I called in on a weekday for a simple haircut and was expecting to not get an appointment until the following week, but luckily Cheryl had an opening that same day! I showed up about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and Cheryl was able to take me right then. I have long hair and I explained to her that I wanted to keep it long, but cut off the dead ends and add some layers – and that’s exactly what I got! She brought my boring, grown-​out hair back to life!
What I loved the most about getting my hair cut with Cheryl is that she continuously explained to me what she was doing and showed me how my hair looked after each step before moving on. I’ve always had long hair and getting it cut requires me to have a lot of trust in my hairstylist, so that fact that she didn’t move on without my approval meant a lot to me. I felt comfortable discussing with her and working with her to get my hair the way I wanted, unlike other stylists who listen to what you say and then you don’t see your hair until the end.
Cheryl is such a sweet lady, definitely recommend!

i had my haircut with stacy. i am a hairstylist and love to freak new people i go to out when i say that. there is nothing scarer than doing another hair stylist hair. especially for money!
stacy (or stacie, don’t know which spelling) was awesome. she was very polite, sweet and and professional. I am in salons all day long. many a day. I have also had my hair cut from everyone from the local barber to 120 bucks in a semi private salon. I have loved many, but i have to say, this is a damn fine haircut. really good. she dialed me in. she deserves my praise and yours. i would for sure go back to her again in a heartbeat.

I got off work on a Tuesday evening and decided I wanted to chop the off hair that I’ve been growing out for the past 5 years. I stopped at the first salon I saw because I wanted it and I wanted it now. It was empty and it was looking like everyone was ending their day. One of the stylists, Cheryl, agreed to a walk in. And I am so happy that she did. I am obsessed with my haircut. She did such an amazing job! Thank you Cheryl!

Many wouldn’t risk getting their haircut from an unknown barber the day before your wedding, however, when unexpected business trips coincide with your wedding week you just have to hope for the best in these kinds of binds, as was my situation yesterday. Called in early and was greeted by a nice receptionist who helped me hook an appointment within half hour. Fran my stylist was very nice and gave me just the cut I wanted. She took her time and was very precise with her work. Great haircut and friendly staff for a reasonable price.

I would not let anyone else other than Chris do my do. He is funny, down-​to-​earth, reasonably-​priced and, most importantly, can cut a mean head of hair. BTW, I saw that the best QB of all time, Joe Montana, gets his hair cut by Chris too. Perhaps that makes me the second greatest QB?

Fran just cut my son’s hair after we walked in with no appointment. $ 25, excellent clean & stylish cut and my 14 yr old son said he thought she was «super nice». Great place for a great cut!

I had gone to North Ranch Barber where Mohammad had cut my hair. He was very friendly and had great music playing in the background. But he was no longer there when I needed my next cut. Thankfully I found him at Westlake Haircutting and he still gives excellent haircuts with a great use of the straight razor to really clean up the edges. My wife loves my look after getting a cut from Mohammad… more so the more expensive places.

Ive been going to Stacy Mcghee for years and she is by far the best stylist/​colorist i’ve been to. You walk out with a great haircut/​color everytime. My husband, daughter and son love her also. Thank you Stacy for doing such a great job!

I let one if my friends cut my hair… Total mistake. I took my jagged hair cut into Chris screaming 911!

Fran is the best person to cut your hair.
I have a store next door and people are constantly raving about her.
There must be a reason.

I have been going to Fran for a haircut for 12 years or so. I now drive 27 miles to do so. A couple of times in all those years I’ve gone elsewhere usually because I am away on a trip. When I return I have to have Fran sort out my hair! She’s absolutely the best hairdresser I have ever had.

Thanks to other reviewers for recommending this business and Fran Marks in particular. After having had some bad cuts since moving to the area (see my other reviews =/​), I’m grateful to have found Fran.

Jessica Brown is my stylist. She does a great job every time. I love her weaves and she does great cuts. My whole family uses her. She is really nice and she does everything from my grandmother’s perms to my brother’s haircuts. She is one of the best. I recommend her to everyone. I always get compliments on my hair now that she is my stylist. Before I had her people hardly noticed when I would have my hair done. She is the best and I definatly recommend her.

If you want a quality haircut and style, you need to go to Kathy! She made my hair look AMAZING! She had to bleach the whole thing when I wanted to get my dark hair weaved through with a lighter color, but instead of my hair being completely fried by all the bleach, she made it so soft and beautiful. It’s been two months and my hair STILL looks like I just had it done! It looks awesome! Thanks Kathy!

We’re new to the area, and my husband needed a good haircut. Based on the high ratings, I made an appointment for him to see Fran Marks. Unfortunately, while he was there for his scheduled appointment, he never got the haircut, or even met Fran. When he arrived, there was no one attending the front desk, so he waited. It’s a small place, so all the stylists could see him, but no one greeted him, or asked who he was there to see — just looked at him, and he continued to wait. Eventually, he was noticed by a male stylist, greeted, and invited to take a seat while he waited for Fran (so I am giving one star for that).
After a few minutes, he heard one of the female stylists, who he then realized was probably Fran, say in a loud and irritated voice, «I don’t know who this guy is, but he is late for his appointment, and I’m not going to call him since I don’t know him.» At that point, although she did not seem like the friendliest person, my husband assumed she would ask him, the only waiting customer, if he were her client. But she just continued with, «if he were a regular, I’d call him, but since I don’t know him, I’m not gonna call him.»
Well, my husband was obviously «this guy», and couldn’t understand why she apparently couldn’t figure this out, nor even look at him. He got an extremely bad vibe, and decided this probably wasn’t the best place for him to get a hair cut.
I’m perplexed why this happened, but I have my suspicions — maybe they were in a bad mood, maybe they have enough regular customers, maybe they only want certain kinds of customers… Whatever the reason, in this instance good customer service, professionalism, and even basic common courtesy was lacking.

If you are looking for a good men’s hairstylist you have to see Fran Marks. I have been a regular of hers for 24 years and she consistently does a great job for a very reasonable price.
As a testament to her skills as a men’s stylist is the fact that she has so many customers who come back month after month and year after year. If you need a good haircut, you certainly won’t be disappointed with the quality of her work.

If you care about your haircut, you gotta call Fran. She is truly a professional men’s hair artist. No bad hair days once she is done with your do. Besides being the absolute best hairstylist, she can Camo your grey and make you look 10 yrs younger. Also does a great job trimming beards and moustaches.
If you go to anyone but Fran, your wasting your time and money. Call her now.
