Daniel did an amazing job on my hair. I’m absolutely in love with it. I came in with black hair with light brown roots because I tried to dye my own hair. That was a pretty awful mistake. My hair was very dry and dead especially at the bottom. But he made a miracle out of it. He did a balayage on me and it turned out amazingly. Also cut off most of my split ends and touched up my roots so it would look more subtle with my new hair. Daniel cares a lot about what you want and also about your hair care. He does the better best he can so your hair wouldn’t be damaged. Also did hair treatment on my hair because like I said he cares about your hair and how much your hair can take. Balayage ombré by Daniel. He did an awesome job blending. It looks multidimensional with my natural hair color and the ash blonde. Very happy with the result.

I came here to see Daniel as a recommendation from my best friend and he is AWESOME. My natural hair color is very dark brown/​black Asian hair and I wanted a dark pink color. I also previously dyed my hair to a brown color using box dye. This required my hair to be bleached.
Before starting the process, he warned me of the risks and damage that my hair was going to go through. He also laid out the steps that he was going to take and warned me that if my hair did not lift to the right level of blonde, then I might have to come back a second time to bleach my hair again. Daniel took the time to make sure that I was aware of all possible situations that could happen. Since I was a new client, he was not sure how my hair would react to the bleach. He is very open and honest and WILL take care of your hair. If he feels that your hair cannot handle the bleach or if your hair cannot take in a color, he will tell you! He will also adjust the process (i.e. how long the bleach will sit in your hair) according to the health of your hair. He also added in a nice hair treatment too (Brazilian Blowout) so that’s a plus!
Because of the health of my hair, it was able to lift to the right level of blonde and Daniel was able to put in his own custom mixture of pink hair dye, all in one day! Since I sent him reference photos of the pink color I wanted in advance, he already had the custom color in his mind when I came in to see him (He even confessed that he laid there in bed thinking about how to make this color, this is how awesome he is).
I am SUPER HAPPY with the results! My hair does not feel dry or damaged AT ALL and I still feel the strength in my hair, even though it has been bleached. It has been almost two weeks now, with two washes and my hair is still vibrant and bright as ever. My fear was that the pink dye would stain my bathtub, but it did not!
My loyalty is with Daniel.

I destroyed my hair so I decided to go to amazing hair design to save my hair and also dye it a different color. I requested for Tommy because I was watching him to clients hair when I with with my brother so he can cut his hair and I really loved how he did hair. Tommy explained everything to me and the cost before jumping in and start doing it like other Asian places. He explained what he needed to do and why because my hair was so dead he had to save it. I came in with a snake skin looking hair and left with a beautiful white/​blonde hair! My hair is so soft now and I love it so much I can’t stop looking at it. It was my first time ever to go extreme from dark hair to lighter. Tommy is the best!

Okay, so I had to create an account just so I can rave about Cindy! Well… also about my hair. I went in for color and a Brazilian blowout.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to leave the salon satisfied, color wise. I showed Cindy a picture of something I wanted, and Cindy told me she’d me able to get close to 80% of the color I wanted because my hairnwas so damaged… so I was like great. that means more like 20% ha. Mind you, all the other places I have been to, always said yes, that’s possible but I’d always leave with the total opposite. I can finally say. I have found the one, the one person I can keep going back to for my hair. I have found Cindy! I have Unilocal to thank for this!
I was there for 5 hours!!! Surprisingly, it felt like it past by pretty quickly. I’ve posted some pics of the outcome. The change is drastic y’all!!!

I just got my haircut with Cindy today! This was my first time here and was recommended by my best friend Julia! I felt so welcomed by Cindy and she gave me the best haircut I have ever gotten! It’s been a whole year since I got a haircut and asked for her to cut off all the dead ends and layer my hair into a V. She did an amazing job, and she took her time to make everything perfect! After she finished, she styled my hair and taught me how to curl it without damaging my ends. I will definitely be coming back here for all my haircuts and ask for Cindy!!!

I wanted something different so decided to try a new salon and color. Most of the reviews praised Cindy. So decided to take the road most taken. =P I came on an empty stomach. Little did I know it’d take a total of 7 hours. My hair was bleached twice with my scalp burning off. Beauty is pain right?!
Never have I sat at a salon for 7 hours. I cant even sit at the movies without squirming. Come on a full stomach or bring food. Luckily I had a friend drop off food after 5 hours of starvation.
Anyhow I showed Cindy a picture of what I wanted. It didn’t turn out quite what I expected so I came back the following week to have her tone it again with no extra charge. She used Olaplex so my hair isn’t as damaged as it should be. She also put some treatment and Moroccan oil to bring it back to life.
I’ve never spent over $ 300 on my hair with gratuity. All good though… I’m ballin… on.a.budget.
Cindy is really sweet. But honestly my Vietnamese sucks and I didn’t understand half the stuff she said. I just smiled and nodded. So there’s a bit of a language barrier there.

