Bubble – T

Cool concept but nothing too outstanding here. They give you a ticket and menu with all the available toppings and add ons. The first two are free. The large is 3.50 and the medium is 3.00 both with tax already included. I got watermelon green tea with basil seeds and rainbow jelly. It was tasty but was all syrupy. You can also choose your sweetness level from 1 to 4. I chose 3 and that was surprisingly sweet to me since I have a big sweet tooth. I would change to 2 if I ever came back. You can also get shaved ice here with the same picking of add ons.
Service was quick and friendly. They did a good job of explaining the menu. I find the décor cute but tacky at the same time. The floor is a painted fish pond. It was cool but looked strange with the other things going on. It’s in a big plaza so parking is pretty easy.

This place is decorated pretty cutesy and the idea for being able to fill in a form of exactly how you want your drink is fun, but their drinks aren’t what I expected when I ordered.
I was one of the only ones there considering they haven’t been opened to the public very long since its grand opening. I ordered a hibicus tea with lychee jelly and strawberry, low sweetness, lots of ice.
It took about 5 minutes for my drink and what I was given was a plain iced tea with a weird aftertaste, slightly sweet with the lychee jelly and barely any strawberry bits.
Not a bad place to get a drink or study but I prefer to go elsewhere for a more flavorful tea.

A very very unique place. Love the atmosphere, the people and the food. Gosh i am like sooo delighted that this place is open. Definitely would recommend it for all of my friends !! :)

I had the hazlenut milk tea easy on the sweet and popcorn chicken. The popcorn chicken had those rice chips. Everything was so delicious. I can’t wait to come back. I also tried the taro milk tea with taro topping. It was so good. I never had anything like it. This place definitely stands out from the rest to me.

a very unique boba store that offers a very interesting experience. there are few steps that need to be done before you order your drink.
step 1. you choose the type of base you want (fresh milk, green tea, black tea, milk tea, thai tea, coffee, and yogurt)
step 2. you choose the flavors you like to mix with the base in step 1. some of the flavors they have include kiwi, passion fruit, watermelon, lychee, cantaloupe, hibiscus, green apple, peach, strawberry, mango, raspberry, and green apple.
step 3. choose your level of sweetness from 0 to 5
step 4. choose any two toppings you want in your drink. they have all sorts of jelly you can think off, all different flavors of pudding (they even have pandan and taro pudding), boba, and many other things that no other boba places have.
my experiment turned out to be a mixture of green tea + kiwi flavors + taro pudding + pandan pudding with level 1 sweetness. its very good and refreshing. the pudding wasnt as soft as your typical egg pudding, but i still like it. i also got to try my brother’s weird experiment. he got coffee + passion fruit + coconut jelly + green apple jelly with level 3 sweetness. even the person that makes his drink told us that this is the weirdest combination that hes ever made. the drink turned out to be very ‘interesting’ as the combination suggest. but my bro likes his drink. my guess is that he didnt want to admit the combination he choose taste weird! o well.
the also have 6 specialty drinks in case you cant make up your mind. ive tried their #2 specials (green tea, lychee, basil, orange, strawberry) and #4 (yogurt, durian, strawberry, lychee). both drinks turned out to be very good and perfect for summer weather. as for #4, the durian isnt that strong of a smell. but if you dont like durian, then dont even bother ordering it.
very cheap price. $ 1.99 for regular and $ 2.99 for large.
they also have snow ice at only $ 2.99. be aware that the snow ice here may be quite a disappointment for some people. the texture of the ice is very rough and not smooth enough.
parking is very easy to find since this place is located in a somewhat lonely plaza where not many people visit.

I came across this place while pumping gas at the gas station in the same corner.
I walked into Bubble-​T, and the place was empty. I was kinda confused, because most of the boba places I usually go to are crowded at around 3PM. And then again, Bubble-​T is not in a very noticeable location; if I didn’t see this place while pumping gas, I would’ve never learned about Bubble-​T.
The place had a nice décor, but it seemed a little dirty; it was like someone cleaned up slightly, but didn’t clean it thoroughly enough. It seems like a nice place to chill (if the place was cleaner).
I got a Peach Green Tea (I think) and it was exactly $ 3.00. *shrugs*, not too shabby. Apparently, Bubble-​T has a monthly raffle drawing for an iPad, which you enter if you order a large-​sized drink.
The wait wasn’t very long (not surprising; the place was empty). I kinda expected it to be bad, for some reason, but it was actually better than I thought it would be. The drink was really satisfying, and the boba had nice consistency.
Unfortunately, my drink had the least amount of boba I have ever gotten in a single drink. In the places I go to, I usually get three layers of boba, but this place had a little less than one full layer of boba. It’s not too bad, but it’s just like «oh… okay».
Maybe I’ll stop by Bubble-​T again, if I’m ever in the area. Hopefully, there will be more boba waiting.

