I feel like they found the wait staff from the same aisle they got their food at Publix. Been here 3 times and every time it’s been sub-par.

I’ve visited Island Jacks three times now. The food is pretty good and the service is OK. It usually has an upbeat atmosphere. My most current visit was on a Thursday night for the prime rib. I was a little disappointed because the prime rib was overcooked the green beens were undercooked and the baked potato was not even hot. I always enjoy the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer.

Food was adequate, energy was all good(band playing) Bartenders were cool. Customers/crowd just seemed a bit shady here.

Ordered smoked fish dip for appetizer. Seafarer Seafood New Orleans and a grilled mahi sandwich with a side salad. Food was excellent. service was excellent. Only complaint was plastic wrap in my salad. Side salad needs a little work. Fish was excellent, blackened shrimp was excellent. Smoked fish dip was excellent and well-proportioned. Actually, all the food had nice proportions. Nice atmosphere. Came on Sunday afternoon. Will come back again. Sorry I’ve lived here for so long and never stopped in!

Not having frequently gone here since 2013, we decided to return to IJ. The place is still lively for Mon dinner tho not overly crowded. We had the Nite’s special, a full rack of ribs for $ 11.99. They were excellent and a great value(normally $ 17.99.) The barmaids were very friendly and so was our server, though I thought she was a tad slow considering it was not that crowded. There were many selections on the menu which peaked my appetite but settled on the value meal, There wasn’t much craft bier to choose from, the old stand-bys don’t do anything for my taste buds. The age group was 40’s to 70’s w/a family atmosphere.

This place is terrific. You must go in with the open mind of «it is what it is.» The harleys scream in, people fall off barstools, and groups of all kinds get together and laugh, often getting loud and boisterous. With all of that said, the food is CONSISTENTLY great, the bartenders give a good pour, and the value of the food/price is evident. We love this place. Love this place. Again, you do not come here for filet: you come here for burgers, and smiles. Wonderful!!!

This place takes forever to serve your food! 45min approx. it appears you must ride a Harley or be part of that type of ambiance to enjoy this place. Bad looks if your not

The atmosphere, food and service are all top notch. I feel like one of the family every time I walk thru the doors. I think that the new general manager Michelle is an amazing asset!

I’m sorry, but this place is horrible. I’m actually surprise that they are still in business. The food is not all that great. I had their steak and my friend had tuna, but I was not amaze at all. I honestly think that chillis across the street serves way better knowing that chillis is an overrated place. I could honestly give this place a solid 3 stars, but the reason I’m giving it one, it’s because they double charge me for the food and I didn’t notice until the following day. When I called, the lady was aware of the transaction since I gave them my info and the waitress that was helping me out. She said that she’s going to try to resolve it and called me back, but they never did. I called the day after and the same scenario happen. After that, I just didn’t even bother. If you decide going just make sure they don’t double charge. Make sure to check your bank account ever 5 minutes or so

First time here. I like the concept but this place has seen better days. Management and owners would do well to put some money back into this place. This place really isn’t that clean. Graffiti in men’s room and broken mirrors reminds me of some skeevy dive club. Food was BEYOND greasy. Our waitress seemed like she was checked out on pills. I ordered the Mahi Fingers. She said. «The Dinner??» As if there was another option. So in response to her question I asked her if there were other options on the Mahi Fingers to which she replied«No»… *crickets*… Why did she even ask… Those Mahi fingers were SO greasy.

We came for our vacation to WPB and got here late. Thought we could get something to eat and this place seemed somewhat inviting/cool. I do love the place, its ambiance and decoration along with the bell above the bar outside(I haven’t been inside). Food: chicken wings are good, french fries have frozen-y taste, nacho extreme is bland. I mean I know what I was getting into but they could experience a little with it… Fried green tomatoes were a great idea but couldn’t quite put the dot on the i. Bland. Be brave and use spices, people! Coke was below rating, even for a soda machine one. It tasted like dishwater. I can easily see how this place might have once been The Place to hang out but with the TVs and whatnots it lost its originality. Then again, without«modernization» there may not be these many customers. It seems packed in there so something is definitely luring people in. Maybe the mermaids’ song… At least the waitress is kind and attentive despite the volume of people. My recommendation: only come here if this is your last resort or you’ll only plan to have wings and drink bottled soda/beer.

I can’t help but always think about how much this place sucks. Crappy ambiance, terrible food, and drinks priced higher than top downtown clubs… If not for Karaōke you wouldn’t catch me here

I always heard about this place and their Hot Body contest but this was the first time I was able to make it to Island Jack’s. My first impression was positive; the staff was attentive, my drink was strong(for the price) and it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. I only had the wings which were good. My main reason for going was the Hot Body contest. I went on July 22, 2015 and was extremely disappointed. The majority of the girls were not just overweight but obese. The most sickening part was that the fastest girl, I’m talking 5’5″ 225 lbs, won. I guess H.O.T. Body stands for«Huge, Overweight, Trashy Body». It appeared the staff knew everyone in the contest so I assume its always this nasty!

Great environment friendly staff. Wednesday night is bike night with a live band. The food was typical bar and grille food. Good seafoods. Fairly priced. Seems like a good local place to drink and eat.

This appears from the outside to be a rather seedy looking«fish-head/biker» bar and that keeps many prospective customers away. We first went when we purchased a dining cert on line and have been going ever since, much to the chagrin and amusement of our friends. The service is excellent(friendly attentive servers) and the food is very good. The«early bird» dinner is $ 10.99 and that includes a full entrée, soup or salad and a beverage and that beverage can be an alcoholic one. There is tremendous value given. Lunch specials are also a good value and the price of bar drinks is very low. The place is clean with above average cleanliness and order in the female restroom. The atmosphere is not impressive in any way — sort of a «sporty dive bar» — and some of the clientele on the outside patio are colorful to say the least, but everyone is polite and friendly. The servers are extraordinary and the kitchen is accommodating with changes etc. My husband really likes the lobster melt which comes with an insane amount of fresh lobster. I have yet to order anything bad. Food is served hot and always appears to be fresh — never even a slightly brown piece of lettuce. The seafood chowder and clam chowder, available daily, are both very good and the lobster bisque they have on Fridays rivals any we have had. We go for lunch and/or dinner at least once a week but, sadly, most of our friends would rather frequent more upscale places… where neither the food nor the service could be much better(different but not better). Try the fried green tomatoes…

The food is pretty lackluster bar food. The drinks were decent. Our bartender was great at multitasking, he had the patio bar full and was the only bartender. He was constantly moving and very friendly. The outside patio is nice, but I prefer Palm Beach Ale House for the vibe and better food and late night drink specials.

This is our favorite go-to place. They serve great wings, ribs and fish and chips. I had tilapia last visit and everything was done exactly like I requested. I think the prices are average, service is usually good, sometimes great. We bring all of our guests here!
