Was disappointed with my Sherwin-Williams experience. I went in to get the paint color for my front door. I live in a condo community, so the color should have been easy to find. A younger teenage employee was helping me. First, he told me he couldn’t find the color. I specifically said«Merlot». He tells me he can’t find that color. I describe it as a «burgundy-like color». Again, he tells me no. I go to double check my records, then go back to the store a few minutes later, insisting that he check again. Twenty minutes later, I figure out that he thought I said«yellow» instead of merlot. I also found that he couldn’t find my community name because he was only looking back in the system for the past couple of years. When I ask him, «You can only look back to 2010?» He finally says, «Well, I can look back to 2008, I think.» Why do I have to ask that? Furthermore, I was so flustered and frustrated, I didn’t realize he gave me flat paint, which has to be perfectly applied. My door shows a few streaks which I’m going to have to paint over again. I was completely irritated – I’d never shop there again.
