We picked up a perfect tree and wreath from here and they helped us by carrying it to our car and tieing it down! I would suggest brining a few flash lights if you like to really inspect your tree like I do and make sure there’s no browning or bald spots. This was our first Christmas on our own and we checked quit a few lots and ended up coming back to chad’s. Luckily they still had the tree and wreath I picked out. They have a fire going by the register to keep everyone toasty and his wife makes some really nice wreaths for sell. He seems like a pretty easy going guy and I will be back next year.

Truly the only downside is that it’s cash only. We had to run across the street to the AMPM to take some cash out. But it’s worth it — good prices (we got a beautiful, full 5.5′ for $ 42) and the tree you want is quickly wrapped and strapped to your car. We’ll be coming back next year!

Great trees for a great price. Small lot, friendly staff. Not much to say. They have big tall trees for $ 20. Of course they are the bushier ones but come on for $ 20 and the happiness it brought to my son was worth it. Kids don’t care if it’s a noble fir. To them the bigger the tree the better! Merry Christmas.

Friendly service, nice fresh trees, and Santa. The trees smell amazing and look super fresh. They have trees of all sizes and multiple types. The less expensive ones have fine needles and shed too much. I suggest spending a little more and get a Douglas Fir. Santa visits on weekends, so it’s a good time to take the kids. They also sell tree care kits and tree stands, which are more expensive then what you can find at your local hardware store. After purchasing our tree they loaded on top of our car and tied it down for us. Also they threw in a tree care kit for free when we purchased a stand.

We have been getting trees from Chad for a few years now. The trees are always very fresh and last long into New Years. He is very helpful in guiding you to the right tree. There are helpers to tie down to the car if he isn’t available himself. Prices are reasonable especially for the quality of the tree. I haven’t seen any in his lot that are questionable freshness for the 4 years we have been going there. Even the «Charlie Brown» trees are awesome. Chad is a great guy, all the way down to his dog. I can’t say enough. We will be back again next year, of course. We love to make Chad’s our tradition on Thanksgiving weekend.

this is our second year we bought our christmas tree from chad. last year, we did a thorough price shopping analysis: dave’s, target, home depot, lowe’s. although target and lowe’s did have lower priced trees, they weren’t as lovely. yes, i said lovely. chad’s prices are pretty good, he is super friendly and his trees are in great condition (and long-​lasting). i love supporting local businesses, and he is wesac borned and raised. in fact, his parents own whitey’s next door. =)

This was my first experience at Chad’s Christmas Tree’s and my first Christmas tree of my own. He was helpful and suggested trees after I had told him what I was looking for. He was very friendly and took the tree out to my truck. If I’m still living in West Sacramento next Christmas, I’ll definitely go back to his lot!

Chad helped me personally when I pulled into the convenient lot on Jefferson Blvd. He helped me pick one of the freshest trees in my price range. He was very personable and his sweet golden lab Hurley is an awesome addition to the experience. The trees are fresh and exceptionally good quality. My tree has not shed even one needle on the way home, or since. These are fresh trees at reasonable prices. right next to Whiteys Jolly Cone. No Hassles, just fresh trees & genuine service

One of the best places i have ever been to in our area! Chad was so friendly when he helped my husband and i pick out a tree. He showed us all the trees that were in our price range and when we picked the one, which was BEAUTIFUL and only $ 20 for a 6 footer! he cut the bottom limbs off and made sure it stood up straight and told us how to properly care for our tree to make it last until christmas. He then loaded it on to the top of our car and tied it down for us. we only had to spend about 15 minutes at the most at his lot and then we were on our way. Plus the lot is open late until about 9pm! Thank you Chad, our tree looks beautiful, we love it!!!

We buy our Christmas trees from Chad’s every year for the past 3 years and we have always been happy with the trees. Our most favorite is the silver tips. He always gives us a good deal and is very friendly. He helps put the tree (s) to your car. He has great customer service and his crew I can’t imagine going to another place.

This one is only open from mid-​November till Christmas, for obvious reasons. It’s a small lot (sharing space with Whitey’s customers) and all of the tree are pre-​cut. We stopped by on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and found 2 guys working — one (Chad?) running the place who seemed to know what he was talking about and gave us the feeling we could trust him; the other didn’t seem to know what was going on and seemed like «the lackey Mexican guy».
We just wanted a little tree, but the table stand trees were inexplicably the same price as the 4 – 6 ft ones ($ 19.99). We added a good quality tree stand for $ 23. It’s a great little tree– We’ll see if we can keep it green till Christmas!
