Real bad experience. I went in to find out the price of a Maxima for a lease. Before they would negotiate a price the salesperson said she needed to take a $ 200 deposit from my credit card in order to «show the bank I was serious» and run a credit check. I told her that I didn’t think a deposit was appropriate when all I wanted to know was the price of the lease. She then called over the manger, Mirza. Mirza also said that I needed to leave a deposit but he said I could just leave $ 50 cash if I preferred. He assured me that he would return the cash if I did not buy a car and wrote me a receipt. So I complied. After talking with the accountant to negotiate a price, we could not come to an agreement. So I decided not to lease the car. I asked for my $ 50 back and the manager said it was locked in the safe so he couldn’t get it. He asked me to return the next day to get the money. When I returned he came up with another excuse, didn’t give me the money, and asked me to return another day. These people are criminals. Don’t do business with them. I will never buy or lease a car from them.

Called here & asked for the model we wanted. Person that answered the phone said «Yes– we have one here».
Got there and was passed off to a stupid clownish moronic babbling BAFOON salesman (that probably was recently fired from KFC for sealing french fries) to help us. This guy was a real loser in every way. A hopeless member of society. A pathetic jerk that was a failure at even ATTEMPTING to trick us! I cannot believe that this human vomit bag even made it this far in life and secured a job that was one rung above cleaning up after a parade or emptying trash bins from an abortion clinic. A real donut hole.
(Dammit– I did not get this parasite’s name either because it was before Unilocal!became a «basic brain function». LOL)
We asked about the car we wanted to see; he said «OK let me go see where it is».
We watched him walk around the lot for about 2 minutes and he tossed his hands up in the air like «Oh, I guess it’s not here» (and it was a poor acting job as well! Seemed like this has been his M.O. for years) .
So…
We were tricked to come down there.

THIS WAS A BAD SIGN so we left and on the way home stopped at Legend in Syosset. Everything went perfectly there– they got us the car we wanted and the salesman was patient & honest.

Looking for a car for my 20 year old son, we decided to go back to see Justin Stone at Legacy Nissan. This post dates back to Nov 29^th 2015 right after Thanksgiving. Justin was also the previous salesman when I traded in my 2010 Xterra.
To kind of narrow the story, we contacted Justin previously to let him know our intentions about looking for a lease or finance. Justin spent a decent amount of time with us giving us different options, prices and rules about leasing.
We decided it was more cost effective to get my son a brand new 2015 Sentra on a lease. With a small amount of money down reduced the lease payment for my son.
There was a small issue when we got to the financial person regarding a fee that was not previously discussed. We eventually had the dealership remove the fee and then they had to print out a new bill of sale which did take a while.
Over all, this was another easy transaction. My son is now 21, he has a brand new car with low payments for 3 years.
I would again recommend anyone looking for a vehicle purchase and don’t want to be hassled, Go see Justin Stone at Legacy.

Avoid your phone calls like the plague… STAY VERY VERY far away form this dealer!

Not a good experience! We called ahead to make sure the car we wanted was in stock. They said they had it and test drove a car that we thought was the one advertised– the car we actually drove was $ 5,000 more and when they gave us our quote it was not only ridiculous and insulting but an utter waste of an entire afternoon. Very dishonest and we will not be returning.

Came in just to find out price on a used car. All I wanted was a list price, no final, no bargaining price, just a simple list price. The sales person had to get my information before they can give a simple LIST PRICE then when I asked how come they don’t have a simple list price they said because depends on the customer! Really !!! Depends on the customer !!! OMG what a bunch of scammers. This place just wants to keep you there as long as possible and try to feel what your numbers are, so they can play with their numbers. Worst bunch of scammers the way I see this. I just walked out!!!

This place was awful. I got my used car here two years ago. They just want your money and don’t give a crap about you once you walk out that door. TERRIBLE customer service. They just transfer your call until someone says that person is in a meeting. I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. I took the plate frames that came bearing legacy Nissan off the car and threw them in the garbage.