Here I am again, after a long trip to Virginia. Now that I am back to California, I decided to change my hair to another color, a brighter one for summer.
It turned out great. Once again I got treatment which keep my hair in a better condition since I dyed my hair for every two months.
Love Cindy. And I will definitely come back after 2 months. I also introduced her to my two friends. They got new hair too, which looks great!!!

Another review for Cindy! I will never go to somebody else. She takes her time and is a complete perfectionist. I loooove my hair its so beautiful and I’ve never been happier with it! The only thing i wish we could solve is the language barrier to be able to talk more! Lol
But other than that, Cindy is the best!

From dark brown with brassy tones to gray balayage! 5 hours of hard work ($ 200 which is cheaper than most places for balayage and ombré) and I’m in love with it! HUGE THANK YOU CINDY!
I called yesterday afternoon to schedule an appointment with Cindy for tomorrow morning and she was available! She really listens to what you want and can achieve the look you want. Very welcoming and pays attention and focuses on her clients. First time with her was a haircut, and 2 months later I’m here to go gray. You bet I’ll be coming back here!
Update ⁰⁵⁄₂₇: Back at it again with the gray! Two weeks ago I went in for a toning, but This time I wanted to go lighter so I asked Cindy for gray with silver incorporated. I am once again satisfied with the results! Took 5 hours and she worked on my hair the entire time (even past their closing time) She is very thoughtful, she offered refreshments and to fix the makeup on my forehead when she washed it off (no bad intentions) because she felt bad. She also gave me 2 samples of the Brazilian Blowout mask. Like WOW. I love her service!

Still in shock that I came in with virgin dark brown hair, and Cindy managed to get me to exactly where I wanted in one session! She was so amazing and really has a talent for artistic skills and creativity! I told her I wanted to avoid any tones of orange since Asian hair tends to pick up that color more often! Showed her a couple of photos and she combined them all and created something so beautiful I was shocked my hair could even be transformed this way!!!
I highly recommend this salon and especially Cindy!!!

I have been to a lot of places around Westminster to get my hair dyed and most of them left me unsatisfied with my hair color. I think this is the first place where I didn’t have the urge to go back the next day and get my hair color fixed!
I decided to try again for a grey balayage since the last place I went to couldn’t do it. I stumbled on this place after Unilocaling around for new hair salons to try and I found this one due the high ratings and reviews. After looking at the pictures, I decided to make an appointment with Cindy because her clients got the ashy grey balayage which is exactly what I was looking for.
I was pleasantly surprised that even though this hair salon was busy, only one hair stylist will work on your hair the entire time. I’ve been to a lot of hair salons where the stylist has an assistant that works on your hair most of the time, EVEN though you specifically request for a certain stylist. Cindy took her time to work on my hair for 6 hours which I really appreciated! She’s really friendly and makes sure you feel comfortable during your stay.
I came in with brassy brown hair and came out with a beautiful ash brown/​grey balayage. It turned out a lot prettier than I expected! :)
I will definitely be coming back to get my hair done with Cindy!

Just got my hair done by Cindy yesterday and im extremly happy with my new hair!
I had dark brown hair and a haircut fail from myself. She did her magic and turned my hair into beautiful ashy silver blond ombré bob. I absolutely love it. I read some other reviews about having language barrier so i did my homeworks and brought many pictures of how i want my hair to be done. She also asked her coworker to help translating so the communication went easier than i expected. The price is alao very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I have done ombré balayage too long ago somewhere else. It did not come out as I wanted at all…
So I called Amazing Hair to make an appointment with Tommy. I got there 20min late because I was driving from riverside and traffic was horrible!
But! At the end, it was all worth it!
Tommy worked on my hair for more than 5 hours and turned my orange fried hair into beautiful ash blonde ombré balayage!!!
Actually better than what I pictured in my head!
And he did treatment to minimize the damage so it came out softer and shinier:)
They were very busy but I felt that he was very attentive and did not try to rush the process.
I am very pleased with the result so even though there’s little language barrier and long drive, I will be back to see Tommy for all my future hair needs!

