Sweet Kiwi Frozen Yogurt

This place has gone down hill fast. When it opened it was clean, we’ll lit and the flavors were diverse and good. Over the past year or so the quality has dropped greatly. The flavors are typically just the standards now and all seem to have either a chemical aftertaste or are so bland you need to drown them in the overpriced, ramshackle toppings.

If you advertise that you sell Bubble/​Boba Tea, then you should probably have it. The teenager looked at me like I had 3 heads when I inquired about the tea. He didn’t seem to care that their website incorrect or when I made my signature sad face, sigh and slowly walk out (sometimes it works). I gave it 2 stars because there were a lot of toppings available.

My kids love this place. I’m not a huge fan of ice cream or frozen yogurt but with all the toppings it’s more like having a sundae. Parking is good and the staff are friendly.

Meh at best.
I sampled the cake batter which had an off butterscotch note and tasted nothing like cake batter. I also sampled the cheesecake, which also tasted nothing like it. Since I was given an off look when I asked to try samples in the first place I thought I’d stop asking.
I grabbed a cup, which is intentionally huge so you have no concept of how much you are buying, put a small squirt of each chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. Add a light sprinkle of m&ms and I spent $ 4.35!!!
For the money I should have gone to market market and bought a container of Ben & Jerrys.
The yogurt was meh at best. Plus the addition of screaming young children running rampant around the store really sealed the rating on this place.
My vote is go to Market Basket instead.

I’m not sure the frozen yogurt fad will survive the next ten years, but I’m definitely a fan of this place. Located near Five Guys and Rangoli in Cornerstone Square, the place reminds me of the restaurant in Cloud Atlas.
Where Sweet Kiwi wins me over other pay-​by-​the-​pound frogurt shacks is the ability to add a half dozen fruity boba to your masterpiece. The sweet tapioca balls that you usually find in bubble tea is the perfect complement to almost any concoction.
There’s also a host of gummy and chocolate add-​ons if that’s more your thing.

It’s a shame that this place isn’t better as the location is terrific. Honestly I want to like this place but it’s just not that good. I’ve come here about 6 times in the past 2 months to give it a fair shot and can’t give it more than 2 stars.
Let’s start with the place itself. It had a «sour milk» odor 4 out of the 6 times I went here. The place is fairly clean but still has spills and stains that don’t get cleaned up. Add to it that things are «sticky» and again… cleanliness is not the top priority.
Toppings: very limited here. Fruits are basic and have been sitting out all day, some candy and only one type of nut (walnuts). A few token random other toppings (cereal, granola)…overall, not impressive at all. The boba are gooey and not that great compared to others.
Yogurt: The yogurt itself is «good». Some of the flavors are spot on but others are way off and lacking. 4 out of 6 times the yogurt was at the right temp but the other 2 it was slightly melted which was a disappointment.
Overall this place is «ok» and good to go to if you want Fro Yo badly after grabbing food in the plaza. But there are better options out there.
