Napoleon Bakery is a local treasure, run by a mother and her two sons.
The cakes and pastries are delicious; my favorite is the strawberry shortcake cake.
It is definitely old world, down to the European-​style building. Don’t expect the fastest service; as long as you don’t expect this to be like a Dunkin Donuts, you will enjoy the realistic, human-​centered pace and the natural flow that the owners have with their longtime customers.
Besides the delicious sweets, every day a flurry of savory treats and dishes are on display for sampling and purchasing; these change every day. I’ve never been able to enter this shop without buying more than one item, and usually a bag of cookies– the kind my Sicilian grandmother used to make.
The owners have memorable personalities; interacting with them is half the fun.

EVERYTHING is freshly made. This place is a must see if you visit lake worth it west palm. Their sandwiches are incredible. They cure their own meats. They have a Cuban with a special sauce that will blow your mind. Visit a few times a week and everyone is always incredibly friendly. One of the best places to eat in Lake Worth period. They do close at 4pm so make sure to get there early!

Amazing gem in Lake Worth! Had a literal foodgasm when I tried their Coconut Crème Brûlée with Powdered Sugar. Yes, I know it must be packing at least 1500 calories, but after one bite, you throw all your reservations to the wind. The Crème Brûlée tastes like pure sugary magic goodness and just melts perfectly in your mouth.
Service-​wise, the owner of this Spanish bakery is very nice and hospitable. I absolutely adore this bakery and would definitely come back again.

A real FIND! I was looking up bakeries on Unilocal in the WPB area bc I wanted to find a great birthday cake for my mom’s 90^th. After reading endless reviews and not being wowed by anything… I started looking from a different angle — ethnic. I wanted something homemade with wholesome ingredients but still pretty enough to present. Ended up really being impressed with the Napoleon Bakery. I took a drive down 95 and found it in a very Cuban area of PB. A good sign, in my eyes! Far away from the Publixes, Whole Foods, etc… Which= corporate bakery to me.
The building is colorful and crazy. It was just what I had hoped. When we walked in, it was brimming with customers — some ordering at the counter, some eating at tables — everyone chattering and just a chaotic mess! There didn’t seem to be any order to anything, kind of like walking in late to a family reunion while everyone was at the buffet!
It appeared, when I finally reached the counter, that it was just that. There must have been 20 different dishes being whisked in and out by what seemed like a regiment of bakers, cooks and helpers — possibly all related, but definitely working their tails off. Each dish looking and smelling better than the previous one! There was arroz con pollo, rice with squid and ink, fried octopus, baby marinated artichokes, mussels in saffron, little Cuban sandwiches, grilled pork sliders, olive tapenade on toasts, fish in tomato sauce, mini empanadas, endless salads, etc. And of course a cornucopia of pastries and tarts and meringues and cakes… We couldn’t just pay for the cake and go — so we indulged ourselves and took advantage of this surprise lunch from heaven. We can’t wait to go back next time we are in town — I just hope it stays the way it is. There are so few charming family run places that remain, especially in this very gentrified area of FL. That it would be a shame.
By the way, the Tira Mi Su cake that they made for us was fabulous. Full of coffee flavor, fresh whipped cream and cacao.
Go if you can — but don’t ruin the secret!

A year later and this quirky establishment has gotten even better. Last week, after a hefty deeelish lunch, I took home a generous selection of the cold cuts including various types of hams and cheeses and the house-​made sausages. Extraordinary!

Unfortunately, I have to give this place one star after not even trying the food. I have seen this bakery for years and noted the 5-​star reputation, needless to say I’ve been dying to check it out. I arrived Friday at 4 p.m. I walked in and there were two people at the deli counter to the right and for older women at the bakery counter to the left. I walk to the register to order and pay for anything that I can grab and go and eat immediately, and a man was chatting to someone in a doorway that looks like the office. He didn’t look at me once, I patiently waited… The older ladies we’re taking their time picking out the pastries, which is totally fine but I was ready to pay and go. No one said hello, no one asked if I was ready to pay, nothing.
I dont give many one star reviews, but the lack of customer service here disgusted me. I’m sorry to say I will not return to try it again to see if I’m treated better.
It’s really a shame, the pastries look so cute, I really was excited to check it out… But customer service is just as important has your food

