We ordered our wedding bands and my engagement ring from Ritani who is a vendor to Kleinhenz. They are so wonderful! They take such great care of you. Offer free cleaning or sizing anytime. I will always make major jewelry purchases from this great place!

This is a very nice jewelry store with many hidden surprises. Yes, they have high quality diamonds, gem stone rings, bracelets and earrings and affordable too. Their Sapphire pieces were stunning. Their Tanzanite collection boasts a nice deep blue hue with a very affordable price tag. BUT here are the hidden surprises… they also have a consignment section with some high quality pieces. In addition to that on display were some designer corners with some very affordable items as well. I just purchased a pair of designer Frederic Duclos elongated sterling silver hoop earrings that were a must buy on the spot. Very pretty, light weight with a nice sparkle. There was a nice collection of Waterford Crystal. Kathy was extremely nice and helpful as well as Brian and Shane. This is jewelry store that is well worth taking the time to visit. You will not be disappointed. Did I mention no hassle parking? Easy Access? Great restaurants right in the same plaza? The only jewelry store where I ever received a diet coke with ice while i shopped? (I can not even get that at my hair dressers anymore) how does it get any better than this???

Nestled away in Westlake on the west side of Cleveland is the best jewelry store I’ve been to. From the moment I walked in the staff (mostly family) was incredible. They offered my coffee, asked me about my upcoming purchase (and congratulated me) and helped educate me on all the things that would be important. I worked specifically with Ken, who is extremely knowledgable and personable. He walked me through different cuts of diamonds, clarity, size and the whole gamut. Then showed me the differences, and how it would look both under the microscope and to the plain eye. He also helped me with figuring out the perfect setting. When I proposed, my now fiancée feel in the love with the ring, and she gets compliments all the time.
After my first experience with Ken, I felt very comfortable asking him for some help picking out a watch for myself. It was a gift from my mother who recently retired, and she wanted to give me something that I will have forever, and will always remember her by. Ken again walked me through the plusses and minuses of different types of watches, and had some recommendations.
One great story about the service from Ken is that on a Monday afternoon (his day off) I texted him with a jewelry emergency. I told him that my fiancée was having an allergic reaction to some earrings she had bought. He immediately called me to see what he could do to help. The following day I stopped in the store, and he explained the differences to me and helped me choose something that would work.
With the type of service I receive every time I walk in this store, I will be coming back for a long time. It is not just about the sale with them, but about educating their clients and customers so they can make an educated purchase.

No — I haven’t started drinking my Bacardi-​spiked egg nog just yet. I agree that it’s a little early to be extending my holiday greetings, but think of this review as a useful tip from a friendly Unilocalful elf.

If contemplating getting something special for someone this holiday — something REALLY special — rather than waiting until the last few days or even a month before, fruitlessly sifting through the meager unexciting leftovers out there, make an early visit to Kleinhenz in Westlake, right off the I-​90 Columbia Road exit.
Stalling to search for that prize «find» will likely mean driving/​sliding sideways over slick wintery Northeast Ohio roads, in and out of slow-​moving conjested mall lots, crowded pushing-​shoving malls, and busy jewelers, all carrying the same predictables.
Start early, well BEFORE that slushy-​wet icy-​dreary Holiday Cold Rush, and make it, instead, a leaf-​raking season glittering Gold Rush to Kleinhenz, where they’ll likely have the perfectly irresistible, sparkly Holiday decoration.
It’s been about a year since I’ve been here, but expect to find beautiful higher-​end bracelets, chains, necklaces, time-​pieces, pendants, engagement & wedding sets, crystal, fine china, and giftware, but it’s their RINGS that always get my rapt attention. Not overwhelming in number, but always an extraordinarily impressive selection, they carry the simply-​designed classics, but it’s their exceptional color-​bursting mouth-​watering gemstone-​set pieces that I can confidently say you’d never see in any mall jeweler, department store, or online shopping network. These are «special» pieces.
It’s obvious that Kleinhenz takes time and serious thought selecting what they offer, so don’t be surprised to find yourself making audible ew’s and ah’s while looking over their display cases. Try your best to control yourself — unless you don’t mind hearing muffled giggles and being smiled at. Q: O)

You won’t believe your eyes. You might even think
of holding off on getting that new sofa.
I haven’t yet visited Tiffany’s, but occasionally look through their site, and can say that the rings here have that same high-​end level of particularly well-​designed, refined taste. And they have their own goldsmith/​designer, too — so bring along all your loose rubies and emeralds.
Nothing gaudy or gum-​ball size here… no flashy, trendy, hot today/​not tomorrow. And you’ll never see jewelry forms or padded velvet trays packed with ordinary, boring «fillers», either.