Normally I hate car shopping, but the professional and friendly team at Legacy made my experience unforgettable. From the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out with your new car, (which they make sure of, unlike Garden City who didn’t even give me the time of day) the staff, especially Haley who was my sales consultant, had been so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this dealership to all who are looking for an easy breezy car shopping experience. THANKS HALEY

I recently purchased my car from this dealership and I had a less than marvelous experience with Steve Cottage. He is one of the most disgusting human beings I have encountered and does a terrible job representing this dealership. While going over my finance options Steve rushed me through the entire process. He made it seem like asking him a question would end his life. He even called me a «pain in the a**.» Now I am not sure what was going through his mind but that was not professional.
For two days Steve thought it was wise to tell me that we need to hurry this along so he can get home to his kids or her would «beat me up» and that he needed to go to a parent teacher conference. Quite frankly that is not my problem nor my concern. What makes it even worse is that the Genera Manager, Tom Coppola has done nothing in his power to contact me regarding this incident. This is not the way that you treat customers, especially those who have made a purchase. This is a great example of poor leadership and customer service.
STEVE COPPOLA is a disgrace to your dealership and he is an overall disgusting human being. If it wasn’t for Gary you guys would’ve never seen a dime from me!

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have serious doubts that the dealership is being run legally.
My husband and I obtained a lease. The first bill arrived at $ 20 more a month than our agreed-​upon contract price. After countless telephone calls to Melissa, of Accounting, and Mike Rich, a manager (nearly none of which were returned), my husband was instructed to sign a «refund» form which stated that he would receive a refund check of approximately $ 700 (i.e., $ 20/​month times the length of the lease). For questionable reasons, the dealership would not correct the monthly bill amount. Mr. Rich promised my husband that we would receive the refund check «by the end of the week» after signing the refund form. Weeks later we still had not received the refund check, despite countless more telephone calls to the dealership AND a complaint with the BBB.
I decided to make another in-​person trip to the dealership to demand the refund check, since the dealership obviously didn’t even care about a pending BBB complaint. Mr. Rich swore up and down that if I stopped by three days later – on a Thursday – he would definitely have the check for me. I reminded him that he had made such broken promises repeatedly over the past few months. Mr. Rich repeated that I stop by Thursday and that he would have the check for me.
Of course, there was no check ready for me on Thursday. No one could explain why the check wasn’t ready, except that «the owner needed to sign it.» However, when I asked FOUR separate employees for the owner’s name, NO ONE could give it to me. After I made quite a scene, sending employees scattering, another manager (his name was something like Mitchka) and Tom Coppola (sp?) both promised me that someone from the dealership would hand-​deliver the check to my home by the end of that day (i.e., Thursday). There was no check in my mailbox on Thursday or by Friday morning. I returned to the dealership on Friday, made another scene, and finally received the check in my hand.
In hindsight, I doubt the additional $ 20 added onto each of our monthly payments was «an accounting error» as the dealership claimed. The dealership’s refusal to correct our monthly bill supports this theory.

I recently leased the 2015 Nissan Rogue. It just came to my attention the cargo cover was not included in the deal. I called the salesman and was told to check the car’s sales sticker. The cargo cover was listed. Now I am fighting to get it with the service and sales departments.
They stink. Go to another dealer.

What an amazing experience when you walk into a car dealership and you are treated with the utmost respect, kindness and the professionalism of my sales rep., Steven Finkelstein Is an asset to Legacy. From beginning to end the transaction was smooth, easy and needless to say, I left very happy. I will recommend Mr. Finkelstein and Legacy and will be a repeat customer myself!

I had extremely bad experience today, worse dealer ever, salesperson Teana Ross, sales manager (did not gave his name) were agreed on a price, got deposit when time came to pick up the car, the price were different, they were lying through the teeth, than try to put me trough the finance when I specifically mention I don’t needed, then try to sell me oil change for 1400 dollars and on and on, very abrasive and rude, first time in my life I had a worse experience ever, would recommend stay away from the dealer and surprised how something like this can stay in business in New York

Not too many dealerships make you feel comfortable
Well this one did and also got me a great deal on financing. The selection was great I was looking for a used car and was open to multiple makes and models. I ended up buying a used rogue certified preowned. They also gave me kbb value for my trade in. Very pleased with the service.

