Dr. Glenn Sperbeck and his team of dental professionals have offered holistic dentistry services to Los Angeles for over 30 years. Dr. Sperbeck provides a range of services in cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry, TMJ treatment, and sedation dentistry. Serving in Westchester, CA, he works hard to create a complete dental and general health program for patients to not only create beautiful smiles, but also to improve a patient’s quality of life by offering treatment with safe materials and procedures.

Dr. Glenn Sperbeck, D.D.S., has an undergraduate degree in Biology from UCLA and graduated with honors from USC Dental School in 1982. Upon graduation from dental school, he established a private general practice in Westchester, California, with a focus on cosmetic restorative dentistry and the treatment of Temporo-​Mandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders.

Balancing his commitment to dentistry, Dr. Sperbeck thoroughly enjoys time with his family, reading (suspense) novels, fly fishing blue ribbon trout streams, and setting up camp before hiking the next picturesque mountain trail with camera in hand!

I don’t normally write reviews and when I do they are usually good reviews because I’ve had such an amazing experience. I have had such a hard time finding a good holistic dentist with integrity and I had such a bad experience just trying to book an appointment with this dentist that I have to give his office a poor review so others don’t waste their time booking.
I first called and left a voicemail because they were out of office and no one called me back. So I called again and was helped by Lijon with an attitude. She answered my questions but was trying to get off the phone as quickly as possible. Then when she answered my questions and I went to book my appointment she said there is a $ 100 deposit and they would charge my credit card today. I asked her why they would charge my credit card for a service that won’t occur for another month. I told her they should charge it on the day of the service. I think expecting patients to pre-​pay for a service is ridiculous and they are taking advantage of the consumer. I wouldn’t use this dentist, there is something here I just don’t trust.

If I could give less than one star I would.
I had a Mago splint made paying $ 1800 for it to be non-​toxic because I am very ill and have Multiple chemical sensitivity disorder as well as Lyme Disease. He swore I was getting top of the line non-​toxic. Paying as much as I did you would think it was. Going to a new dentist I find out my $ 1800 splint is ACRYLIC!!! So as I’m grinding away at night the toxic crap from this is filling my body. The whole reason I went to him was to get away from toxic dental practices!!!

He came recommended by my Naturopath. His staff are lovely to deal with. He’s very nice. The office is clean and updated. Parking is easy. The work thus far has been good. Had a root canal removed (not his work). Will never get one of those toxic babies again. Other than that… general cleaning. The only slight complaint is that it’s pricey, but all good Dentists are, and I think that is more about me under appreciating the importance of good dental health! PS The photos I see on Unilocal are old photos. His office has been nicely updated: wood floors etc.

This dentist is the best. He is very talented and his knowledge is up to date and even uses new technology. The people that clean the teeth (dental hygienists) are really good too. My Dad is a dentist on the east coast and he referred Dr. Sperbeck to me.

I hope someone can learn from my experience as seeing mr spurbeck was the biggest mistake of my life. This P.O.S. costed me so much money and pain. He failed to mention that using his methods would preserve the least amount of tooth. He flat out lied and said they should last close to my lifetime. He failed it didn’t last ONE month !!! He is a quack dentist scam artist because one month later I’m being woken up in the middle of the night from pain. I’ve slept through every earthquake and never wake up in the middle of the night until now. I wake up multiple times a night sweating with a pounding head because this spurbeck character left a large amount of material between my teeth making it difficult to floss and impossible not to cause an infection and cavity. The other thing this monster worked on was my bottom teeth which also have to be fixed by a REAL PROFESSIONAL. It should have lasted 40 years by his estimation but getting it checked out a month later proved there is a huge crack in the filling he made and needs to be replaced this has been painful the whole time so he didn’t do it right the first time… He didn’t even get close. He also decided not to take an Xray after he did his work which seems very suspicious. He makes such an obscene income from his terrible work that he puts a $ 400 beats by dre headset (which he loves to brag about) so you can watch Netflix in your chair and not think about the horrible work are the insane prices. He had me get a separate expensive proceedure done to see which materials my body likes which was a toothpaste from CVS… is he REALLLY holistic? No it’s just a scam to make you feel better. This dentist is a joke I wish it was funny. I had everything else he recommended done at a real holistic dentist who actually cares about people and she saved me so much money which by the way is the least of my concerns. Dental health being so important to me, if I didn’t fix/​redo spurbecks inferior work. He also likes to brag about never having a cavity. I’ve been in constant pain for a month and am completely broke due to mr spurbeck he’s the worst of the worst. Btw I wish he could get zero stars one is too much.

Dr Sperbeck and his absolutely exceptional staff took me in on an emergency situation for a infected old root canal. The moment I walked in the beautiful and immaculate office my conditioned dread of going to the dentist was gone. The energy of joy from people that love what they do is intoxicating and so healing. The treatment I received from Dr Sperbeck was simply enlightened. His un rushed approach in taking time to discuss and review every detail was only outdone by his gifted and masterful touch. Dr Sperbeck is one of the very few people in my life that have really impressed me with such conscious dedication and caring of his work and clients.

Dr. Sperbeck is wonderful. He really cares and goes above and beyond to help you. I had gum pain related to mercury toxicity that noone else had been able to help me with. He used natural and nutritional methods that most other dentists don’t seem to even know about to help me get better. I’m grateful to have been referred to him.