I didn’t like this place. I came here because of the tempting offer of buy one get one free. so i got green milk tea and thai tea, and it was disappointing. It was so diluted and bland. It was not worth the money. I’d rather go to Banh Mi Che Cali to get boba!

Oh, I do love this place! I wish I lived closer, I would come more often I used to bring a lot of my friends here to hang out after church. A lot of seats to sit and talk without being rushed. Best part is being able to customize my drink. I really can’t have anything too sweet, I can’t handle that sugar high! When they first opened it took the workers some time to make the drinks, but they’re very improved now. Owner is very nice to sit and chat with. Also very handy with their iPad technology for cashier pay, and it’s hard to beat their ongoing promotions for boba that is so extremely cheap!

About the place, like many other Unilocaler said, this place is definitely doesn’t have many parking space. Even though they have a parking underground, I don’t think many people will want to park down there and walk all the way up just to buy some boba. However, according to the owner, he will have someone drive your car down there to park and drive them up for you when you done, like a valley parking at some other restaurant, which I think is really nice if he can pull that off.
Ok, now come to the main thing, the drink xD If it’s your first time here, and confuse with their menu system, try to go with their special drink first. My all time drink that I order when I came here is lychee milk tea with boba and lychee, or popping lychee. My second drink is strawberry blended with strawberry jam. I don’t really like their thai tea. To me, I think the thai tea is too much tea and not many milk in there (this is just my personal reference, because I see lot of customers there love the thai tea =] so…)
Over all, I think this place is not so bad. If they keep up with what they are doing (or they said they will do) and keep on improving, then I think this will be a really nice place to hang out.
P/​s: A side note x] there are not many people working here, only the owner, so it take some time for your drink to be done. Sometime they have another person there to help but I don’t think that help much.

I gave a good review before while the old owner was around but he left and appointed a new female owner in his place. I think it went pretty down hill when she came in, introducing the food items which gave me very bad food poisoning… I ordered the popcorn chicken which was made to order but it didnt taste like chicken, it tasted like uncooked batter, dried and powdery in a way, not edible in any way, I pretty much threw it away after 2 bites. The drinks are also inconsistent, they don’t taste the same the second time ordering the same drink.
I take back my high rating and give bubble T a low rating for their bad food that gave me food poisoning and the way they make their drinks being inconsistent

This place is pretty neaty I must admit but it’s just a little awkward.
Entering this place I wasn’t expecting much to be honest because of all the reviews. It smelled like smoke, but there was signs that said no smoking. Girl. Follow your own rules you set at this place. People like me got asthma!
My friend and I ordered and waited for our drinks. It took awhile. and there was no music playing and it was just really awkward. There’s old tennis player men inside and outside of the shop. I think it was also one of their offices also because there was a printer/​faxer and a lot of papers.
We also heard the microwave go on and off and wondered what they needed the microwave for ??? And we saw them take out hot water. what the hell?
The men working here obviously aren’t the owners. The owner probably hired her dad and his friends to work here… I feel bad for them because they were so nice!
Like said in one of the other reviews the drink lacks flavor but it’s only $ 1.50 so I guess…

I came here with my gf. Hardly a crowd which was how I liked it. Most boba joints are crowded with kids. I had the Special 6 which was a milk tea with coconut jelly, almond pudding, and strawberries. I like the combination, but strawberries were really sour. The amount of jelly, pudding, and strawberries were generous. Great place to get a drink; especially since it is Bogo. I’ll def come back to try the other unique flavors they had to offer.
Parking is quite small and tend to be difficult since it is shared with a tutoring center and other offices.

Is it possible to give it a negative star? I’ ve been to this place twice and the first time the drink was okay but I really liked the pudan pudding so the second time I came back with my sister.
The second time I came back was a big mistake!
First let’s start with the sanitation HE MADE MY DRINKS AFTER HE SMOKED AND DIDN’T WASH HIS HAND! Wtf seriously?
Second, the drink it self was horrible it didn’t taste anything like the first time with the green tea over powering everything else…
I think the worse part about this experience was seeing the guy who made my drink grab lychee out of the container bare handed, knowing that he was smoking and probably coughing all over it… Never coming back again. I do not recommend this place at all.

Got our drinks & #4 did NOT have ALL the ingredients inside my drink as listed on the partially taped menu. It was missing the main ingredient, Passion Fruit! Really?! Total FAIL for a new store. Drinks were not great.

Bubble-​t is trying hard to offer a unique boba experience to Little Saigon, and I sincerely hope they succeed in that endevour. Though before that can happen, they should probably find a rhythm for their hours and workers. When I dropped by the first time, they were unexpectedly closed, the second time they were open but only the owner was working. I had a nice chat with him about the place and ordered a regular milk tea with boba. Hiring and training some employees will definitely help him boost business as well as the quality of their menu.
The milk tea was so-​so. Being nothing special or extraordinary about it, but it wasn’t a bad drink. They’ve since improved upon their boba cooking, and the boba does taste more like it should, slightly chewy on the outside and gooey on the inside.
If Bubble-​t continues with its soft opening and continues to improve upon its recipes and menus and hires and trains employees, it has the possibility of being a great addition to the Little Saigon market. just need some work.