After leaving Garden City Nissan we came here and got a 2012 Sentra for my daughter. Everyone here was gracious, knowledgeable and accommodating. No «hidden» fees and extra dealer costs. Our pre-​owned salesman Steven was great and so was his manager. Nice experience all the way around.

Worst dealer experience of my life. I called ahead to make sure they had the color I wanted. I was told he was looking at it in the lot. The first price he gave me would have included about $ 6,000 in interest for a 4 year loan of $ 23,000. The salesman failed to mention an incentive of 0% for a 5 year loan. An hour later, it turns out he made a mistake, they only had it with beige interior. Then they asked if they could pay me to be color blind, meaning they would lower the price if I took a car I didn’t want. I said no. They said they would try to find it at another dealership but couldn’t locate it. Nothing but lies for 90 minutes. Don’t ever go there. The good news is I found exactly what I wanted at Legend Nissan in Syosset. No hard sell, no lies and a fair price.

If you are lonely, consider sending an email to Legacy Nissan with some very specific questions. They won’t answer any of them, but they’ll call you every fifteen minutes.

–Brought my car (with auto-​start) to the Service Dept. to get an ignition key copied.
–The key is $ 45, and to make a key for an auto-​start car is $ 172 service
–They made the key but deprogrammed my auto-​start.
–They recommend another place to fix this, and took $ 25 off my bill… when it cost $ 75 to reprogram
–Bruce at the desk, took awhile to understand that but made things right by making a $ 200+ job actually $ 100 for their mess up.
–Still won’t be rushing back here.
Good:
–keys to be copied cost $ 45 as opposed to $ 100 at Millennium Nissan in Hempstead
–get there early and they take your car right in
–Bruce righted a wrong
Bad:
–Service department assumes EVERYBODY knows they are NOT located near the showroom
–Credit card machine was broken, they took your card info, charged it later and mailed a receipt…
–I had to have a drawn out conversation with Bruce to rectify my situation
–The manager who Bruce tried to pass me off to, never showed up at 9am as expected. I left at 10am and he still wasn’t there.

«Jerry» Gerassimos Alexatos is by far the worst general manager of any car dealership I have ever been in (and I have purchased a lot of cars). He is the most rude and uncaring person I have ever met.
This doesn’t surprise me as the rest of the people working there are rude and miserable as well. There are salesmen with their ties undone, not shaven, and are cursing when they speak. Not to mention how dirty the ceiling is and how loud they play the music.
Overall it was by far the worst car buying experience I have ever been involved with. That is why I decided not to purchase with Legacy and I have made sure to tell everyone I know never to use them.
Stay far away!!! The salesman told me that they would not take any money off the MSRP and that cars today «are more like retail» and there are «no negotiations». No wonder they didn’t sell any cars while i was there for almost 3 hours.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. After waking out and asking for the managers name they gave me a business card of someone that doesn’t work there anymore. A quick google search turned up the real name. What a bunch a lying scammers.

I was stalked by and approached by a salesman as I was parking the car. There’s a bad sign right there. Walking in the guy we made an appointment with pawned us off immediately on the stalker (I think his name was Howard).
Despite my explicit details on what I wanted, was started to get pressured into a more expensive car that wasn’t even on the lot for us to test drive or look at. Even if I didn’t sign for an unseen car that day, I was expected to give them a few hundred bucks to do a «search» and hold the car when they find it. I gave them all the information they wanted from me on my existing lease, but still got treated like a liar and was trying to hide something from them. I also got some random comments that were distinctly sexist. When we hesitated to sign, he went to get his manager. As he approached the desk I heard the salesman tell the manager that he took me at my word, implying I was a liar when I stated explicitly from the start we came in for ideas and not to walk away with a car that day.
It must suck for Neanderthals like that schmuck that women are allowed to spend money nowadays. Because, guess what? I’ll be spending it somewhere else. How do you like them apples? Ha. I don’t know why I even have to give one star for the review, they don’t deserve it.
The salt in the proverbial wound was when walking out of the building we found a random salesperson sitting on my car chatting to another customer. Really???