This is definitely my kind of place unique, authentic fresh and original. There is no place like Napoleon Bakery unless you are in Spain. What I love the most is the Napoleon sandwich made with Prosciutto home made spicy chorizo provolone lettuce tomato and Spanish olive oil «Delicioso» They also have foods like arroz con pollo, Paella, fresh made soups like Garbanzo or sopa de gallego all to die for. If I had to have my last meal of my life it would be here. I love going there to have a cappuccino with there Napoleon Whisky or Rum cake. The owner is always there Doña Maria «Bendicienes»

Let us all eat cake… Remix version: cake, cake, cake! And seriously it wasn’t even my birthday… But my review is significantly about cakes they make at this bakery.
Napoleon bakery is in West Palm Beach and a bit of a drive from my place but so worth it. When I stepped inside I thought I was in Spain with the Spanish style interior. Very cute and cozy family owned bakery. I loved all the pastries and breads etc they had on their counters. A few tables to sit but mostly to pick up your goodies. The parking lot is behind the building.
I had ate their different cakes before at multiple parties. My personal opinion is their fruit cake varieties is the best. They also make amazing tiramisu dessert as well. I wanted to order a cake for my brother in law’s small wedding dinner. I did not want to go overboard with crazy decorations and custom cakes because the bride and groom wanted to keep everything simple.
One of my friend’s had gotten a two tier layer cake on her own wedding from them. Her style was great and I showed them the cake they made for her and wanted something similar. I went in person to talk to Maria who handles cakes and she told me it was possible to do that cake however they do not provide the ribbon or flowers I wanted on it. However, I can drop off the artificial flowers etc 2 – 3 days before wedding if I wanted that style. Considering how decently priced they are I felt like that’s do able. They wrote down exactly what color I wanted, what fruits to include, what sort of cream etc. I would suggest picking the meringue cream instead of the whip cream because it lasts longer and made fresh in their kitchen.
Overall, Maria and Elsa did a great job with the attention of detail. Elsa called me the day of the pick up to ask a question she was unsure of to make sure I was happy with the result. I ended up giving extra gratuity because of the extraordinary service they provided. Family owned bakeries are special and my family loved their cake for their special day. ~

Nice cake. Staff was nice too. Although I did ask for a more elaborate design with fruit and only got 4 small berries but it was okay :)

After reading the reviews, and noticing they were a Spanish bakery that sold tortilla (yes!!!) I knew I absolutely had to pop in to grab some treats and maybe lunch.
First of all, this place is adorable. It’s a colonial styled building and is very large inside. I can’t actually remember if there is seating or not… I believe there is though?
A nice young lady saw my shocked face as I walked into a wonderland of meats and desserts and asked if she could help me. I asked her about the tortillas and she took me to where they stored them and cut me up two large slices, one plain and one mushroom. She mentioned they also had lentil soup, which my boyfriend loves, so I took a cup back for him. He’s a super picky eater and he absolutely LOVED the soup, which says a lot. I don’t like lentils at all and I even enjoyed it with a piece of bread.
Speaking of bread, they left me with a huge loaf of the most delicious bread I have ever had.
I also bought a Tres Leches slice and Cheesecake slice for my cousin. He devoured the cheesecake and I finished the Tres Leches for him. Both were incredible.
The tortillas were made absolutely perfectly. I prefer the mushroom one to the plain simply because of the added flavors, so I will definitely get that one next time.
Definitely returning! I saw they had roulette/​roll cake and I am totally down to grab a slice next time! Only thing is the lady helping me told me they would be closed for the next month for vacation. NO! I can’t wait that long!

This is a gem. The food is absolutely delicious here. My family always orders the birthday cakes. Their ham and cheese croissant is my favorite. I’ve been coming here for years and we are never dissapointed. Great service.

They keep hours that a banker would envy (They don’t open until 10a, close at 4 on weekdays, and are closed Monday and Tuesdays) but if you can find them open, their baked goods and food are off-​the-​charts good! A little family-​run operation. One of the best peanut-​butter cookies I’ve ever tried!

I love this place! The owner and chef is amazing. She cooks everything with the help of her sons. I could stay there and eat all day long all the tapas they have.
The tortilla española is the best. Either with chorizo or mushrooms. Empanadas, sandwiches and the paella the best. Don’t forget the cakes and desserts, so delicious. When you leave, don’t forget to take some bread home.