I really like the concept of «building your own boba drink,» and love that the service was so friendly. However, I think that the drinks do need some improvement… The boba got hard really fast once it is mixed with the iced cold drink… The flavor also needs to be more exact. I couldn’t exactly taste the flavor that I ordered…
The prices are really good, but if the taste can improve, it would definitely be 5 starts. EASILY.

Bought the Unilocal deal and headed on over here yesterday to try out the new boba place in town, and here’s the deal.
There were some old guys there that were SUPER friendly and nice to us as we were ordering. He explained the process, and I’m gonna guess he was the owner, but urged the cashier to ask us about how we liked our drinks afterwards.
Sadly, the cashier guy was the total opposite of them, as he was confused, lacked training, and not very friendly and sociable. But I guess they evened out. I would suggest to add friendlier cashiers.
Onto the drinks, I got a passionfruit green tea with boba and aloe vera. Pretty good for the price, and I LOVE how you can customize everything. (Pics posted)
I think the idea of the place is awesome, its a cute place, with potential. Things I would suggest is to cover up the entrance into the kitchen as well as the little window, as you can see all the stuff in the back, which isn’t very appealing.
Will definitely come back in a few weeks to see any changes.

This is my new go-​to place for Boba tea. First let me start by saying the menu may look a little confusing, it is not at all. It is just a simple steps of 1,2,3, and 4. I like to create my own special concoction because I am very picky person. I like to have most of my food customized. My drink is green tea, unsweetened with grass jelly, pandan pudding, and yogurt Pobbles. I love their Pandan pudding. It really smell and taste like Pandan, not the subtlely flavored stuff you get from other boba joint. I like that the drink is not filled with ice and just a tiny bit of tea and toppings. Most boba place fill their cup with ²⁄₃ with ice and ¹⁄₃ with tea, that is not worth the price they are charging for the drinks. Bubble T does not skimp on their teas or toppings. They also uses many fresh seasonal fruits in their drinks. One of their special drink comes with fresh Dragonfruit pieces, and Dragonfruit is not a cheap fruit. I don’t remember any boba joint use real Dragonfruit.
The workers are very friendly and willing to please. If you don’t like your drink, let them know, and they will make it right. They will make it the way you like it. Drinks are average price for around the area of Westminster, 3.00 for a regular size and 3.50 for large.
I will be back for more Pandan Pudding for sure.

Super friendly service and great décor. Always willing to answer any questions about their unique ‘create your own’ menu, which I think is a great concept. I especially like that you can choose your level of sweetness because while I’ve got a sweet tooth, edging on the side of too sweet turns me off, so this is a wonderful option Bubble T offers. Will definitely be coming back to satisfy my frequent Boba cravings. Oh! And super yummy cream puffs served with fresh bits of strawberries, blueberries, and whipped cream. Im not a whipped cream fan, but becausr it was so fresh it complemented the cream puff well. If you’re in the area, be sure to give them a try.

Wow the first reviewer looks like she made an account just to flag this place LOL! YAY FOR NEW BOBA PLACES GALORE! It’s located in a pretty crappy location, with a small parking lot and some slight puzzle solving required in order to figure out how to get inside, since there’s a railing blocking the direct pathway.
It’s a pretty small place, similar to that of teazone/​lollicup. The menu itself looks kind of confusing, but after a few minutes it just clicked.
For their core drinks, you pretty much create your own. You get your base flavor (green tea, thai tea, milk, milk tea, etc.), then you pick your flavor of syrup (passionfruit, strawberry, mango, etc.), and then you choose two toppings (boba, popping boba, mango pudding, etc.) It comes out to 3.55 for a regular, or 3.95 for a large. They’re not too heavy on ice thankfully, but the portions seems kind of small for what they’re worth.
They also have «special Ts», which range from numbers 1 – 6, and have their own assortment. I got the number 5, which is milk (like literally, it’s milk pretty much), strawberry jam, mango budding, and popping boba. It usually comes with boba, but since they ran out, I got popping boba (which is a substitution I highly recommend)
It tastes really great actually. It’s a lot better than most other drinks I’ve gotten from other boba places nearby! The strawberry jam just compliments the milk so well! There was hardly any ice, but just enough to keep it cool and refreshing.
They also have shaved snow, but ran out so I didn’t get to try it :/​I’ll be back for a second review for sure.
For their grand opening, I expected some sort of discount, but alas, there was none. I was quite disappointed. The owner is quite nice and asks you about your drinks and such. She’s really pretty. A very nice ABG indeed.
Service seems very odd. It’s like all the workers are sons/​daughters of the owner. They try though so I’m not too harsh since they just opened.
All in all, I think it’s fair to try it out. I’d just stick to the special Ts, since I tried their milk tea and it was quite bland.
