From the first email, Eric was prompt, courteous and fully explained everything. And our two movers where absolutely wonderful! They arrived ahead of schedule, were fully prepared and took extra care of my furniture. They couldn’t have been more pleasant and professional. I’m not a big fan of moving but I will no doubt use Smooth Movers again should the need arise and I will recommend them to anyone who will be needing movers.

Hired smooth movers for our recent move, the two movers we had was extremely professional and polite (called to confirm and also called to let us know they were stuck in traffic and was running late). They were organized and packed and unloaded to the new house with ease. We have moved a lot and they have to be one of my favorite moving companies that we have used so far. Highly recommend them.

I tapped Eric and his team to move my shit again. He’s still the same ol friendly critter he ever was. The guys he sent to my apartment did a fantastic job, who knew there were echelons of movers? They loaded the truck like my shit were pieces in a game of Tetris. We drove 1,700 miles and nothing moved. Smooth Movers, man.

We used Smooth Movers today to move some large heavy furniture pieces from my in-​laws house to our home. Not only did they arrive early, they were professional, knowledgable, hard working and very fast.
Zack ran the team with precision. Paperwork was clear with no hidden fees or costs. This move, which could have been very stressful, was exactly as their name depicts… it was a Smooth Move!

Eric and his team were very professional and friendly. They handled my furniture as if it were their own. They were on time and worked very hard to ensure safty of my belongings. If you are looking for a professional, on time, friendly, and wonderful service, I highly recommend Smooth Movers!

We used Eric and his team of professional and friendly movers to move all of our attic stored items plus everything else from our three room condo to a house. Eric, the owner, gave us a full disclosure estimate once he inventoried all of our belongings at the condo in advance of the move. Only a few days before our scheduled move, we changed our decision to rent our own truck with only using his men and asked Eric if we could use one of his trucks instead. Eric instantly responded to our email with a quick YES, which was amazing. In fact, on the day of our condo move out, by midday, we had already filled one truck; the men called Eric and shortly thereafter he arrived with another truck for the remainder of our goods. We also stored our belongings in the trucks overnight in his secure storage area due to a delay in our closing date. The movers were on time for move out and move in and worked efficiently in a courteous manner. Not one of our belongings was damaged! We have moved 7 times in our 45 year marriage and we can emphatically say that this was the SMOOTHEST, easiest, least stressful move that we have ever done! Thank you Eric and guys! You are awesome!!!

I am very pleased with the service provided. They moved me from West Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale. The movers showed up on time, were polite, very professional and immediately got to work. They took their time to answer my questions. Had boxes and tape to provide, should I need them. They did all the work. I didn’t have to lift a finger, other than the packing I did. All in all, I was very pleased and would without a doubt use this company again for any of my moving needs as well as quickly recommend them to a friend.

I used this company for a last minute move and I was so stressed out because I had a very small time frame. Not a problem for this company. The owner was responsive to my needs always responded to my calls and concerns. His team showed up (I wasn’t able to be there) worked well with my housekeeper to get the job done. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Total pros.

This was my first big move & I was nervous about the process. Smooth Movers were VERY professional & experienced. I felt comfortable with them in my home & once I began to see them work, I was immediately confident with our moving day. They handled all my belongings carefully & quickly. Great moving experience with Smooth Movers. Not only were they on time, courteous and careful with our belongings, but the final bill came in under the estimate (when does THAT ever happen? LOL). We moved from Singer Island to Tampa. It was pleasant dealing with a small local business. Eric responded personally and quickly to all questions, was flexible with our ever-​changing move date, and delivered on every promise. I would highly recommend this company.

I had a fantastic experience with this company! The customer service was outstanding. I hired two guys to spend two days going through some old storage units to unpack and take inventory of what was long forgotten about. It was a mix of boxes, crates, and furniture.

Smooth Movers exceeded my moving expectations. With all of the bad stories you hear about movers and moving companies I expected a rough day. Not with Smooth Movers! They showed up with smiles, were very polite, worked very hard and got the job done earlier than we even expected! I called many companies before I choose one and I’m glad I went with my gut feeling. Eric was easy to book with, straight and to the point on pricing, very well priced compared to other companies and I’ve already recommended them to my friends and will definitely use them for my next move. Happy Holidays everyone! I am happy to write this review. The week before Christmas 2014 Eric came to our apartment in Palm Beach Gardens to give us a quote for our move south. The following day the movers Tristan and Kendall showed up on time with smiles on their faces. (Very refreshing after a recent bad experience with another moving company that only moved 4 of our items).
They spent several hours carefully loading and unloading our things. They even helped me coordinate moving my friend who is disabled. His special chair and hospital bed needed extra care and set up at the new townhouse. My friend was particularly concerned about his baseball collectors pictures and frames. Kendall went out of his way to wrapped them in front of my friend so he could see they were being taken good care of, this warmed my heart. Good caring people!
At our new house the crew set up and helped me place the big items in my friends room and the living room. My friend was very happy with the arrangement. This company definitely stands by their name «Smooth Movers.» Five stars from US!!! We hope to not move in a very long time, but if so we would call them again.

