WILL NEVER RETURN!!! Would give zero stars if I could. Horrible and rude. Ruined my son’s cake and even spelled his name wrong. No apology, acted like it was my fault for ordering a special cake and was bothered that they had to at least fix his name!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Worst service ever the new owner seems like he’s being bother when we walk in the store. My daughter order a large carvalencher and it was only filled up less than half way when back and complain and he looked at the cup and just filled it up a little bit more with vanilla ice cream. Worst service ever. I liked the old owners better they actually cared about their customers.

I never bought the ice cream sandwiches, but the cones they serve are HUGE!
Gotta eat them fast before they topple over, but then I get brain freezes.
Life is rough like that~

I agree with ever single one star review of this location. The new owner is terrible. He is rude and cheap. My family will never return which is a shame since we’ve lived in the area for years and would always go to this location. Unless they get a better owner and improve we are NEVER going back.

This carvel sucks. I’ve lived in the area for years the old owner was kind of rude so when they switched owners I thought it would be better, nope. The ice cream always tastes old & they have horrible customer. Might as well go to the other carvel in Hicksville if you live in the area. Stay away from this one

Horrendus, Rude act like you are bothering them. They can’t roll their eyes enough. Im sure it will change ownership. Cause cant be this rude and stay in business long .Plus plenty of ice cream places in area.

I hate even giving one star!!! New owner is rude and actually makes me feel like he is bothered when I walk in there… I will never ever go in there again! Unless I learn that it is sold again!

This store has been under NEW management since last summer. The previous owners were extremely good at selling ice cream and I was a loyal customer.
Now, I believe the store is selling short weight items. I complained to the manager that the flying saucers I bought in a 6 pack were visually smaller (thinner with less ice cream) in appearance than I remembered. I have been buying this product for many years. He first explained over the phone that he had no control over the packaging and size of the flying saucers. His quote– «they come from the factory that way.» The next day, I visited another carvel store in an adjoining town and discovered that the product looked normal as I expected it would. I went back to the first store and showed the manager the correct looking product and he then stated that he had a girl who did it wrong and he fired her. My disappointment increased because he first would not accept any responsibility for what had happened and only when pressed did he concede there was a packaging problem which adversely effected his products.
At first, he offered no concession for the short weighted merchandise he sold to me. When pressed he offered me another sample with short weight at no charge. I went home and weighed the original package he sold to me on my home scale. It weighed 19.25 ounces (solid measure). The 6 pack says it weighs 24oz. on the label. By my visual assessment and by my measure he is short weighting his products. The store is addressed as 801 Carmen Avenue, Westbury, NY 11 590 516 333‑0441. I am considering reporting him to Consumer Affairs Weights and Measure.

This place has the best soft-​serve ice cream you will ever eat. I was fortunate enough to have spent many a summer in New York during my early childhood, so I more or less feel like I grew up eating this stuff. Frozen yogurt just doesn’t compare to Carvel soft serve, nor does soft serve from any other ice cream place like Dairy Queen. Their ice cream cakes are delicious too!
