The sunny walls welcome all comers as the reggae music gently sings wafts in the background. Customers are transported to sandy shores where the deep favors find their roots in exotic spices. Many authentic West Indian favorites like jerk chicken, rice and peas and steamed whole fish grace the menu and are prepared fresh daily.

Tropical beverages are specialties at this Caribbean oasis and on any given day you can find homemade carrot drink, sorrel and the most exotic tropical punch to ever pass your lips.

Take out is the most popular option but if you’d like to «stay a lickle while mon» the friendly staff will be more than happy to set your meal down at one of the eat-​in tables where you can enjoy the many favorites from the Jamaican influenced menu.

There’s even dessert! Enjoy sweet potato pudding, black rum cake or one of the daily specialties prepared on site. You can even place large catering orders for family or company get togethers.

West Indian food in West Orange? OH YES! The chef/​owner brings home cooking to the masses. Each specialty is prepared fresh daily. You’ll think that you’re in Jamaica when you taste our Jerk Chicken, Curry Chicken, Oxtails, Curried Goat and more. Meals are served with your choice of plain rice or «rice & peas,» vegetables and fried plantains.

On Saturdays enjoy authentic Jamaican breakfast dishes like callaloo, mackerel, boiled bananas yam and dumplings and of course ackee & saltfish the national dish of Jamaica.
