Funcho’s Fajita Grill

My kids and I love it here. The food is constantly yummy and fair in price. It’s a perfect place to grab a quick bite with children.

Funcho’s is my favorite place to grab a filling, reasonably priced and swiftly prepared Mexican lunch or dinner.

Not really sure about this place or how they still remain open. The food is nothing to write about, service is so-​so and their location, well you’ve got to stumble upon them in the courtyard off Main Street.
Wouldn’t revisit as it was a nothing first experience.

I ordered a burrito with shrimp and then the guy read it back to me correct. I then brought it home no shrimp no cheese nothing i asked for. The one in Riverhead is really bad too. They screw up orders all the time
Management are incompetent

I take the kids here for lunch all the time. It’s mainly outside take-​out seating. The food is basic american-​mexican. But it’s cheap and plentiful and the kids love it. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Great Mexican food in Westhampton at affordable prices. Everything on the menu is great — it’s enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, gluten-​free friendly menu items and Mexican soda. Family business with friendly service.

I honestly fell in love with this place. The crew is nice and they’re food is always delicious. Unfortunately I always go there when I’m absolutely famished and scarf down the taco without fully appreciating the beauty of it and uploading a pic to Unilocal (so sorry). However I have tried their burrito which is gi-​freaking –normous and the fish tacos which are very good as well. They also have authentic Mexican sodas. Some are much sweeter than others. Like the fruity ones in the glass bottles are waaayy too sweet. Unless of course you love sweet things, then by all means go for it. I go for the nonalcoholic sangria. That wasn’t too sweet and it was different. So yes. Go for it all!

Quite disappointed by a hair I found in my chicken burrito… Place came recommended and the food was quite good until I found the hair. I just couldn’t get past that.

Quick, fresh tex mex. Had the west coast fish taco and the east coast shrimp taco, both were good. Prices are reasonable, a great casual lunch with outside seating in a quiet courtyard. Nothing fancy, just good, solid food. A bit messy, so grab some extra napkins!

Cheap. Fresh food in Westhampton. Clean and with personality. They have a wide selection of drinks as well. They keep there prices steady all year which is unusual in the Hamptons

We are addicted. Casual, fast service, great prices, great food, it’s just fantastic!
At least once a week, I order a Mexicano salad with chicken in a tin. For $ 10, it’s HUGE!!! Spring mixed greens topped with corn, black beans, salsa, chicken and avocado, all topped with a delicious lime vinaigrette. It’s such a satisfying salad, I’m hooked!
The tacos are also fantastic, as are the burritos. You really can’t go wrong!!!

Good mexican food at reasonable prices. Their chili is great. Quesidillas are good too. Everything always tastes very fresh.

Come on, people! Lighten up! Fast food is fast food and fast food service is fast food service. There are worse places to eat and shop where even the owners are really rude and don’t genuinely care about their customers. While I don’t understand the 1 and 2 star reviews, I would not necessarily rate Funcho’s as a high end gourmet establishment either. It’s a nice, little restaurant with good food. Leave it at that. I found my way here because I was driving by and I was ready for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised and rewarded for my effort. The food is very tasty.

Always happy when I get the pollo burrito! Boyfriend got a compilation platter which had a little bit of everything — he was equally happy.
Price is pretty good (two entrees and two beverages for about $ 30, not bad!)
If you’re looking for fast and fresh in Westhampton Beach this is the place.

Good steak tacos. Everything else on our table was thrown out. The fish tacos had no taste as well as the chicken tacos. The burrito was very disappointing and was very bland. The black beans were tasty except for the glob of cheese melted on top. Why do they serve the tacos upside down with the platter? Don’t bother with this place.

I’ve experienced better, but I’ve experienced a LOT worse.
I have only done take out from Funcho’s, and their casual Mexican menu usually yields large, simple and tasty convenient meals for a reasonable price. They only get two stars largely due to inconvenient hours. Why don’t they stay open later? There is also an unfortunate devolution into mass chaos near closing time as people try to get in last minute orders and learn that the restaurant is out of almost everything. If you are going to close early, at least be able to properly serve customers until your actual closing time…

Fresh stewed tomatoes on a taco was good! Not little chopped flavorless ones.
Not sure how this was $ 1.50 and had chopped fresh cilantro in the lettuce, and no charge for sour cream — but it was. The kids were in all in there and me!
No one else was over 18 in there. Happy to be there. :)

Average quality but if you are hungry this will do in a pinch. We went in January when most other places were closed.

Great food here! It’s definitely more like real mexican food compared to something like Taco Bell. It’s made pretty quickly and is located right near westhampton beach.

I don’t see what’s so great about this place. It’s like cafeteria meets Tex-​mex. Location wise, well… it could be better. Most people would probably pass by the place since you would have to walk down an alley in order to see the entrance. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a creepy NYC alley way. It’s actually a cute alley way where other clothing boutiques and smoothie shops are located. Parking is OK depending on the day since the only parking would be on the street.
But besides that, the food isn’t all that great (to be honest). I don’t think there’s any woah factor in the food. I guess I was really hoping that the food would be authentic, but it’s not what I got. I just felt as if I was eating better quality taco bell. I know, I know… I’m so harsh when it comes with the food, but hey… people have been raving about this place and it really disappointed me. Price and portion wise were very reasonable. Quality is ok… but I just feel as if it’s lacking a little… I don’t know. It just didn’t feel like Mexican Cuisine.
Service wasn’t that great either. You came in, ordered, picked a table, then you had to get up and get your food. There wasn’t a variety of drinks to choose from especially if you don’t feel like drinking alcohol.
The place itself was very warm. I don’t think they had their AC on. There weren’t many tables to choose from either. They had maybe 7 tables inside (I think 4 of them for couples) and maybe 3 outside tables fit for groups of 5 – 7 people.
My experience wasn’t that great. I hope yours will be better. I would rather travel far in order to get to the nearest Chipotle since i think their food is better.
