I thought I was buying new equipment, but apparently not. The cell card would not work and when it was returned they told me it was an older part and could not be refunded. 3 of 10 contacts do not work, they programmed in okay, but can show open at any time for no reason. It takes a week to get a phone appointment.

Look at the attitude on the response from Geo Arm, claiming I am using false names.
I guess he must feel like all the one stars reviews are fakes. Great Job

I just contacted GEOARM to investigate switching over to their service. I found their representative to be extremely helpful and was just about ready to switch, so I figured I’d poke around in the reviews online. Predictably, they were mixed which is to be expected with any company that’s been in business long enough with a substantial number of customers. But then I encountered something astonishing. This customer who reported a service failure received a response from someone claiming to represent the company:
This person, who identified as Joe R., the owner, told the customer that he would investigate the reported failure and if he determined that the report is inaccurate, he might initiate a lawsuit for libel. He made a point of detailing how he would track down the customer through Unilocal via IP. Well, that’s his privilege; he can operate and promote his business this way if he pleases. But I won’t be a customer.
Is it just me?

Found GEOARM while searching online for a IP Communicator for my DSC 1832 alarm. End up finding one of their Youtube videos and did a search for their website. I found their website very helpful and the online chat helped me find the correct part I needed. I end up purchasiing a DCS TL-​260R to install myself and called back to set up monitoring service once I had it installed. Used the online scheduling for tech support call to walk me through programming my new communicator. Tech called on time and walked me through all steps to activate monitoring. Site also offers a form to fill out to get alarm monitoring certificate for my insurance company to save money. Also to my surprise I just received in the mail GEOARM alarm stickers and a yard sign. Thank you for your great customer service and helpful website. Look forward to doing business again.

Worst monitoring company we’ve ever had. Worst customer service EVER! They seem like a fly-​by-​night, unprofessional group of former alarm technicians. They screwed up on a test signal and sent the police storming our house. We were with them a year and we had to move to a more solid monitoring company. We’ve been with livewatch ever since and no problems whatsoever.
***Now being threatened by the owner for libel because he doesn’t understand that Unilocal is protected under freedom of speech and true and verifiable statements are not considered libel.
We were a customer. We were let down. They did screw up and badly with us. I wouldn’t recommend anyone use this security monitoring reseller for anything. They were unprofessional, incompetent and unreliable.

Business must be booming at Geoarm when you can disregard interested customers ready to give over a credit card. After looking at ADT and Frontpoint, I decided I could do a DIY alarm system much cheaper. After doing my research online I discovered Geoarm. I was able to find the equipment slightly cheaper online elsewhere. But since I wanted to use the
monitoring sold through Geoarm, and they offered a price match guarantee, I challenged them to beat the competitors price. I got a call back from Cole saying they could meet the price. I called back with my credit card to make the purchase for the hardware as well as get the monitoring setup. After recieving no call back, I even tried one more time. I called and left a second message with Kevin and said I’m trying to place an order and that Cole should return my call. Again, no return call. Pretty amazing that things are going so well that it’s not worth a call back for an interested customer!
At this point, i’ll take my business elsewhere. If the company won’t call me back now, I can only imagine once they have you in as a customer…

geoarm is a good value. lots of choices, great customer service.

I bought a house that had an outdated alarm panel in it. Cole and Drew at GeoArm were extremely helpful in helping me select the best upgrades and get the system installed, and tested. Their prices are about the best and it was good to have their support in the process. The best part is that they really are patient and interested in making sure your components will work together without having to spend unnecessarily. I have called a few times and gotten in touch with someone either right away or within a few minutes. Certainly the monthly monitoring price cannot be beat! If you have a bit of do-​it-​yourself experience with these matters, there is no better way to go than GeoArm.

I have been using GEOARM for more than a year for my DIY installed alarm system. Be wary of the negative reviews here, if you are looking for full service (and full price) go with ADT or one of the big guys. However, if you are willing to get your hands dirty and enjoy learning and tinkering in order to also save ALOT of money, go with GEOARM. Once your system is up and running, you will get excellent service as with any other company — but you are not tied to a contract or financing a propitiatory alarm system.

Mr Blake R I will be more than happy to update my post. What you are stating is a straight up lie. I was told that since I was not a customer utilizing your monitoring services that I could not be sold to. As far a cheap, LOL your company did me a huge favor in the end because I found the item I was ordering cheaper on another site. You may want to rethink your approaches to customer service and business. Customers will not stand up for this kind of so called service.

Ordered an alarm 6 weeks ago and still do not have an operating system. Defective product — Read their return policy before purchasing. You buy, you are stuck. Their tech «department» always goes to voicemail. The customer service rep was rude. The pricing was higher than other companies; however I thought that I would gain service by paying more. Over $ 700 and still sitting here waiting for something to happen. TERRIBLE service and extremely frustrating experience. Go somewhere else.
