Opened our Account in October. Set up on– line Banking. It worked once. I got the run around 4 times from my local branch, who asked me twice if I knew my zip code??? They said they re-​booted it 4 times but I could not get in. The last time I called @ 4:10, and was asked if I was sure my zip code was
2 132, I said I really thought so. Lady told me, SHE was doing me a favor, bc. she was getting ready to leave. Finally gave up. Using my husbands account to get in while I find a new bank!

Many employees, including Love Mahoney, are unfriendly, unavailable, and lack a sense of compassion. Bring your money elsewhere.

The City of Boston Credit Union is not just for City Employees. Any resident of Suffolk or Norfolk County can join. If you live outside those counties, you can still join if you’re a City, State, or county employee.
I like banking at this branch for several reasons. One is that there is almost never a line, and when there is it’s short and it moves fast. Another thing I like is that it is in the Shaw’s plaza, so I can always find a parking spot in the giant lot. I stopped in yesterday afternoon to ask about a personal loan and I walked out the door with a check in my hand 25 minutes later. Way too easy!
There’s usually free coffee available on a counter top near the entrance. They have a coin machine just inside the door, the kind where you dump your giant jar of coins in and the machine counts them up so you can get real money, and unlike other machines you don’t have to pay a percentage, use of this machine is free for members only!
