work done to your car, I would highly recommend that you run in the opposite direction.
After having my car hit in the employee parking lot by my boss, he chose to send my car here rather than go through insurance. Red flags should have popped up when he told me that he should know their number by heart since he uses them so much. But then again, he drives a Benz and is very particular with his car, so if he trusted them to do work on his car, then it shouldn’t be a problem for me.
Well, first things first, I brought my car to them to get an estimate. They seemed nice enough and had plenty of cards on the walls thanking them for jobs well done from previous customers. (In hindsight, I think they just jacked the cards from another autobody and changed the names.) They didn’t call when they said they would to schedule me to bring my car in for repair. No big deal. They seemed busy and I understand some places can’t call back the same day. So I called them the next day to check in as well as to mention that I noticed they didn’t put the cracked hubcap on the estimate. «We can’t do that with Mr. X’s permission since he is the one paying for the repairs.» I told them it wasn’t a problem and I would bring it up with my boss. After a discussion with my boss regarding the matter, he said he would tell them to add the hubcap to the estimate and to have it repaired at the same time as my car.
I brought my car in and was told they would call me when it was ready. Unfortunately, I was out of work that week with pneumonia so I waited by my phone (since I had nothing better to do) for that call telling me my car was ready. Finally, I got the call. From my boss. No matter how many times I was told they would contact me directly (since it was my car and not my bosses, no?) they apparently kept misplacing my number. Odd. When I picked up my car, the hubcap was still un-​replaced. When I brought it up to them, there was NO NOTE on the estimate that myself or my boss had spoken to them about replacing it. No one in their office seemed to know what I was talking about. I brought the issue up with my boss and when he called them to inquire, apparently, they told my boss that there was NO WAY he could’ve caused the damage, despite placement being in the exact area where my car had been hit and damaged. Not only that, the repair was sub-​par and the paint job… I have little raised specks on my fender which they «banged out» and looks like they didn’t make sure the surface was clean before they painted. It’s like they painted over dust.
Now I am really feeling like an asshole because I keep going to my boss with complaints over the place HE chose, but I strongly believe my car should’ve been returned to me in the same shape it was before my car was hit. Gordon’s didn’t even come close. Not only that, but they got the go-​ahead once again by my boss to order a hubcap. This was a few days after they finished the original job. They needed me to submit all my vehicle information to them again. Isn’t that why places keep information on file? And they were directed to call me when the hubcap came in so I could go to the shop and have them replace it as well as have them look at their paint job. It’s been almost 3 months and I’m still waiting for their call…

brought my car there a few years ago. The job
was paid via car insurance. Car was damaged in front passenger quarter and required fender, headlight assembly, bumper, and paint. Paint job was sloppy and poor quality. They did not even prime the inside of the bumper. Fast job to get their fast money.

This place was great. They were friendly and where able to correct the poor quality job the pervious body shop did.
I would recommend them to anyone considering a higher-​end quality shop.
