Best Dentist Ever! Dr. Brian Shea and Dr. Richard Shea has been taking care of my family for years. They are true professionals and do great work. I have never been to a dentist that is so accessible and cares so much for their patients. I would highly recommend this dentistry to any and everyone!

Dr. Brian Shea is an excellent dentist. I have never had to wait very long in the waiting room (max. 5 min) and I have never had so many laughs in the dental chair! My children go there as well and have no fear of dental visits because of his friendly demeanor.

Sorry, but the truth is these guys have 0, none, no, nada, respect for people’s time. If you don’t believe me try them out and tell me if you wait less than 20 minutes which is my personal shortest wait ever.
They ARE great dentists though. Give them 5 stars as dentists, 1 star for respect for your valuable time.

My wife has been going to Dr Brian Shea, Dr Richard Shea’s son for years and she finds him to be an excellent dentist. I just started seeing Brian and have had a cleaning which I thought was very good (what I’m use too). I just recently had a major cavity filled which I thought was the best dental procedure I’ve ever had absolutely no discomfort during or after.

Best Dental Practice Ever!
I grew up going to Dr. Shea’s office as a child. I figured all dentists were roughly the same. Then I moved for college, graduate school, and eventually settled in a different city. At all these places I had different dentsists (i think 6 different dentists total). I really didn’t appreciate Dr. Shea’s practice until then.
All the dentists are wonderful (Dr. Richard Shea Sr, Dr Richard Shea Jr, and Dr. Brian Shea). It’s a real family business and they know their patients’ teeth. They don’t try to upsell. They will do what needs to be done but won’t try to talk you into some expensive unnecessary procedure to make a few bucks for themselves. They’re unbelievably professional and personable.
Dr. Shea Sr. likes to talk about his garden and sometimes brings in veggies for his patients. They really know what will be covered by insurance and what won’t– and will be 100% honest with you. You can ask any question without them making you feel stupid (not the case with most dentists i’ve tried).
The receptionists and dental hygienists are professional and really helpful. Everyone takes their time to answer all of your questions before you leave.
I can’t recommend them enough. You really don’t recognize the importance of having a good dentist until you’ve had a bad one (or 5).

Lets just say I have a bad history with dentists from my very first that actually filled a cavity without Novocaine (it’s ok… it’ll be quick) and whose business was seized by the IRS (found out when I showed up for a cleaning to a closed building) to one that was seriously incompetent you could see how I would avoid the dentist at all cost. Well a few years ago I cracked a filling that was picked up while I was getting my wisdom teeth looked at. Since I was leaving the country in a few days to go backpacking the oral surgeon referred me to Richard Shea Jr. who got me in that day. The tooth was a goner but he got me in with an endodontist that day (it was a lot of driving!) who did a root canal (actually painlessly!).
When I came back from my trip I went back for a cleaning and it was a horrible! Too many cavities to count thanks to my bad Irish genes and previous horrible dentist BUT Dr. Shea is so nice and gentle and worked with me to get them all fixed up with a minimal amount of discomfort and fuss.
Many years later (no more cavities THANK YOU VERY MUCH!) I never miss an appt and even have brought most of my family here. We all love Dr. Shea who makes going to the dentist a pleasant experience. He always remembers little bits of your personal life and always takes into consideration your medical history and the cost of dental treatment. I highly recommend him to everyone!
