The duck is burnt, way over cooked, the broth too salty. They charge $ 3 for a little extra veggie and 25 cents for extra pickle. Lousy service.

I’m not really a Unilocaler, but I got to give this restaurant credit. I’ve been in America for more than15 years and I’ve never had a good Mi Vit Tiem(Duck Stewed Noodles). I remembered my favorite noodle back in vietnam is Mi Vit Tiem; I had tried other restaurants’ Mi Vit Tiem in America but they didn’t taste like what I had in Vietnam. Until one day, I took my sister to Asain Mall(Phuoc Loc Tho) to buy gift for her friend. After few hours looking for gift we decided to go home, but then we got hungry and we saw a noodle restaurant, Cao Diem Mi Gia, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered Mi Vit Tiem and my little sister ordered Co Chien Bo Luc Lac(Diced Beef Fried Rice), it was good!!! *Cross my heart* and I even told my sister, «I’ve found my second home!» haha. I emptied my bowl and my sister finished her plate. We were full and happy so is our tummyyy *Yummy in the Tummyy**

Eh. This place was randomly selected by my party during an evening stroll at the nighttime Tet market. Considering how busy it was outside, our first red flag should have been the fact that there was empty tables inside. Not knowing what to get, I opted for the Hu Tieu Bo Kho. The waitress told me minutes later they were out of that. Darn. If you ever go to unknown places, its always safe to order something that would be hard to mess up. Anyway, I settled on the Hu Tieu Dac Biet(White Noodle House Special). The noodles are disgusting. Soggy. And thin. Not the thick ones. Looked more like the noodles you find in dry Bun. The meat offering was pathetic as well, considering the bowl was nearly $ 7(pricey for Little Saigon). I also picked out a few dead flying insects that happened to be in the broth. Yum. Not once during the 30 minutes or so my group was there was there a line formed at the door to eat at this happening place. All the while outside, at the Tet night market there were crowds around the food stands. Cash/Card accepted — however the cards carry a $ 20 minimum transaction. Considering the area, there are plenty of much more favorable dining options than this place.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant out because it was recommended by my co-worker. I tried their house special noodle and she tried the crunchy seafood noodle. My bowl was OK but her dish was terrible. It was overcooked and the seafood portion was tinny, foul-smelling, and tastes VERYBAD. This place was VERY expensive compare with other restaurants nearby. They take CASHONLY — so check your wallet before dine there. We would NEVER comeback to this restaurant again!
