So I been looking to buy good quality clip in hair extensions at a reputable salon, and discovered Mavis. At the last minute, I came to the store seeing the sign «by appointments only» I called the number and Mavis answered immediately, she was doing errands at the time and told me she would be there in less than 10 minutes even though she was busy! That stood out for me entirely. After calling me personally to let me she was here, I came up to the store and was instantly greeted with a warm welcome. Throughout the hair color match she was able to quickly and promptly find me my perfect color. She took her time with me, and gave me hair care advice and how to make the extensions last as long as possible and how to apply them properly. The ones that were custom made to match my hair, were double weft and fairly priced. She is the sweetest woman, I wish I knew about her a long time ago. If you want quality human hair extensions, and quality customer service to match your satisfaction. Don’t hesitate and go here!!! After my experience today, I’m letting all my friends and family know about her. She deserves all the business! Thank you Mavis for your wonderful service and helping me find the perfect extensions, I’m hooked officially! :)

I took my girlfriend to ABC Beauty Supply & Salon last weeks. They have the best management team and employees who are all extremely knowlegable, friendly and helpful. My girlfriend got a pedicure and her hair done. The whole experience was pleasant. My girlfriend love this place and she look awesome. The owner is super nice as well. I recommend every guy to take their girlfriend to go here.

I have done my hair extension at ABC salon for 5 years. Mavis is always the best ! She uses best quality hair for her customers; also she has a lot of hair experience.

I’ve been going to Mavis for my hair extensions as well as haircut for over 10 years. She is amazing at what she does. Great hairstylist, she pays attention and knows exactly what you want. I’ve had so many compliments on my hair. Her extensions look great and feel so natural. She cares about her work and go out of her way to accommodate her clients. I hope she will continue doing what she does for years to come. She is my hairstylist for life.

I’ve been going to this salon since 2009 for hair extensions, and Mayvis is great. I originally started coming because my hair was thinning due to an autoimmune disease that I have, and Mayvis helped me regain my confidence during a time when I needed it. I drive from West LA and she is very accomodating when it comes to appointment times. I highly recommend this salon especially for extensions!

I called and asked about the price to remove hair extensions. she must have been busy cause she quickly answered and tried to get off the phone with me.
So I started calling other places because maybe they’ll have better phone etiquette! BUTTT she text me and told me the prices and told me she’ll be free at 4:30. which was pretty nice, so I called and confirmed and was there by 4:30 but I wasn’t seen till 4:50 because she had another client. still all good. Cause she seemed okay.
Finally it was my turn, and I know I’ve had the extensions in for awhile so it would be tangled, but she did remove the tangle. but it hurt. like I know its suppose to hurt a little cause that’s my fault for leaving it in for so long, but the way she brushed my hair out. it was pretty painful. She wasn’t talkative either. but im guessing she had a long day.
Eh this place is okay. Probably wont be back cause I’ve had better at cheaper places. You guys can read my other reviews for extensions. I like to experience various locations!

Mavis is awesome. Such a hard worker and does her best! I love her customer service as well. I can always call/​text her last minute to set up a late or early appt. she is very accommodating and cares about your feelings with result. I remember having to go back to have her do a fix because I wanted my extension thicker and results were bad. She fix with no questions asked or comments (since it was my fault!) and said, I want you to be happy. She is very sweet. Prices are reasonable and store is stocked with all hair extensions needs. She has her method but open to listening and doing what you like and ask of her. Well worth the money!
Best of all for the holiday she sent a card. I appreciate her thinking about her clients. Not a lot of places do that. You can go to anyone with your hard earned money but she makes you feel that you did well choosing her!

Thanks to a friend’s referral I saved my fine hair to possible nightmare like others I know have had bad work done from other salons.

I been getting hair extensions for many many years. I started with clip ons, however decided to step it up with Micro links. I am very happy with Mavis service and quality of hair. I use to spend 500 and even up to 1000, every 3 months because the hair quality was so poor and thin. After coming to Mavis, my extensions last up to 5 months and she charges only 349. Yes only 349 including hair, she keeps on adding hair to make sure you are satisfied. I am very careful who touches my hair and Mavis earned my trust. :)

I have been getting my hair done with Mavis for 6 years now. She has become my go-​to lady in dealing with my highlights and hair-​extensions. I absolutely love her as a person, and she has become a great friend!
She is honest and sincere with all of her customers. I recommend any girl or guy when they are in need of a new stylist or a great new hair-​do!!!
Seriously the coolest lady I know!
I will continue to have her in charge of my hair for as long as I’m here in this state. =)

I have been a customer for over 2 years and Mavis has always been great with customer service…
I have never had an issue with her pricing, turn-​around time, or the quality of her work, especially when it comes to my hair extensions (MicroLinks). I have tried out other places but the extensions would never last as long as when Mavis does it. She does a great job putting them in and is very fast at it.
I would definitely recommend Mavis to anyone looking for quality hair extensions at the best price.

I originally wasn’t going to write this update, but the more I thought about it. the more annoyed and mad I get.
Per Mavis’ comments, she would not cheat anyone out of their money, and it was a misplaced, or mix-​up with the display.
There was no mix-​up. The box of hair I bought the 2^nd time was the only box she brought down from the racks of hair. She opened the box, took the card stock holding the hair out (at this point she would have seen how much hair was in the box), matched it to my hair. She said it was a perfect match, gave me my price and «discount,» charged my card, and then I was done. I might believe there was a mix-​up if there were multiple boxes taken down, but the FIRST and ONLY box she grabbed was the box she sold me. It’s not like I already knew my color and she didn’t even have to open the box to show me.
As stated in my first review, I called Mavis’ store when my friend told me this. She did not offer a replacement. She stated no exchanges or refunds on hair. Then she simply hung up on me.
When she replied to my first review, I called her store the next day, yesterday Sept 1^st. I don’t think it was Mavis who picked up. I explained what happened to the girl who picked up. Told her that Mavis said that I can come in and see what she can do for me, then the girl told me no exchanges or refunds, and then hung up on me. Wouldn’t let me speak to Mavis. When I called back a 2^nd time, the phone had a busy tone. Like it was off the hook.
WTH. Bad customer service. Bad communication with store employees/​kid of store owners.
