This in n out is always great but today I felt so inclined to write a review because Jonathan was such a gem at the drive thru window. Exhausted from a day of surfing, and then spending a stupid amount of time in traffic, I was starting to get irritable and on top of that hungry! But his smiling face and sweet demeanor totally cheered me right up! Thank you in n out and Jonathan! You both rule.

Nice and clean. Good food as always. Not as busy as other In-N-Outs I’ve been to, so that’s nice. This one is located inside a strip mall, but it’s really pretty with the buildings decorated with rocks outside. Be wary of the rocks in the parking lot though. I didn’t notice a huge one behind my car as a decoration, and I backed straight into it and dented my car. :(

When our office moved to it’s new location, the buzz was all about being next to In-N-Out. I don’t get the hype. They have a decent burger but I’m not a fan of their fries & a good burger needs good fries. In-N-Out is like Starbucks to me… I just don’t understand why people flock to them when there are numerous other comparable, if not better places from which to choose. Anyway, I’ll get off my soapbox now & continue. Yesterday, 2 of my coworkers invited me to join them for lunch at In-N-Out. I had a lot of work but decided it wouldn’t kill me to eat lunch away from my desk at least 1 day this week. We walked over, stood in line, placed our orders(I got my fries Animal Style, per recommendations of others when I said I didn’t care for I-N-O fries) & got our food in about 15 minutes. My cheeseburger with everything but onions was good, the beef patty seasoned perfectly but the Animal Style fries… meh. Still the same fries. Hard on the outside, dry inside… they were like brittle twigs, topped with grilled onions, 1000 island dressing & lukewarm melted American cheese that was already semi-congealed by the time I took the tray to my seat. This kills me because their fries always look sooooo good! I may be a bad Californian but I-N-O just isn’t for me. Even though they have a tasty burger, many other places do as well… with fries that rock. Service was friendly, wait time for food was a little long for a burger but was In-N-Out at lunch… i.e. BUSY

I came in right at the start of the lunch rush 11:45 am. Friendly cashier and food took 13 minutes to be ready. It was hot and fresh. Plenty of seats inside and outside with a few.

Oy, this is the third time we have experienced raw hamburger meat at this location. :-(Today I went through the drive through, only live a mile away, but imagine our disappointment when we bit into our burgers and they were not done. :’( The drive through and restaurant did not seem too busy, so I was surprised that the cashier Christina seemed rushed as did the other window person, he was giving out the food. It was around 11:25 a.m. Sorry, we will not return to this location. Hope you can get it working Westlake Village! We love our town and you have a great location. :-) Now to get the burgers done!

Been here 3 – 4 times now, and I find this particular location slower than other locations. Not sure why though. Love that everything is freshly made and doesn’t taste like fast food to me. My usual is a cheeseburger meal. Never disappoints!

I know, I know. In and out is the BOMB! BUT! If you make the Mistake Of going inside to order, 2 full drive thru lines will have got food and you may STILL be waiting! But every location may vary, or every MOD at the time also makes a huge difference! That was my last unexpected bad experience. I really do love the food! I mean SUPERYUMMY! Usually I would order: — Protein Style Hand Burger(no cheese) — fri«light»(meaning less time in the cooker! Gives them a soft chocolate chip cookie consistency!) — ice tea or be bad and go with a SODA! Or even better SHAKE! Enjoy this place… Everyone has a memory here!

I love in n out! Always consistent and always great. They get the order correct and provide efficient customer service. I’m glad there’s a location here in westlake. However, I have noticed every time I go to the Westlake location in n out, the drive through always takes SOOOOOO long. I’ve witnessed and sat through even longer lines in the Newbury park and Camarillo location but they are a lot faster and I’m never waiting this long. With this said, I give this location three stars, not for the food, but for the extremely long wait times I’ve witnessed at this location.

This is the only drive through fast food chain I willingly eat at and here’s why: 1.) I can order my fries and burger with no salt and have my onions grilled. There is no pre-made anything. They will even make crispy fries if you want them well done. We order two one crispy and one not and throw them together– it’s insane like this. Most fast food places don’t care how you like it– take it as it is. Which is why I don’t ever eat fast food but this place. 2.) They are all about the service and this particular location gets it right every time. 3.) Animal style fries when I really feel like being bad…;) 4.) located at the end of a promenade so if this place is really busy there is other good options close by. The drive through at this location is not in the way of anyone parking as it is at most drive through places. 5.) Everyone working here is friendly :)) 6.) They toast their bread too– makes all the difference.

The best in and out ever. The wait is standard like any other in and out but the food the quality is excellent, the service excellent so friendly and so clean! Your burger is made just for you as you order it. If you don’t want to quality burger and don’t want to wait then go to McDonalds.

Slow slow drive-thru and nobody inside to justify a reason. WTF. Awkward and weird greeting from the employee taking orders. How many times can I say no onions lady? Was happy with the friendly greeting at the end but he probably new how pissed off everyone was. I expected better from In and Out.

In-N-Out burger with views of the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains? I’m there. Everyone knows In-N-Out’s quality and delicious food, so to point out some unique attributes about this location, yeah the views are really nice and it’s also a very good sized dining room and about 10 or so tables outside. The drive-thru line can at times be ridiculous however, as in you might as well just drive up when you’re not hungry because by the time you’re through it all and get your food, you’ll be hungry anyway. And, there are so many high schoolers that eat here, especially at night, that you can’t help but overhear some of the latest damning gossip of Westlake High School(my alma mater). Actually overheard: «Brittany’s hanging out with HER now?» Watch out, Brittany. Watch out.

I had high hopes for this new location and I’ve been here a few times since this location opened. This location has the worst milkshakes I’ve ever tasted. When they first opened I ordered a vanilla milkshake with a burger. The shake had so much syrup you couldn’t even suck it through the straw. I figured it was because their machines were new they hadn’t figured out the right mixture yet. Went back a couple weeks ago and got a chocolate shake, same thing. The consistency was so awful I threw it away. Also my fries were burnt, my boyfriend ordered a 3×3 which ended up being a double double. Everything was completely screwed up. I will never go back to this in n out.

I love In-N-Out but this particular branch is sloOoOow. They are always busy but never ridiculously crazy, as far as I can tell, but it always takes at least 20 minutes for my order no matter how many people are already there. There doesn’t really seem to be anything obviously amiss with the staff or the crowd here, so I have no idea why this particular store has such a wait. Otherwise, service is friendly and the food is delicious as ever.

New In-N-Out Burger location in Westlake. It is nice to have an In-N-Out on this end of town. I only came through the drive-thru, so I can’t really say anything about the inside of the restaurant. It did look very clean through the window as did the kitchen. I arrived here before the lunch rush, so my wait wasn’t too long. There was an attendant outside to take orders to help speed up the process. The food was great. I always order my fries well done, and these were cooked perfectly and to my liking. The burger also looked and tasted good. I have noticed that this location, since it is new, tends to get very busy during the lunch and dinner rush, and the parking lot gets full quickly. I am sure once the newness dies down a little, it won’t be so crowded. 5⁄100

Great new In-N-Out Burger in West Lake! Sweet location not far off the 101. Near a new Target so the area itself is really experiencing an uptick in sweet places to shop and eat! ;) There could be a bit more parking and I could see that being an issue during peak hours. There also is an odd smell when you enter the building but I’m sure that’s just construction smells(it’s BRAND new) that will wear off. The restaurant is squeaky clean and so are the bathrooms. Step on up and get a double/double! Mmmmm… In-N-Out, a California institution!
