Business Owner
Kids Busy Book was founded in January 2012 by me, Dawn Pedersen. I am a mother of a toddler and I teach web design at three colleges. I have a BA in studio art, an MA in Education, and I have been a web and graphic designer since 2000. I grew up in Los Angeles, but I have lived in northern California since 1980. My husband, son, and I live in West Sacramento.
I created this site in response to a huge interest among my mommy friends in finding local activities that appeal to children, particularly the very young.
