A great place to donate and to find cool stuff as well. It’s hit or miss a while ago I found some comic books. I choose to donate here than at sally ‘s on bald hill rd. They won’t take cribs but everything else is game. Also don’t be an asshole and take your trash their. Be kind

Really easy to donate and obtain a tax receipt. The bins in the back are always neat and ready for items to be dropped off. The staff is always friendly and ready to help empty your vehicle.

We have been donating to the Salvation Army for a long time now. What I am going to review is the DONATING process… not what the store has inside. You pull into the lot behind the store to unload your goods. The personalities vary based on who is working but I can say that most of the time(80%) the helpers are very appreciative, helpful, and enthusiastic. I don’t want or expect reverence, fireworks, or Downton Abbey treatment… just respect. Each and every time it is received. Most recently the gentleman that helped almost jumped out of his shoes seeing some items. I don’t say this to receive kudos… but just his appreciation for the nature of the exchange. He was a great help and had a GREAT attitude. I know this store in Artic provides a much needed service to the community. I am happy to help and the staff helps the experience. Please, give to any and every Salvation Army store near to you. We all have more than we need and can help our neighbors. It doesn’t matter if it is old toys, alarm clocks, etc… but also think of items like fans that can help during those tough summer months. Anyway, the Artic Salvation Army delivers to the community and has a great smiling receiving staff in the back lot.
