I have been a patient of Dr. Kassman now for 18 years, and can honestly say I owe my life to his correct diagnosis and ongoing treatment of my condition. He was the first psychiatrist to correctly prescribe medications that worked for me and I have been seeing him monthly or bi-monthly the entire time, staying on the meds as prescribed. As my life has changed over these years, he has followed and adjusted both what I take and what he recommends accordingly, always explaining fully the reason and completely answering any questions I might have in a caring and thorough manner. At times the wait in the office may be up to 10 minutes, but I’m sure this is usually due to his habit of giving every patient any extra time and attention required, no matter how routine the follow-up appointment might have been scheduled to be. In all my years I have Never left Dr. Kassman’s office with any feelings of concern or disappointment over my condition or how my diagnosis is being treated. I would highly recommend the doctor to patients of any age who seek help managing in life… mine was changed in a matter of a few weeks and I’ve never looked back, except to be grateful for how much my world had changed.

Finally a psychiatrist who does some real analysis before administering meds! Unfortunately, he doesn’t take insurance and he is pretty costly at 395. for initial visit and diagnosis and 110. for each follow-up. That’s the reason for only 4 stars. But, the office will provide receipts for you to submit back to your insurance. Staff is professional and courteous and appointments are always on time. He was well worth the cost and my child is finally on the best meds for him instead of the meds from the sales rep that takes my doctor to lunch the most times!
