History
Established in 1988.
In compliance with State legislation approved in 1967 and 1980, the City of Westerville enacted a city ordinance in 1987 that would allow for the creation of the Westerville Visitors & Convention Bureau. The WVCB was formed and incorporated in March of 1988 and today has an annual operating budget averaging approximately $ 80,000.00. Forty percent of those funds come from the lodging taxes collected at Westerville’s hotels and Bed & Breakfast. The rest comes from fundraisers and membership support. An independent Board of Trustees governs the WVCB
