This is a great please always serve fresh donuts and pies and Nareida is wonderful she is very friendy best service!

We’ve lived in Westchester for years and never been here. There are seriously three or four Dunkin Donuts within a two mile radius of our house. I am not a fan of DD and rarely go there, plus I try to avoid donuts. Anyway, Wally’s is great. The apple fritters are seriously amazing. I stopped by here on a whim and was very, very pleasantly surprised. Incredibly nice owners! This is now my go to place for donuts.

Wally’s Donuts are the best! Great prices, great donuts and great people! The Owner is the best he is very nice, He really care for his business.

Owner is a really nice man and remembers your order. I like that they have more variety in their breakfast menu than a typical dunkin donuts.

I love a good, fresh, homemade donut, and have enjoyed exploring different bakeries over the past several years in Chicagoland (as you can see from my other reviews). As such, Wally’s has been on my list for a while, and when I found myself in that area a few weeks ago, my friend and I stopped in for a visit.
Honestly, I was completely underwhelmed. We ordered a few apple fritters and some cake donuts. The fritters were heavy and tasted old and stale. The cake donuts were okay, but we’re on the same level as what you’d get at Dunkin Donuts. I don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon.

I use to love doughnut’s. What happen?
The story behind how Wall’s turned from Dunkin’ Donuts to Wally’s is interesting. It’s the MAIN reason why I try to stop in here once a year but usually don’t find myself in love with the doughnuts. I guess the same reason why I usually don’t go to Dunkin’ Donuts is the same reason why I don’t come here. Doughnuts are just okay. Nothing new, special on the menu. Despite knowing the doughnuts are fresh, They don’t exactly seem that way to me.
Customer service is always nice and courteous.

Wanted a mom and pop donut shop instead of the Dunkin donuts that are everywhere. The apple fritter was very cinnamony and delicious. It wasn’t crisp enough on the edges for my preference though. The coffee was great! I also liked the buttermilk donut. All in all a good place. I’m a bit of a fritter snob that’s why I give 3 stars

Love the coffee, love the bagels and love the donuts. What more can I say. The owner and his wife are so wonderful and pleasant. AND they remember you!!! It is so pleasant to be able to get my quick breakfast fix and have a great chat with someone who really isn’t just making small talk. Such a great way to start the day.

The donuts and muffins are very fresh and the coffee is excellent. I have to note that the muffins are those large ones that usually cost over $ 3 (these are only $ 1.50!!) This place has that friendly hometown feel unlike the big competitors. I was also interested in their Mediterranean treats and they let me sample a savory spinach pie that was out of this world! I will definitely be a regular customer

Had a fresh cake donut and coffee. Kids had fun. :) we will come back. Owner gave us fresh flowers!

Can’t emphasize how good these donuts are. I used to go to Dunkin all the time but the locations no longer make fresh donuts so now the quality is poor. This is a great neighborhood gem that’s still making them fresh and yummy, good coffee and nice customer service. Definitely a family owned business and very welcoming people. They also have Mediterranean spinach pies that are great to eat there or even on the go. They’re like a meal in your hand and are great even if you hear them up later. Just an overall great spot that anyone in the area NEEDS to try at least once, and then you’ll definitely be hooked!

I really wanted to be able to come back and write a review that was on par with some of the others that I’ve read thus far but unfortunately I can’t do that. I read the review by Paula P. and my nephew, who has been a Westchester resident longer than me, confirmed that this used to be a Duncan donuts and that he pretty much uses the same recipe as them. I am not a big fan of DD when it comes to donuts. I’ve had worse but I’ve definitely had better.
When I first walked in I was greeted by the owner who was sitting down at a table with a young lady that I would assume was his granddaughter. He said «good morning» and I replied with the same. I approached the counter and then was greeted by a young man who asked who asked me what I’d like. The owners wife appeared to be working the drive-​thru and gave me a warm smile as I glanced over the selection. The place had a real welcoming feel and although it was my first time I quickly noticed the relationship the owner had with his regulars. Its one of those neighborhood places I could see coming back to after being away from home for a while.
As I looked around I didn’t seem to see any of the savory pies which was one of the biggest reasons I came here. With it being so early in the morning and me not being accustomed to eating anything with spinach in it that early, I didn’t inquire as to where they were. I decided I’ve save them for another experience since there are a couple more donuts I want to try.
This being my first visit I decided to play it safe and go with something that really lets me know whether or not I want to try any of the others or keep it moving and that’s the cinnamon roll and a jelly donut. Now I don’t know about most of you but if I’m going to have something like a donut instead of a much healthier alternative then I want it to be worth the guilt I might feel later. The cinnamon roll, for its size, barely had a layer of icing on it. Sure the top was completely covered but it was a mere thin layer of icing. I’m not saying it has to be suffocated like they do at Cinnabon but I want a little more than what I got. I’ve had better out of gas stations. I got two of these and had no desire to finish the other one.
The jelly donut I did enjoy. There was just enough jelly on the inside to compliment the rest of the soft doughy outside. Nothing to write home about but definitely good enough to satisfy the crave. Based on how much I liked it, I’ll be trying something similar next time along with a pie or two or three.
For now this a 3 star donut shop.

Very pleasant woman behind the counter and very inexpensive donuts. Otherwise nothing new, I liked their spinach pie and their strawberry sprinkle donut was my favorite.

In addition to your standard-​fare donut shop coffee and donuts, they serve unique and delicious Mediterranean savory items including spicy and tangy spinach pies, fresh oregano-​laced cheese pies, zaatar (middle-​eastern herb mix), and chicken and meat pies as well. These things are like crack. Once you try them you will be addicted and find yourself back regularly to get your fix.
The owner husband and wife team are super nice and make you feel at home, often offering non-​menu home made items to sample.
A break from you traditional donut shop and definitely worth a visit.

I’ve had their spinach and cheese pies and love them! The spinach is so flavorful! My husband really likes their za’tar pies. Some mediterranean flavor in a donut shop!

Yes, this was a Dunkin Donuts. Although DD corporate had agreed to allow him to not sell the pork products for religious reasons, they apparently went back on that agreement, defranchised him and then took him to court for little things. I have found the owner to be a very nice man, who really remembers his customers (even asked about my granddaughter’s cough when I went there a week later without her). The product is fresh and if you order something right when they are finishing a batch, they will give you the chance to wait for the fresh batch to finish. One day we were there when his wife had just made a batch of felafel, which they do not sell, but they gave us a bagful just to be generous. (They were good and they might consider selling them). I have found the doughnuts, cinnamon rolls and bagels to be very good.

EXCELLENT coffee and donuts. I pass this place on my way to work and I decided to try it. I was really surprised, its such a small place and I never see anybody inside. I got 2 donuts and a coffee for $ 3.07 with tax.

I stopped here for a chocolate cake donut and a small cup of coffee. They were both pretty good. I think I paid about $ 2.60. The donut was really tasty, and had great frosting. The coffee was not as good as Starbucks or DD, but still serviceable.
The owner behind the counter was super nice. There were reproduced Chicago Tribune articles displayed about how he broke from DD over religious differences to launch his own pork-​free donut shop. Go on with your bad self, religious dude!
In conclusion, I think this place is pretty good if you’re in the Westchester area and need a standard donut/​coffee combo for not a lot of money. No new culinary ground is being broken here, but if you just need your fat, sugar, and caffeine fix for the morning, it certainly hits the spot.
