So the commercials and coupon for their«gyros» peaked my curiosity and got me in the door. I ordered the turkey«gyro» meal and sipped root beer while I waited for fresh onion rings(yippee!). When I got my food home, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the«gyro.» The pita was full of their thin sliced turkey, lettuce, tomatoes, onions(consider asking for extra), and tzatziki sauce. While the meat was, in my opinion, overly seasoned(it kinda clumps), the sauce lacked any strong flavor and was seriously runny. The pita was, however, pillowy good and filling. In the end it was worth a try!

I’ve been here several times now(for a workday lunch with Sweetie) and it’s not bad, not bad at all. Arby’s is not my first choice for food– fast food in general isn’t my first choice– but if I gotta get fast food Arby’s is pretty decent. This location is pretty easy to get in and out of, the service has always been good, and the food is pretty good. I usually get a big sandwich(reuben, brisket, etc.,) and she gets a junior roast beef. I find the sandwiches generally pretty average, but the sides are impressive for a fast food place. The fries, onion rings, etc., seem much better than those at burger joints. This time I tried the«King’s Hawaiian BLT.» Basically a big roast beef sandwich, nothing special about the meat. But the add-ons for this one are great: good bacon, fresh tomato and lettuce, and a nice bun. I was impressed. I had curly fries, and we shared some cheese pretzel bites(meh.) All in all, better than average fast food, at a decent price, and a nice place.
