The Second Look

Here is the holy grail of used furniture stores: amazing, unique, authentic and character-​packed pieces AT AFFORDABLE PRICES! I bought an amazing wrought iron desk riddled with teal patina, a large glass top, and matching iron chair for $ 90!!! The woman working the day we retrieved our gem was also suuuper helpful and pleasant, even though it was a pretty busy day at the shop. The only thing that troubles me is that I cannot have everything in the store. I’ll be back often looking for more jackpot pieces. Never change, Second Look. Never change.

I’m giving this used furniture store five stars for selection, cleanliness, and prices. Everything in here was of very good to high quality. They have a bunch of different eras represented, from antique to modern. The people there are very nice and even trusted me not to spill my coffee on the furniture. They can hook you up with a number of moving companies if you can’t fit your purchase into your vehicle.
The thing I like best about The Second Look is that every piece has a tag with a price for three different dates: current, a date in about two weeks, and in about a month and thereafter. The price goes down with each successive date. So, if you see a dresser you love, but it’s a little more than you want to pay, you can always check back when it goes down. — if it’s still there!
