Martin’s Integrity Auto Diagnostic and Repair

Good honest family run auto repair shop. They made time to come and look at a crack in my radiator and gave me a good quote. Did the work in less than 8 hours at a decent rate and told me they’d look at the car again free of charge if any issues arise.

I just took my car into integrity… this name is perfect! My cars code would not come up specifically… recommend taking to dealer… he did not even charge me wow!!! Rare in today’s world good karma to you Martin and staff

An honest group, for sure!
I had my car towed to Martin’s Integrity after it broke down on my way to work. After agreeing to the $ 49 diagnostic they kept it for a few days to check it out.
After it was determined my issue was a little more complicated than they were equipped for, they recommended another shop AND delivered my car there at no additional cost to me.
In addition, they ended up only charging me $ 19 of the $ 49 diagnostic! It’s that honesty that will keep me going back and recommending them to others!

Really honest and great service! It is hard to find a place that tries to write up extra problems, but these guys did not. The service was great and it was affordable. Will be back most definitely!

We all know that in this day in age, finding a good, reliable mechanic is truly a challenge. Especially with many shops that give you the runaround in telling you that there is more work to be done on your vehicle than what you had anticipated. However, this is not the case at «Martin’s Integrity Auto Diagnostic and Repair». In fact, this small business has been our go-​to auto repair shop for nearly a decade and is 100% reliable, trustworthy, and honest. Not to mention, the customer service here is better than anything I’ve ever experienced.
My fiancée, Claudia and I have been coming to «Martin’s» for years and the owner, Steve Martin has been performing just about all of the work done on both of our Honda’s. His step daughter, Rachel is usually the one that answers the phone, takes the appointments and is in the main waiting area. For first timers, finding his small shop can be a hit or miss as you may never notice it driving by on Rice Ave. right off of nearby Harbor Blvd. Keep in mind that he is only open Monday through Friday from 8am-​5pm but he will gladly take appointments and walk-​ins if he’s not too busy.
The first time I came to «Martin’s», I was actually referred here by one of my friends back in 2006. At the time, I needed major brake work done on my car and prior to coming here, I took it to some of the major businesses that everyone is familiar with (Brake Masters, Les Schwab, etc.) until they told me the cost of the parts + labor. The price that those businesses quoted me were well over $ 400 (for front brake pads, shoes, & labor). And after taking it to «Martin’s», he literally quoted me less than half of that price! Not to mention, I was able to get an oil/​filter change and tire rotation while still being almost a couple hundred dollars less!
Keep in mind that there are certain things that he is unable to fix (such as rebuilding transmissions and technical-​related issues). However, he does work on several other things to get your car up and running smoothly. And in that long span of years I’ve been going here, he’s replaced my brakes, water pump, timing belt, shocks, radiator, and many oil changes. And ever since my friend referred me to him, my fiancée brings her car into his shop frequently as well!
I truly feel that there needs to be more businesses such as «Martin’s Integrity Auto Diagnostic and Repair». Every time we’ve come here, My fiancée and I do not feel pressured that they will tell us we need hundreds or thousands of dollars in repairing our vehicles. We all know that the cost to maintain the upkeep of your vehicle can be an unexpected burden on your finances but «Martin’s» has really changed my overall perception as of the last few honest places.
Thank you Steve and all of the employees at «Martin’s Integrity Auto Diagnostic and Repair», they genuinely go above and beyond for each and every one of their customers. And you have truly made both myself and Claudia very happy customers. And we will continue to come to your wonderful business for years to come!

I took my 2000 Ford Taurus to Martin’s today for a diagnostic due to my check engine light being on and everyone was REALLY nice from the get go. I dropped off my car at around 830 and they called me around 1 and let me know my issue and my options. I wanted to go ahead and fix it because the price quoted was a really reasonable price. Unfortunately he was unable to fix my car due to some technical issues but I really appreciated his honesty and the customer service there I would totally recommend this place and I would definitely come back in the future…

Went to Martin’s when I read the great Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed. I had quite a laundry list of repairs needed on my Nissan truck, including new radiator, brakes, knock sensor, timing belt and water pump — -YIKES! Not only did they do an awesome job on the repairs, when they couldn’t finish by Friday night, they came in on Saturday (when they’re ordinarily closed) to finish up the job at no extra charge… I found a mechanic I can truly trust! He has a repeat customer in me…

If you need a mechanic you can trust at a reasonable price — this is the place to go! I take my car and my son’s car here and have had exceptional service every time! I referred a friend here and she experienced the same. It’s a relief to know they will give me a straight answer about the situation and lay out my options. I appreciate the value I get at Martin’s and always drive away happy with the work they have completed!

