Bought a groupon and was very disappointed with their service and the food. Maybe just a bad day but it was not a good experience for the price.

I really love their breakfast! Coffee is bomb and service is good too! Eggs Benedict are my favorite. The atmosphere is always nice.

I haven’t been here in awhile! What a great surprise. I got the gluten free pork shoulder ragu, made with gluten!!! Ha I like my gluten. It was amazing. Miguel was so wonderful. He brought us the(made in house) lime mango pie, OMG yum. Thanks Miguel for the great meal.

My husband and I recently experience Marmalade for the first time. I had the Bittersweet Chocolate French Toast and my husband had the Corned Beef Hash with poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. The French toast was AMAZING! I know that’s not very descriptive but I was glad to cheat on my diet for this one! I had a few bites of my husbands corned beef and it was delicious. Everything was cooked just right. The server was polite and our food came out in a timely manner. We both agreed that we will be back. I would like to try something else from the menu but I honestly don’t know if I can part from that French toast.

Just had a very solid meal. Decent price and impeccable service. Our server Sal was so amazing and tended to all of our needs even offering his advice on menu items. Coming off a Valentines dinner at Beso in Hollywood the service here and attention to service is unrivaled even by such restaurant. Who says you have to spend a lot to be treated so well.

Our favorite casual dining experience in Malibu. The food is great, the atmosphere is cozy and the service is OUTSTANDING! We always ask for COLLEEN, who is by far the best waitperson in Southern California and we go to fine dining establishments weekly. She is always ready with our favorite food and drinks and remembers everything and never lets anything get past her. She spoils us rotten and we love it! See you guys soon!

Evolution, man. It happens! ;-0 By which I mean the menu. I almost had their original one memorized, but it’s definitely changed. I’ve been coming to this location for so many years I’ve lost count. Introduced Dear Hubby to it when he moved out this way 11 years ago. He joined their fandom club. Sitting outside on the patio is a relaxing experience. Indoors with the high ceilings can get to be a bit loud. It’s definitely a cozy feel in the spacing of the tables in the main dining room. It presents like a neighborhood restaurant, instead of being part of a chain(which it is). Food is always reliable. I do miss the wide array of soup choices they used to have, back in the day. They still have multiple options, but not as many as they once did. The tables are tight for four people if you have anything more than one dinner plate per person. If you try to accommodate beverages and a bread plate, too — it gets tricky. Their fresh rolls are sinfully good when hot from the oven.

Not my faveorite, the server is kind but the food I ordered is gross.(My plate of food felt microwaved) I burnt my hand on the plate! My steak is chewy, polenta tasted like oil and grits and my asperagus was burnt. My tea was rockin though. :) tis ok, perhaps just an off day for the café. Bummer, disappointing.

We held my baby shower in the back area of this Marmalade this past weekend. The setup was great, as we had a secluded area but were still part of the restaurant. Our server, Ian, was fast and the food was delicious, as always. Love this location for Sunday brunch but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they did with a bigger group, also.

We had such a terrible experience at the Marmalade Café in the commons in Calabasas that I was reluctant to return. However after the movie we decided to come in to the one in Westlake Village. I have to say that this was a great experience. The food was incredible and our server/bartender Danny was amazing. He made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived till the end. I am looking forward to a brunch here as soon as this weekend and hope he is here but in watching the staff I am sure we would be treated great from everyone.

Went with a co worker for lunch. Restaurant was packed. Was seated right away. We ordered the fish and chips and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. Both were delicious.

The hubby and I happened upon this place on the recommendation of a car sales person at the nearby Lexus dealership. We are so glad we took the recommendation. What a charming place. We enjoyed our dinner thoroughly and saw tons of things on the menu that we want to try, so we will be back soon! The service was very good, and I liked that we could just walk in, although the place was packed by the time we left, so next time I’ll make a reservation. I think the only drawback is trying to find parking in that lot on a Friday or Saturday night — it’s tough to find, but worth the effort.

I honestly can recommend marmalade all day long! It consistently serves high quality, delicious food with fast and friendly service. Recently I started requesting Jose as my server. He is the most attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and fast server I have probably ever had at any restaurant. This is your guy and your breakfast place.