It’s likely that Kleinhenz claims an impressive share of Cleveland area A-​listers among their customers. But with everyone here being so genuinely friendly and helpful (thank you, Shane!), I know that D’s through Z’s (myself included — maybe around the V’s and W’s) will be made to feel welcome. You just might end up walking out their door with not only a stunning 14K gold cuff for your sweetie — or for yourself! — but an Indian or Brown’s autograph, too. (Wear that team cap, jacket, or sweatshirt just in case. Leave the travel mugs and seat cushions in the car, though.)
May eventually end up treating myself to one of their dazzling rings — or pendants or bracelets — but I’m set for now. (Came real close a couple of times, and have already instructed my husband not to surprise me.) Until that time comes, I’m content with my Breakfast at Tiffany’s Holly Golightly role of dreamily looking through the glass-​topped counters at the amazing results cut, crafted, designed and polished by exceptionally talented artists, while waiting for a new battery in one of the three gorgeous watches purchased here some time ago.

Prices may be a wee bit more than what you were planning to spend for an item of jewelry — especially if thinking of giving another two or three more gifts — but I
have a suggestion. Instead of four really NICE gifts, how about one FABULOUS?

For a small, family, independently-​owned jeweler, they have the largest collection of engagement rings we have seen. Ken and Kathy do a terrific job getting to know your tastes and preferences and matching up them up to ring selections. They also give their personal opinions about each of the ring designers, which I appreciate. They are so patient, and their follow-​up is exceptional. Excellent.

After ring shopping throughout Chicago (and really only getting frustrated with the process) I went into Kleinhenz while back in Cleveland for a weekend.
I went only because they were one of the few in Cleveland with a Unilocal review (which I guess is more common in Chicago) and wanted a higher end, classier, less «big-​box» jeweler. This is not your mall’s Kay jeweler– so expect a different experience. Its not the place for the best «deal» or any gimmick («it’ll appraise for double») — go here if you want quality options sold with no pressure by an understanding and knowledgeable staff.
After having done my research and visited a handful of jewelers in both Chicago and Cleveland I was thoroughly impressed (enough to create a Unilocal profile) with both Kleinhenz (in their selection, organization and service time) and perhaps even more importantly Kathy (who was wonderful through the entire process.)
Besides having something very particular in mind– I also wanted the ring shipped for me back to Chicago. This was no problem for them– the ring was set on schedule (actually a quick turn-​around) then shipped on the Monday (as promised). They also went as far as to delay sending the appraisal for me as to not ruin the surprise.
I can say that I would for sure return for the wedding bands and my future jewelry buys– and I’ll be asking for Kathy.

Imagine giving a jewelery store 5 stars. Aren’t they all just an overpriced rip off? Probably most are, but I really don’t get that impression from Kleinhenz. My boyfriend (I guess really the correct term is fiancé) purchased my engagement ring from here. It’s truly the most beautiful piece of jewelery ever (ok, i’m a little bias),
We both dreaded the idea of having to go in and pick out a ring and deal with irritating sales people. To our surprise, the whole experience was enjoyable. Our salesman was knowledgeable and laid back. We felt no pressure to buy nor did he try to upsell us. He was actually a pretty cool guy and we felt that he was honest and trustworthy as well. All in all the experience was really easy. We also felt like we got a pretty good deal on the diamond and the setting.
He even gave me good advice when I came back to get my ring resized. I tried arguing with him, but he set me straight and thank goodness I listened to him b/​c had I not my ring would have fallen off my fingers long ago.
I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase jewelery.