Yesterday, Dr. Sperbeck and Renettra, his assistant,
completed my bridge work… My bridge is beautiful… Boy, was I happy with the out-​come…
In fact, I was happier than a sissy in a weiner factory…
Renettra was very thorough in explaining the importance of consistent proper gum care and highly recommended that I purchase a HYDRO-​FLOSS…
She was not trying to up-​sell, just simply concerned about keeping my gums healthy and extending the life of my bridge…
Well, happy to report: I purchased the HYDRO-​FLOSS and let me just tell you, best thing since slice-​bread & high-​heel shoes!!! I think everyone should have one. It irrigates and cleans your gums like you cannot even imagine… Removes trapped food particles, etc. And super-​duper for those hard to floss and sensitive areas… Might I add: Very easy to use… Not complicated…
After using the HYDR-​FLOSS your gums and mouth speak out, thank-you…Your mouth feels happy & friendly… It just simply promotes healthy gums and good oral hygiene.Dr. Sperbeck and Renittra, You’ll be pleased to know, since I left your office yesterday morning, I have used my HYDRO-​FLOSS 5-times…(smile) I’ve fallen in love with my HDRO-FLOSS…We are inseparable… Wish they made one for your purse…

I have been to many Dentists over the years and Dr. Sperbeck is by far the best one I have ever seen. I have been seeing him for a few years now and every time I have a procedure done, it is done with excellence beyond my expectations. What I love about him is that he uses biocompatible material that is a perfect match for my teeth and gums, so there is never any bad reaction to the procedures I have done. Also, the sterilization techniques with laser and ozone give me peace of mind, knowing that he is properly killing all the bacteria hiding in those little cracks and crevices. He is always attending the latest cutting edge seminars that puts his practice above the others. He also made me a night guard that is the best one I have ever had. I love this thing. It is so comfortable that when I wake up in the morning, I don’t want to take it out. Last week, I accidently dropped it out of my medicine cabinet and it broke in two as it hit the hard tile floor. I was devastated. I then went to sleep that night without the guard. That very night, my front tooth cracked because I was not wearing my guard (I grind my teeth pretty hard when I sleep). I called Dr. Sperbeck that morning and his friendly staff (they are extremely caring and efficient– a great combination!) informed me that Dr. Sperbeck’s schedule was slammed that day, but due to the nature of my problem, they squeezed me in on my lunch break. Dr. Sperbeck not only repaired the cracked tooth in a heartbeat with a non-​toxic and very firm bonding material but he even repaired my guard so I did not have to make a new one. That’s what I love about this guy. He has the best technology, the best techniques and he is very honest and trustworthy. He could have said I needed another guard and it was irreparable, but he always has my best interest at heart. I have sent my entire family over to see him (we have to drive 32 miles round trip to see him) and everyone I know looking for a Dentist. They all say the same things about him. I probably should not be saying this, but I saw the actor Mel Gibson at his office about 6 months ago. It does not surprise me that the Hollywood stars go to see him– he is the best! I have thought about re-​locating my family and business to another state, but one of the things that prevents me from doing so would be having to find another Dentist that provides the same quality Dentistry as Dr. Sperbeck. There is no one else out there like him that practices Dentistry the way he does and I am so thankful to God that I have found him.

Best holistic dentist in LA. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I experienced a lot of bad dentists in the past including wrong removal of mercury without proper medical devices and protection, and a Timor in my mouth. I have been searching and searching and finally I found a home. Dr Sperbeck goes to great heights to protect the patient from any chemicals and has studied beyond dentistry. He was the first dentist that told me my fillings were actually plastic (BPA) which is horrible toxicity for the body. He is the first dentist that talks in terms of longevity. If you’re going to live til 100 years old and they put in cheap plastic fillings that you have to change every five years they means a lot of costs and pain! Instead he put in fillings that will kart a lot longer and very few changes in between. He removed a root canal that was causing a lot of harm to my body and it was virtually painless. I am so happy I found Dr Sperbeck and recommend you try him out he will not only help you live a great life but he’s a joy to be around Along with his wonderful staff!

Dr. Sperbeck and his staff are great. He is really concerned about his patients’ well being, and also a nice guy. He uses the latest computer technology and equipment in the dental field, and offers a holistic approach to dental health and treatment. He uses ozone disinfectant and treatment which is cutting edge technology. His staff are always friendly and caring. The little one-​story office looks very 1960’s-ish, on a small street that looks like small town America. The dental hygienist, Giovanna is very thorough and the best hygienist I have ever had. After my last visit, my teeth feel like they are cleaner then they have ever been, and she showed me how to brush and floss properly. She is very knowledgeable and explained what I need to do to keep my teeth for a long time. The front desk staff is very courteous and helpful also, and helpful with payment options. I am very happy with Dr. Sperbeck.

I have been a regular patient of Dr. Sperbeck’s since a friend recommended him to me back around 1991. Dr. Sperbeck is knowledgeable and yet friendly. He really does have the latest in dental discoveries and he keeps a blog to educate interested patients. His staff has always been wonderful. The neighborhood where the office is looks as if it was a 1960’s movie set and yet a jets soaring overhead will remind you that you are only a mile or so away from LAX. I highly recommend him and his staff.

A friendly, gentle and caring dentist who takes a comprehensive, holistic approach to dentistry and is interested in the long term health of your mouth.
His office is state-​of-​the-​art, and he takes pride in constantly honing his craft, even after 25 years in the business. He does most of his lab work in-​house, and specializes in TMJ solutions among other things, and will find the source of mouth problems so they can be solved rather than using short-​term fixes.
I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my mouth!