I’ve been patronizing Marmalade Café for years at its many other locations, including Sherman Oaks, Malibu, and Farmers Market in L.A., but I recently discovered the Westlake Village outpost after my significant other stated this is one of her favorite restaurants. As a result, I’ve now frequented the Westlake Village location over 10 times in the past year. Marmalade Café is a wonderful bistro with a broad range of dishes to suite any mood or palate, and a full bar with an extensive wine list and specialty cocktails. I love the chicken quesadilla or the spicy ahi tuna as starters; each of these could serve as a meal if you’re not that hungry. If you’re up for something heartier, the chicken pot pie is outstanding, and The Big Marm burger(½ pound of beef on a Brioche bun with Marmalade Café’s special sauce) is just as big and awesome as it sounds. The other interesting dynamic to this place: it can be as casual as you want, or you can dress up and treat dinner here as a fancier affair. Essentially, your experience here can be whatever you want it to be. You can even sit at the bar while you eat and drink, and watch the game. Now, I would give this restaurant five stars if it weren’t for two design flaws. First, even though the restaurant has seating for approximately 200 guests between the dining room and the large outdoor patio, the men’s and women’s restrooms are far too small and can only accommodate one guest a time. I’ve never seen a restaurant so large with restroom facilities this small and limiting. Secondly, there is no partition or barrier between the kitchen and the dining room. As a result, if you’re heading back to the restrooms in the rear of the restaurant, you have to dodge a collection of managers, servers, and expediters as they pick up food to deliver to guests. Also, there are tables right next to this pick-up area, and that has to be awkward and quite noisy/distracting for guests seated right there. It’s a rather strange set-up, and once that doesn’t work very well… on multiple levels. But overall, this is a fantastic place with excellent good and wonderful service. I recommend it highly.

Made reservations for 12 but ended up with a few more and even though the restaurant was packed, the staff accommodated us with no problem. Service was friendly and efficient. Due to our group size the food took time but we were not in a hurry. Everybody enjoyed their meals from smoked salmon Benedict, omelettes, breakfast chibatta sandwiches, flapjacks, and bloody marys. Great experience.

Having never been here before, I was immensely surprised. Our server, Stevie, was a wealth of good ideas and suggestions, the food(and multi-flavor mimosas) was outstanding, and the place was relatively quiet even for how packed it was. Try the Marmalade breakfast or the Turkey hash, both were insanely good

Marmalade is a nice restaurant to go to if you are desiring a tasty brunch. When I arrived I was greeted quickly and was taken to a shady table outside adjacent to a small creek. The outdoor seating was very nice and gave me a calming feeling. The waiter quickly gave us water as we pondered over the brunch menu. We decided to get a frittata with mushroom bacon and spinach and the banana and berry French toast. The service was quick but we did have about three waiters come and they kept changing who was taking care of us. The food arrived in a quick manner and the frittata was warm with the melted cheese on top. It was a very tasty egg and the side fruit was refreshing but didn’t seem extremely fresh. The French toast was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside but the flavor didn’t blow me away and was just average. Overall the food was solid, the atmosphere was lovely, the service was good and the prices were as expected. It was a very relaxing brunch and I plan on coming back.

Always great food to be had at Marmalade. They’ve got great tasting healthy options. A great breakfast. And stellar service. This is their best location and they have THE best bartender there ever was here… Heather, pours consistent awesomeness with every glass. I so wish we lived closer but I make this a must stop when in town visiting family. xx

I have been here twice and both times I have been impressed. Lucky for me, I took the week off work, and was with my daughter doing some christmas shopping, so we stopped here for Brunch. I had the corn chili(think of corn chowder) and it was freakin awesome… Even my daughter who doesn’t like peppers ate it, and really enjoyed it. For the main, was the Marm burger. I really appreciated this because it was really cooked well and you could taste the meat. I have eatten way too many burgers that have been cooked to hell and you end up having to really chew it. This was a refreshing change. My daughter had the clear winner though, it was a biscuit and gravy dish but the gravy was eggs benedict… The burger was good, but I will return for this dish. It really was comfy on a chilly morning.
