H&A Complete Auto Repair

I’ve recently moved to the neighborhood, and didn’t know where to go. My mistake was taking it to the Firestone on W Germantown Pike. Their mistake was telling me that they couldn’t fix my rattling noise and charge me for something I obviously didn’t need. So, my search for a trustworthy mechanic started.
I came across H&A on Google reviews, and was surprised to see nothing but great reviews from very happy people. I’m sure a lot of you are aware there are fake reviews, but this shop is the exception.
I was greeted by many pleasant people; technicians and customers alike. Peter did a great job making his customers feel as if we were more than regular customers; we were friends in his house. It has a comfortable waiting area so you don’t mind the wait.
Well, my car’s problem wasn’t as transparent as I thought it might be. I had to come another day and leave it. Peter was great to offer a rental without me asking. Nothing special; just something that will get me to work and back. I was happy with anything.
My car’s issue turned out to be a broken strut. I thank Peter and his mechanics for staying persistent and tackling my issue. My little VW is back to the way it should be. I have finally found a repair shop that I whole heartedly trust, definitely recommend, and will always return to for anything and everything with my car.

I’ve been coming to Pete and his quality crew for around 8 years. At the time my wife had a problematic VW Passat and we had to have it towed at one point. As fate would have it, it was towed to H&A and I’ve been a customer ever since. From that first meeting to now, I have received nothing but exemplary and speedy service from H&A. I’ve been to a lot of mechanics and shops over the years, and I would have to say that H&A is at the top of my list for honesty, integrity and wonderful customer service.

I have to tell you, these guys are great! My daughter bought a 2004 Subaru Forester at a local used car lot and we immediately noticed the temp gauge moving into the red and the engine surged in park. We took the back to the dealer and to their credit, they checked it out twice and couldn’t find the issue. A second set of eyes at H and A did the trick. They found out the radiator was clogged and the O2 sensor was bad. And get this, H and A called the dealer and the car dealer paid for all the repairs and diagnosis time. Pete’s a great guy and a great mechanic! I’ve never seen a busier shop! No seriously. Cars in, cars out… It’s amazing. He’s done a bunch of work for me over the years. From oil changes and maintenance to engine problems (oy!). I know alot about cars and I keep close tabs on my car fixers, he has never lied and has done what he said he would at a very reasonable price. Wish he had a bigger shop with a less treacherous parking lot though.

I’m disappointed in myself for not writing a review earlier. I moved into the area 10 years ago and found Peter when I went searching for a locally owned mechanic. I consistently receive quality service and while there are no frills here the garage is nice and Peter is super friendly. He also only does repairs you need and because he oversees all the repairs you can leave knowing it was done correctly and you won’t keep coming back. I’m not a fan of dealership garages because some, not all, don’t put the time and care into dealing with your car and sometimes they make sloppy mistakes that cost you money. Peter is a good guy and if you need a local mechanic that will repair your car at a reasonable price point stop in, you won’t be disappointed!

I’m a VIP customer at H&A. If you go there, you will be too! I have been a customer at H&A since the beginning. I guess this is the 5^th car they have totally taken care of for me. I’m done with dealerships! It’s H&A for me. They are honest, trustworthy, and you won’t find better customer service anywhere! And, they stand behind their work! I’ve recommended them to my friends and family and they are all still current clients at H&A! I’m never stranded — I have H&A right there for me! If you want reasonable pricing, good workmanship and superior customer service — go to H&A!

I chose this shop because it was local and the reviews on Google were excellent. My inspection was due and I was given an appointment immediately. My car had some issues that I was aware of, and the estimate given was what I had anticipated for the needed repairs and services. What made the experience exceptional though was the customer service… things I have learned not to expect after so many years of dealing with auto shops were common practice here. The place is clean, they are friendly, they will give you a ride to/​from, they explain clearly what is necessary and why, and they follow up to be sure you are happy and everything is working properly. I couldn’t be happier, wish I had found them sooner!