OMG, where have u been hiding all of my life Amazing Hair & Designs? I read some of the reviews & there were a lot of praises for «Cindy» one of the stylist & I was tired of going to my old stylist who would ask me to wrap that foil on the sheet when highlighting my hair. WTH ???
So I arrived for my appointment at the VERY clean salon which was modernly decorated. It’s in a strip mall on Bolsa with plenty of free parking. I was a little early and Tommy (I believe he’s the owner or manager) asked me if I wanted some water. Very personable.
Once Cindy arrived, I showed her a picture of what I wanted done to my hair. She said my hair was very damaged, which I already knew. But she said she would do her best to get great results. I didn’t realize the steps that Cindy would have to take to get my hair healthier I believe she used several treatments and she washed my hair at least five times, lol.
My appointment was at 11:00 am and about at 1:00 pm I started to get hungry. So Cindy asked me if she could pick up some lunch for me. OMG, so sweet. So, I placed an order at a restaurant located in the same strip mall and she went to the restaurant to get my take-​out order. Wow… that’s great service. Cindy is so sweet, she set up a tray for me so that I would be comfortable eating my meal.
I was the only person in the salon so I ate at my leisure. Then it was back to work for Cindy. After Cindy was finished with me I looked in the mirror and was amazed on how healthy my hair looked.
But I have very thin hair so I wanted to try a weave for the first time in my life. So, Nathan and Ken who are also stylist at the salon worked on me. Both of them were so personable and very kind … always asking me if I was ok or if I wanted some water. I felt like I was totally being pampered. When my weave was finished, Nathan curled my hair and showed me a picture. OMG, I almost fell out of my chair because I could not believe how wonderful of a job that they did on my hair.
I was extremely pleased beyond belief on how talented Cindy, Nathan and Ken are as a stylist. I will continue to return to Amazing Hair Design because they know what they are doing!

OMG!!! Cindy is one of a kind! I had my haircut by her today. Very pleasant and talented. I have my go to look. long layers with U-​shape and side bangs. Cindy perfected exactly what I wanted for $ 25. What a deal for gorgeous locks!
As a new client, she starts off with a hair consultation. She listens to what style you want to achieve. Then, gives you expert advice on what treatment or process is needed to achieve beautiful healthy hair.
My hair is medium-​long length and kinda damaged due to coloring and excessive flat ironing. Cindy advised me to consider a brazilian blow out ($ 60). I am so glad I did. The process to apply and let product sink into roots and ends took 10 minutes. After that, blow drying is needed to seal in softness and shine. I love my silky hair now! It is promised to last up to 4 weeks. Feels great as I run my fingers through.
Cindy has become so popular due to the ombré balayage style. Check out the photos. I highly recommend her for all your hair styling needs. I will for sure be back for my first experience with ombré. Going lighter for spring/​summer!!!

So normally I highlight my hair at least once a year. This time I wanted a dramatic change. I was going through a major transition in my life, getting rid of junk, wanting to get back into shape, graduate from college, starting new career, new relationships, etc. And my mom keeps begging me to stop highlighting my hair. So I woke up one day and decide to go all dark with my hair!!!
Worried I wouldn’t find anywhere that could take me after 4pm, Bebe Salon was packed. So I Unilocaled nearby places of course, and came across this salon!!! I figure you cannot fail dying hair just black so I did not care who did it! I don’t remember his name but I was a little nervous. He ended up doing a great job!!!
Cindy took over to trim my hair, I never told her anything really except trim. Normally I get asked how many inches to trim off but she did not ask and I trusted her to just do it her way.
Wow oh wow!!! I transformed and walked out of the salon a totally different person!!! It took me a while to get used to my black hair but I am in love and will keep it this way for a while. Plus, it makes mom happy. I am definitely coming back here! I think it costed $ 80. Pretty pricey but no idea where my last stylist went. ;(

Cindy is absolutely amazing! I came in with completely natural dye-​free dark brown hair and asked for a balayage ombré with silver/​gray hues melting with ash blond hints. Amazingly, Cindy did this in ONE process session! It came out even better than I had expected. Well worth the $ 200! I also recommend the Brazilian conditioning treatment she offers aferwards… it really felt soothing on my scalp and hair after the hours of lightening. My hair still feels amazingly soft, like it wasn’t even lightened!
Cindy will happily take pictures before/​during/​after the whole experience and will show you specific examples of her work to make you feel at ease. And she is such a cutie! She’s so happy and friendly… it’s obvious that she loves her job and takes pride in doing quality work.
I happily recommend her! I was so nervous about coming in and doing such a drastic change since I haven’t dyed my hair in over 3 years, but I’m so happy I did it. Most of all, I’m so happy that Unilocal pointed me in her direction and can now do the same for others. ;)
