My 60 inches Sony XBR was still working perfectly but I wanted to donate it to the salvation army and buy myself a new XBR 4K TV, I won’t have to go to the movies so much.
I used to buy all my electronics, computers and appliances from BB but service deteriorated so I left and went to BB’s competitor but the last few years, BB’s competitor which used to have competent salesmen, now had clueless guys working there so I decided to try BB again.
I had been to the warehouse and have seen 10 models of Samsung, I still was undecided and wanted to look at Sony TVs again so I went to BB. That was my lucky day, I met Amir, the manager of the Magnolia theater area, all I wanted was doing some looky loo but he was so knowledgeable, explained to me how Samsung differed from Sony so I was sold, next thing I knew I was buying a 75 inches Sony XBR75×940C, it had just dropped in price but still a hefty price of $ 6,000, more expensive than a comparable Samsung.
The Sony 4K TV turned out to be a lemon, the sound was inaudible at times and worse yet, it kept on crashing and demanding me to update the software, I had already updated it 5 times! I was frazzled when I told Amir what I went through, to my amazement, he immediately offered to either replace it with another set or with a Samsung of my choice. I heard this model had some issues that were corrected with subsequent updates, it was possible my set was made prior to when the problem was known.
After a lot of research I decided on having a new 4k Sony delivered. Now the nightmare started, they delivered a Floor model with no documentation, had I not asked for the glasses, I would have not known it was a used TV. Worse yet, the delivery guy, Miguel, I have his last name, he needed to work elsewhere, he was just ready to leave before he even started, he was impatient and was upset I insisted for him to wait till I finished calling BB to find out what happened, Amir called me back and that was when I found out the delivery warehouse made a terrible mistake, instead of giving me a new set, they delivered a floor model, Miguel had the audacity to tell me they did not have any more new Sony to send me, was he trying to tell me I should just accept the turkey? I was beyond angry. Amir was very nice, he asked me if I wanted a new set that very day, I told him I could wait, besides I doubt this joker would agree to it, he already told me there was no more TV to exchange for me! I agreed to a delivery 2 days later, well on the delivery day, I waited all day, it never came and nobody called. I called BB and BB delivery warehouse, nobody knew anything about it, finally somebody told me it was scheduled for the following day. That day came, again, nobody called, it was past 4pm, I called them 3 times, finally I was told it was delayed till 730pm, it was so rude to make people wait all day, especially this was the 3^rd delivery.
The only good thing about it was the delivery man this time was Arturo, he was knowledgeable and courteous.
Best Buy should do something about all the break downs in their delivery system, they need to correct this serious problem. A 2 stars for the delivery.
That said, I would still rate Best Buy a 4 stars and recommend this to anybody interested in a 4K TV, here is why: BB has the most 4K TV, all brands on display and a Magnolia theater room for you to enjoy and examine the difference, Amir was really friendly, knowledgeable and had great customer service manners. That is not all, BB had a price drop of $ 500, I immediately called BB customer service and explained I only received a working TV less than a week ago so the price warranty should apply to me, the lady helping me agreed and gave me a case number to get the price difference refund in the store.
BB had kept a good customer, I now go there for my electronics need, DVds, hdmi cables, you name it, it shows BB honors the pledge of the price match and price warranty, in this day and age, everybody is selling the same things, good customer service fosters loyalty.
I must add I made the right decision, I still have complete trust in Sony, I have 4 Sony TVs, they never ever broke down, the XBR Sony Triluminous color and overall experience are unique, there is no other 4K TV that can compete with Sony.

So a few months ago I bought a ps4 black ops 3 console. Some random kid said this ps4 is just an old ps4 with the old motherboard and isn’t worth the price.
I asked the rep and he said it was not true. When it actually is. The rep lied and now I paid 420+ for a ps4 when I could of bought one for cheaper with faster processing speed and motherboard.
I’m pretty furious after all the money i have spent at Best Buy. This is ridiculous. Way to lie to your customers to sell products.

This review is about 3 weeks old, sorry. Came down with a cold and didn’t see their email requesting I review my last visit.
So, another great experience. My daughter had one of her office computers crash, just kept rebooting etc so I decided to buy Windows 7 and just reinstall it and be done with it. Well anyone who has worked on computers (or cars) knows that it’s just now how it turns out in the real world.
Software comes in and I go to install the software and computer won’t read the DVD, zip ziltch, nada. Bios shows the drive is present but no matter what I do, won’t read the drive.
Pack up the computer and head to Best Buy, I’m thinking I’ll probably just buy an external drive and no problem. Well I’m glad I didn’t because Best Buy couldn’t get it to read the drive and when they used their external drive Bios showed it as being present but wouldn’t read theirs either.
