Established in 1952.
Sometimes all it takes is one bright idea. Like creating functional designer furniture at affordable prices. That was the vision of the two Danish craftsmen Jens Ærthøj Jensen and Tage Mølholm who founded BoConcept back in 1952.
A Great Story:
The tradition for high-quality craftsmanship combined with functionality and simplicity were key success factors for Danish furniture design and production in the 1950s and the success also applied to BoConcept. Success in Denmark paved the way for exports and soon two craftsmen’s vision turned BoConcept from a small furniture factory into Denmark’s most global retail furniture chain with more than 260 successful franchise-driven Brand Stores in more than 60 countries.