Needed a mechanic to do an inspection on a used car, and came here based on the good Unilocal reviews. Was visiting from the bay area and had a very compressed schedule to purchase the car, which Martin’s was able to accommodate — including some last-​minute schedule changes on my end.
They did a really thorough inspection, answered all my questions, and seemed very knowledgeable, and were some of the friendliest folks I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. They seemed honest all around, and charged me a fair rate for their services.
Based on their inspection (they found the car was in excellent condition, with a few minor issues that were easy to fix) I ended up buying the car and got a great deal on it. It’s been several months now, the car has performed very well on the road, and when I recently had it back at my mechanic in the bay area, they confirmed Martin’s inspection results: the car is in awesome shape, and so far there’s been no hidden surprises or anything that the initial inspection missed.
So based on my experience, I would not hesitate to bring a car here for service or repairs.

This Auto Repair Shop is the only reason I am not on the bus.
As the owner of two older vehicles, I’m really grateful for this mechanic shop. Hands down, this is the best Mechanic Shop in the State, let alone the greater Sacramento Area. The prices are more than fair and the service is exceptional.
The owner (Steve Martin) is an extraordinary mechanic who always gives you an honest assessment of the needs of your vehicle. The turnaround time to get your car back is very impressive and the staff is very courteous. I love bragging about this repair shop because you’d be hard pressed to find another auto repair shop that consistently delivers exceptional service.
I’ve been getting my cars serviced here since 2005 and it’s the only place I consider. West Sacramento has a real gem in Martin’s Integrity Auto and I encourage all drivers to expand the life of their vehicles by going to the best Auto Repair Shop around!

Been going here for a couple years now for tune– ups/​oil changes etc. So far, they’ve lived up to their name. Difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic, but we trust Martin’s so far. Nice to have a local shop we can count on.

I hesitated doing this review for Martin’s Integrity because I selfishly want to keep them my little secret, my hidden gem in West Sacramento. But they deserve props and any business they get from this so here goes.
First of all, I have had the hardest time finding a good mechanic. I think everyone needs a good mechanic and so many are bad, even the ones who were referred to me. A lot of them lie, especially to females. And I am one of those females who are so easy to take advantage of, who knows NOTHING about cars. Or the mechanics don’t speak English and can’t explain to me what’s going on with my car. Or they are rude, have dirty offices, have high prices, or hit on me, some pretty shamelessly.
I was pretty skeptical and cynical of mechanics by the time I found Martin’s Integrity. I found it randomly, I think I was bored at work and looked on
(I google everything!), and looked for a mechanic in West Sacramento.
By that point I was so jaded about mechanics, especially with the last one (he was a referral) who barely spoke English and kept hitting on me. I brought my car to him ONCE, and he always called me in to see him, and I tolerated him bullshitting with me in his office just to make sure I got my car done. He was SO GROSS, kept flirting with me and trying to get me to go out with him.
So I found Martin’s online, called them and was pleased that they were able to see me right away. The place is kinda hidden on a little side street off of Harbor. I pulled into the parking lot and the shop owner, Steve walked up to my car to greet me. Steve was very friendly, courteous and professional. Good start.
I walked into the building and was impressed that it actually had a nice, clean simple little office with a couch, chairs, a TV and various magazines unlike other mechanics who either have no waiting room, no office or the place is nasty filthy. I felt very comfortable there.
I then met the receptionist, Rachel who is Steve’s step daughter. Occasionally her little daughter is there, too. I liked the family atmosphere of the shop and that there was some estrogen in the shop, unlike other mechanics where it’s nothing but testosterone.
I took a closer look around and saw a couple of religious pictures and a picture of Steve when he was on a mission in Mexico, something I learned that he does once in while. Wow, Steve is a Godly man who helps people out of the goodness of his heart. I was impressed! I had prompt, courteous service and paid reasonable prices.
I am so glad I found my mechanic. He has good prices and he communicates to me about my car, doesn’t make me feel stupid like other mechanics and doesn’t ogle me like other mechanics do. I bring in my car regularly and it’s great to have someone who knows my car very well.
It’s too bad that his shop is closed on the weekends but I respect that. He is worth making the time to see during the week!
