Sears Outlet

I have never shopped at this location before i always wound up at the competitor or the lifeless mall stores but I won’t go anywhere else anymore. I was interested in a stainless steel fridge and Dave greeted me when I entered the store and listened to what I needed within my budget. I was so thrilled that I was able to get the fridge delivered that week but the added bonus was Dave turned out to be the store manager. I couldn’t believe he took the time to provide such excellent customer service. What a refreshing experience!

Horrible! Don’t know where to begin. They lied about the refrigerator we were looking at telling us that it was a floor model and never used only to find out that it was used. The previously owner had left the receipt in the owners manual in the refridgerator. When we were cleaning the inside we noticed food crumbs under the drawers. When we questioned Sears about it we got the runaround telling us that there was nothing they would do about it. We asked why they were charging us for a floor model instead of a used refridgerator was told that they said they would not help us. I’m sorry but that’s deceptive practice. I’ve bought sears products for years and only just heard about the outlet recently. Don’t trust them! We were lied to and won’t go back again.

Sears had great costumer service! Johnny, the manager, helped us to resolve a problem immediately. Everyone was so extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Thanks Sears!

I placed 2 orders online for 2 items that were labeled as «New In Box» when the shipment came the items were in boxes that were broken or the boxes were missing all together. I called customer service and I was told that they would not refund my shipping worse they wanted me to pay to have the broken items shipped back to Searsoutlet even though their website clearly states that returns can be made at any store and that returns are hassle free. This return has been anything but hassle free.

They don’t even deserve a star! I made an order on their website to pick up in store. I am not sure where the ball was dropped. I received an email stating my order was delayed. After attempting to call the store several times to find out what’s going on with my order (which is always busy or no one answers) I was told my order was voided. Yet, they still have my money. My biggest disappointment is with their customer service. They don’t seem to have all their system connected to the store as a result their poor communication. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back and still no stove! Never doing business with them and telling everyone I know to stay away.

I don’t know how to express my gratittude for Jay, the store manager at the Sear’s Outlet Center in West Orange, NJ. He saved my family’s Passover Holiday. He worked so hard to insure that our new 40″ dual gas/​electric range Frigidaire Stove was delivered and installed in time to cook and welcome many guests, within four days. We did not know, initially, that we lacked a proper gas valve shut off at our house. He explained everything and when things went wrong with planning installation, he gave me his cell phone number on his day off and promised to work with us until it was right. Coordinating with the work that our electrician and plumber needed to do, the stove was delivered and installed in time for us to create a beautiful holiday. I had actually cried, then prayed and Jay was the answer to those prayers. He saved our ability to have a beautiful holiday.

I have only had bad experiences with Sears Outlet online and the Sears Outlet in West Orange NJ.
I tried to buy a refrigerator online and the online system always cancelled my order after I submitted my order several times. I called Sears Outlet West Orange and they said that they will honor the online price, however when I arrived to the store the manager made me wait one hour and then he said that he did not honor the online price. I decided to buy the refrigerator anyway.
The delivery company failed to deliver the first time that they were supposed to deliver. The second time they came four hours late, and when they installed the refrigerator, it did not work. Sears said that I should go back to the store and submit a new order.
I cancelled the order after wasting a significant amount of my time. Nobody neither apologized nor proposed a solution.
If you value your time, and you are looking for good quality products, I suggest that you keep yourself away from Sears,
and especially Sears Outlet West Orange, NJ.
