Elegant Image Salon

The old salon was very clean and homey feeling but the new salon is absolutely amazing. It feels like you’re at a resort on vacation somewhere. Very clean and modern looking. Absolutely gorgeous.
I get my hair done by Hillary who is awesome. Takes her time to make sue you walk out looking like a million bucks. Prices are incredibly reasonable and all the other employees are extremely friendly and welcoming.
Would DEFINITELY recommend coming here.

This is a hidden gem. Got a great cut that fixed a bad one I had 3 weeks prior and a nice relaxing appointment. It is a good atmosphere and great cuts! Claudia is awesome.

Excellent! I got my hair cut here today and am definitely going back. I was very anxious because the same woman had been cutting my hair since I was 5, but I don’t live near that salon anymore. I also wanted to try a new style and was nervous I wouldn’t like it. I ended up donating my hair and getting it cut even shorter than I wanted to, and Crystal did an amazing job! Definitely 2 thumbs up!

If you have curly hair, you know that finding that ‘special someone’ to treat your temperamental ‘do with love is a rare and treasured find. I am pleased with how great of a job Crystal has done with evening out the havoc that has been wreaked on my thick, curly hair after a well meaning stylist took to it with an enthusiastic pair of scissors. I do not color my hair, and so it’s just wash, cut, style. In regard to the interior: let’s just be real here, it doesn’t matter how amazing a place looks if they mess up your hair, so I am glad that this little, unassuming storefront is a keeper. I will continue to come back to Crystal for a solid curly hair cut that doesn’t cost the price of my arm and left kidney. Also, she’s pleasant and funny and patiently answers my endless questions about hair products. The whole staff is friendly and nice.

I bought a Groupon for Elegant Image Salon years ago, made an appointment with Amanda, and have been coming back ever since. All the women at the salon are so friendly that it makes every time I go enjoyable. And Amanda is wonderful with my hair– I trust her to make decisions and I am never disappointed.

Love this place! Used one of the deals from Unilocal so this place is also affordable but they are amazing at what they do! Also everyone is very very nice here! Def going back!

I have been coming to Elegant Image for what seems like over 10 years now! The owner Claudia first started doing my hair when I was in middle school and has been there every step of the way for me through high school proms, hair cuts when I was home from college and graduate school and now as a full time working professional home for the holidays.
I have trusted the Elegant Image team with my hair for so long, which is why I keep going back! Claudia does such a nice job that it makes it worth it for me to hold out on getting my hair done for a few extra weeks for until I am in town visiting with family. The salon is small and had a family feel environment. This is why I love it! No other place in Westfield is so down to earth and cares as much about their customers as Elegant Image. The prices are great and keep me coming back! Highly recommended!!!

I’ve been coming here now for awhile and felt I should update my review.
I really love this hair salon. I feel very welcomed from the first time I came here. They always have coffee brewing.
This is not your typical beauty shop.
The owner Claudia is so amazing! She runs this salon like all her employees are family.
Everyone is extremely respectful of one another and all the beauticians help each other out. Whether it’s washing someone’s hair or helping with blow drying. Your won’t find any cut throat people here. All the girls are very polite and friendly. They all have experience and I feel they truly listen to their clients. These girls really enjoy what they do, and they never make you feel like they don’t want to be there.
Crystal does beautiful highlights, especially on blondes along with many other things. Amanda does great blowouts and intricate braiding. Claudia does everything along with bridal parties. They all cut men’s hair, children’s hair and straightening treatments too. They use really good quality products on your hair. They really do a terrific job.
Elegant Image is known for a lot of repeat clientele. Once someone is a customer they seem to return again and again. Many have been coming here for years. I know this only because when I’m here I talk to other customers to get their opinion.
This salon is very down to earth. What makes it special is it’s small and very comfortable. If your looking for a high buck fancy salon experience then this place isn’t for you. If you want a good haircut, or color and simple waxing. Then by all means please try them. This salon is very fairly priced compared to all the salons in Westfield. I always make an appointment, but they will except walk-​ins if their not busy. You can park on the street, or park in a lot next to the car wash for free after 12:30p.Thats a big plus especially for Westfield where they nickel and dime you on the parking.
I will definitely be returning.

If your looking for a friendly very reasonable hair salon this is the place! Everyone is friendly, great music as your hair gets done;) and the best part of this salon is the VERY TALENTED Crystal! She really is amazing, she takes time with you and does a wonderful job. I had a coloring and trim an blow dry. After 30 years trying to find the *right* hair stylist I finally found her! If you want quality ask for Crystal!

I got partial highlights and a haircut.
Crystal worked on my color and hair cut for a very long time. She and the rest of the staff were lovely, friendly and charming. I can’t stress how nice and hardworking these girls are, and they are young and cute.
Crystal was really responsive and gave me a lot of attention.
The blowout she gave me made the awesome haircut she gave me look horrible and I went home and was miserable until I washed my hair. Then I was totally impressed with how it looked and I am seriously thinking of going back to her.
I will say that this place looks really dingy– I am not a snob, but I am used to salons being really nicely decorated and this was downscale.
All I can say is that this spot is a diamond in the rough and their prices are reasonable. If you live in the area and are not a snob you may want to check this place out because they do a good job.

I’ve been going to Elegant Image Salon for about the past 9 months. Being a man, it can sometimes be awkward to walk into a salon in Westfield because the customers and stylists can be snooty. This is not the case at all at Elegant Image. Claudia, the owner is very down to earth as is the rest of her staff. She always gives me a great cut (and color too, I admit it). The prices are very reasonable for Westfield too.

Was looking for a new salon after a hair fiasco 2 weeks before my wedding! Purchased the groupon for a cut, color and blow out.
The location? EW. Interior? Small and dismal. Quaint would be a stretch.
The color? LOVED. The cut? I showed her a picture and my hair? Looks nothing like said photo. SHE CHOPPED MY HAIR! I asked for an angled cut keeping the length in the front and there was no length left – literally cut 4 ½ inches. It may not be a lot for some but my hair is fine and grows super slow and I am NOT happy. Also added a «U» shaped style to the back to show the darker color I already had underneath? Just weird. I guess you get what you pay for.
And what blowout? I was flat ironed! Straighten thin hair? No no… I need volume from a salon… NEXT!
The only plus was that the staff was very nice and seemed welcoming but everything else just wasn’t pulling in their favor. Sorry.

I came here because I’d bought a Groupon for cut and color — so this was my first time here… Amanda was my stylist and I thought that she was great. I went in with dull looking hair and left with great color and super shiny hair. The salon itself is relatively «no-​frills» but for the quality of the service, I don’t care what the salon looks like. I’ll definitely be going back.

I usually spend top dollar on my hair, but with a coupon for a free haircut with my Hometown Quarterly card, I couldn’t resist. I was very impressed. Amanda was so sweet and did an awesome job on my hair. I have long hair and she gave me the «Kim Kardashian look». I left there feeling like they really cared about me as a customer and loving my hair. It just goes to show that a fancy place and high prices, doesn’t always mean a great experience. It’s all about who does your hair. The people there are skilled and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.