Eric and his crew (Tristan, Carl, Rich and Kendall) moved us from Palm Beach Gardens to Vero Beach. We could not have had a better moving experience. These guys were all professional, polite, careful and efficient. They even took off their shoes in the house at our request-​we like to keep a very clean house.
We interviewed several movers and Smooth Movers was the best quote-​by thousands of dollars in our case. They used two trucks and even picked up items we had in storage from two different locations without a problem. The hot weather they were working in-​mid 90’s made the work all the more difficult but, not a complaint from anyone. All have great attitudes and they are all full-​time employees-​not temp workers. That’s why they probably work so well together. No surprises or damages in the move and the guys that packed the truck unloaded the trust when they delivered it to our new house. They were on the job, on time every single day.

Funny how I discovered this company… I was visiting my son in Gainesville, Florida. I stayed at the La Quinta Hotel for a few nights, and on the third night, I had decided to make a move from Royal Palm Beach, Florida to Gainesville! My son attended Santa Fe University for 4 years, and over that period of time, I had visited with him several times a year. I was so impressed with Gainesville, that I decided to leave Royal Palm Beach, after residing there for more than 23 years and start over.
I had wondered where to begin in finding a moving company, and dreaded the thought of having to go through the process of calling movers and having them come and estimate my move. Late that night… I went out on the patio to smoke a cigarette, and there in the parking lot sat their huge truck… complete with a 561 area code and a local number which is right in the Royal Palm Beach area!!! I thought that this was an incredible omen… placed there by the Almighty Himself, and called the number the following day when I returned to West Palm. The rest is history!!!
Hands down, this is absolutely the most AMAZING moving company I have ever used! Eric, the owner is unbelievable. He estimated my apartment and storage unit TWICE, before and after I packed up all of my stuff, and gave me an INCREDIBLE PRICE to move from West Palm Beach to Gainesville, FL. He was also very instrumental in planning the arrangement of my tons of boxes and the best plan of attack when unloading into 2 storage units and my apartment. He was kind, caring, concerned, and more cooperative and friendly than I had ever expected a mover to be.
They were on time, and two of the most incredible human beings I have ever met in my life (Kendall and Carl… the movers) were so polite, so careful, so expedient, and so cooperative… I thought I had hit the lottery with this company!!!
They loaded the truck from front to back, gave me an estimate which they stood by… even though they got snagged at a Weight Station and were SEVERLY OVERWEIGHT with all of my stuff both from the apartment and storage unit and were fined for it… they stuck by their estimate and absorbed the additional costs.
Kendall and Carl worked through the day dispersing my boxes between the two storage units and my apartment, and never complained even though we had to re-​locate some boxes from one storage unit to another after unloading everything. They were super-​humans the way they worked… and super nice all throughout the move. It actually ran into overtime for them, because of the relocation of the boxes after everything was dropped off, and I compensated them nicely for their time and supreme efforts to make my move absolutely flawless and painless.
There was absolutely no damage whatsoever to my stuff, even though I packed everything by myself. Boxes were placed where I had requested without a peep out of the guys, and the move went absolutely PERFECT! Eric also provided the guys with plastic runners to protect the newly-​laid carpet in my apartment for no additional charge!!! Truly AMAZING from a moving company.
Eric is trustworthy, caring, and an honest individual who will make sure you are satisfied in any way possible. He has emailed me several times after the move just to touch base… and is genuinely a concerned, highly professional, and an absolute fabulous human being and outstanding businessman.

I used Smooth Movers when I relocated to South Florida in 2012. When I decided to move to a smaller place in 2014 I called around for several quotes but the most reasonable was Smooth Movers.
On Friday, 3 guys showed up on time and were very polite and nice. I moved from a 2-​story townhouse to a 6^th floor condo and they completed the entire move in a little over 3.5 hours. For any moves I have in the future I would most definitely use them again!

I used Smooth Movers this past weekend to help us finish up moving the large items when we were leaving our apartment to move to a new house. Eric wanted to come out to give a personal quote, which he was easy to work with for scheduling that. I got some quotes from some other parties (including one that had a Groupon), and they did not give me the reliable feeling. One seemed to lowball it, but since these were all billed at the going rate, I was ok paying just a few bucks more for somebody who had been there in person.
On the move day, the guys showed up right on time, not early or late. I was on the 3^rd floor, with no elevator, but the guys had no problem getting all of my heavy items down the stairs, in good condition. They were quick, and I didn’t notice any of them dragging their feet, which is great since I was paying by the hour. They brought packing materials for the items I needed, but weren’t wasteful. Finally, once they had loaded up the truck, they moved us into our new house.
The move into the house was fairly straight forward. Quick work, no complaints. We asked the guys to put a sleeper sofa in a difficult room to get to. They tried every method, but it didn’t look like it would work. Finally, we ended up taking a window off and were able to go through that. I can’t stress enough how nice these guys were and accommodating. We asked for some help and they didn’t have any issue with the requests.
I’d recommend them to any other people moving around in the local area. Thanks Eric and his team!
