Palm Gallery & Custom Framing

Warning! Do NOT ever take a canvas painting to Palm Gallery, if you need it prepared for shipping! They either have no idea how to roll a canvas for shipping, or, they don’t care.
When my mother passed away in Florida, we wanted to ship her favorite painting to our home in California. Because we wanted to be sure it arrived in good shape, we brought it to an art gallery with good reviews: Palm Gallery. We waited 15 – 20 minutes while the woman there removed it from the frame, rolling it for shipping. We then had it custom packed and shipped. It arrived with many cracks in the paint and holes in the canvas itself — because it had not been rolled around a tube to hold the shape. A California gallery showed us how it should have been prepared — with thin plastic, and rolled around a tube.
Palm Gallery may be good at custom framing, but look elsewhere if you need the type of service that we required.
