Stay away at all costs. I‘ve just had the taxes they did reviewed by H& R Block & there is a $ 10,000 discrepancy. Its so blatantly obvious, yet I didn’t check their final accounts.
This has cost us a absolute fortune in interest from the IRS & I will be taking this further if they don’t make some re-​compense. Also the Accountant we dealt with had a bad attitude when I questioned the amount she said we owed. If you like paying the IRS over the top, use these people.

This was the first year we needed the services of the Tax Center of Orange Coast and it was such a positive experience that I wanted to write a review.
We were referred to the Tax Center and called up to make an appointment. One of their tax advisors met with us after work one night and was very thorough and professional. She asked us lots of questions about our life and year — some of which we had no idea were deductible! The tax preparation fee was reasonable and well worth the money she saved us on our taxes.
A few days later, we were called to say the papers were done and we were ready to e-​file. A very easy tax experience and we will be going back next year!

One star was one too many! What a horrible experience! The woman Pat, was so lazy she didn’t want to do my taxes. I am a Realtor and I needed to file back taxes from 2008. Pat told me I couldn’t claim my home office (not true) Pat told me I couldn’t claim my move to California for a proprty management job (not true). After doing a ruff estimate she told me that I couldn’t file 0 after all my deductions because the IRS would want to know how I survived if I made no money! I don’t know many Realtors that did make money after deductions in 2008. Pat basically called me a liar over the phone regarding my deductions claiming she needed to do due diligence (Due diligence means I should be able to claim ALL DEDUCTIONS that I quilify for). Pat told me she wouldnt do my taxes and to pick up my paper work from her office. When I picked up my paper work I took in the box full of receipts and pointed out the receipts she was questioning over the phone. Pat then stated well your utilities that you want to claim are just about the same amount as the year before, HUH??? Why wouldn’t my utilities be about the same, I used the same providers for both years. She finally said my return was over her head, now that we both agreed on. Pat is nothing more than a book keeper who is lazy and unprofessional. DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH THE IRS GETTING MORE OF YOUR MONEY THAN THEY SHOULD BECAUSE PAT DOESN’T WANT TO WORK FOR YOU SHE WOULD RATHER MAKE MONEY FOR THE IRS!

The Tax Center of Orange Coast was terrific. They were nice, helpful and accommodating. I made my appointment the weekend before my taxes were due and even with their already busy schedule they fit me in and prepared my return before the due date.