This is another little gem of a place in the WPB area. I have been meaning to go here for awhile! I had asked around & a local had suggested I try both Tulipan & Napoleon Bakery. They both have EXCELLENT COFFEE & PASTRIES. NAPOLEON has more robust offerings of PREPARED FOODS. The pastries are numerous & varied too.
I had a Café con Leche & it was DELISH! The Potato & Mushroom Galette was DIVINE! I also purchased a cannoli & a little ramekin of Bread Pudding! BOTH YUMMY
Service was friendly, kind, efficient & gracious.
The Family are Basque which was really cool. I spent a year in Montpelier & went to Andalusia & Galician areas of Spain. Southern Europe is pretty gorgeous & the people are known for their gracious Hospitality.
This will be a REGULAR STOP for me going forward for a coffee, etc. Looking forward to trying a sandwich here!

Came here for brunch on Saturday. What a fantastic find! As soon as we entered the bakery we were warmly greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. We went straight to the pintxo selections. There must be more than twenty choices, all homemade. Overwhelmed, we asked him to choose for us. We tried Arroz con pollo, Spanish tortilla with mushrooms & Huervos rancheros. Everything was delicious. We ended our meal with a fresh & crispy caramel Napolean. There is a small parking lot beside the building, a single table seats two outside behind the bakery and three small tables inside. If you like authentic Spanish pintxo (tapas), you must come here!

Just moved to Florida and looked for European bakery and came upon this place. The owner was wonderful and the food was really good quality and delicious. Will definitely go back often.

As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted, and was offered food to try. My friend recommended the croissants, so I ordered one with some chorizo, lettuce, a little mayo and cheese. It was delicious, thinly sliced, heavenly perfection. With some espresso on the side, I struggled to decide on all the other foods I wanted. I had a drive ahead of me, and decided to get 2 more chorizo croissants to go, which were eaten an hour into the drive and were still amazing.
The food is all fresh, the service is spectacular, and there is a sense of trust and community you don’t find too many other places. Can’t wait to come back

I almost broke my neck when I was touring on West Palm Beach and the Napoleon Bakery sign on an Old World Charming Building with red vintage windows grabbed my attention off of Dixie Hwy.
Needless to say, I found Napoleons, Mousses, Cakes, Artisan Breads, Chorizos, Mussels on Bread and Fresh Deli. One word describe everything: Amazing!
Family owned, Mom and Sons from Spain were baking right there in the kitchen everything! One of the handsome sons told me the business has over 30 years since they open when he was only a Toddler! He was a delight to talk to!
When in town, I will stop. there everyday for sure! :-)

Amazing pastries and chocolate with liquor truffles– to die for. The mini sandwiches with sausage… Amazing! Our favorite meal is: Café Con Leche– dark, with a mushroom Spanish tortilla and a side order of Brussel sprouts with a Baggett on the side! Be sure to top this off with a rum chocolate truffle or divinity or an almond cookie or go back to the counter and get some paella!

After reading reviews on Unilocal and a great recommendation from a friend at work, I just knew I had to try it!
First of all, its located right on Dixie Hwy right before you reach Forest Hill Blvd heading south… I say this because I ended up passing the lot and had to make a u-​turn – it’s a whole thing! But in all honesty, its worth the u-​turn!
The exterior of the restaurant is uniquely designed and beautifully colored, draws you right in.
Napoleon Bakery is family owned and they treat you like family once you walk in… To the right is a deli counter like display and a couple of dine-​in. To the left are another row of display counters with amazing looking desserts and more options then you could imagine.
I allowed Yon creative freedom and having heard that the roast beef is right out of the oven, that’s what he chose! The sandwich was prepared on a fresh baguette and all the ingredients worked so well together.
There is no actually menu, the House prepares amazing dishes and they are there for the taking for as long as supplies last :)
There was an amazing pasta dish with mussels, scallops and shrimp– I can’t speak on its taste but it looked awesome.
As I was leaving, I also offered creative freedom on the dessert choice and was pleasantly surprised to enjoy a delicious strawberry shortcake!
Service is phenomenal, even with an offer to get the door for you on your way out! All in all, its one of my favorite new bakeries!
