Mediocre food at downtown Boston prices. Ingredients are seldom fresh. Grill is slathered with beef grease which annoys me because when you order ANYTHING it tastes like a greasy burger. I ordered a chicken chipotle quesadilla from the grill and on multiple occasions tyhey have used a pesto chicken breast. When I ask why in the heck would you use pesto chicken they just look at me like I’m crazy and say«that’s all we have.» One BIG sleazy thing this café did that earns it only two stars is that it used to offer free self-serve water. It took that option away. Now if you ask for free water with your meal it offers to sell you over-priced soda. If you ask again, they tell you to self serve your own water from the bathrooms around the corner. Another knock, they run out of key ingredients all the time for their specials. On the plus side, the people that work there are nice and genuinely want to deliver the best customer experience they can. These guys need to lower their prices, get fresh ingredients and offer complimentary water.
