Love that this part of town is getting more and more restaurants that aren’t big national chains! I ordered their South of the Border salad and Chicken gorgonzola pizza. The pizza was too die for. I would go back just for that. I wasn’t impressed with the salad, but that could because of the ordering process. You’re at a salad bar, and you can say add this or more of that. And my husband ordered for me. It ended up tasting like a big bowl of lettuce with hardly any toppings or dressing. Lesson learned, don’t let the husband order. But I will be back to try more pizzas!

Nope. So bad. The ordering process, the food, the shape of the salad bowls, all of it. My salad was gritty, my kids didn’t like the pizza and then I took a bite and understood why. The sauce tastes like chemicals and cleaning solution. I watched the salad guy touch his nose 4 times when making someone’s salad(after mine, at least). It’s really disorganized, and was dead on a Saturday afternoon which says a lot to begin with. Worst $ 30(on a salad and 2 kids pizzas) I’ve ever spent.

Just moved in to the MileHouse apartments above this place… and I’ll be eating here A LOT. This place is delicious and I’m so excited to go back. The salads are amazing and so are the pizzas… and everything is very decently priced! This is a DEFINITE visit if you haven’t been here yet. YUM!

Update since last review… service was actually very decent, and the food seemed to be much fresher than last time… for now we’re planning on visiting again.

This was my first time at Crushed Red. I think I’ve found my new fave. I ordered the Wild Spring Salmon salad, which was delicious. My friend had the Tunapalooza and liked it as well. Food was fresh and delicious. I love that they serve wine and beer! Not a huge selection, but nice all the same. I’m docking them a star(should be two, but being that it was my first time…) because of two reasons. 1) the person preparing my friend’s sale was a trainee. He wasn’t the problem. The problem was the person training him… she wasn’t wearing gloves & kept touching my friend’s food. I really wanted to say something, but my friend let it slide. 2) the ordering process. Wtf? Certain things you have to order on the screen, others directly. A little confusing. And I can guarantee that if I came here with my husband & kids, it would be very cumbersome as everyone would want something different and then I’d have to explain it all over again while paying. And for that reason, I will not be bringing my family here, but I will be back meeting a friend or just alone.

We were looking to try a new place that would be accommodating to my wife’s gluten free needs and this place was that and more. Not only did Erin break everything down for us she was extremely nice and pleasant. But their gluten free pizza was better then any gluten free options we’ve tried before. She got the gluten free Margarita pizza and I got the regular shrimp and artichoke. To die for. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed and the lady tending to the wine and drink station went out of her way to check on us. Overall definitely a place we will be returning too.

So this is an update. I went again with a friend and children. Part of the problem that j can’t put my finger on became clear. The ordering process. The menu on the video screen, in front of you and on a menu — way too much going on. And finally. Order pizza from the person ringing it in, walk over for those that are ordering salad and then have to recap the whole thing to someone at the register with drinks. It could be refined and made so much better. I liked the food so much better after I realized I was filled with angst over the process.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was really good for a decent price. I went with basic pizza and soup and they knocked it out of the park on both. Service was good. And we had carroller’s!

We love this place. Now I will say first and foremost, we do not dine-in at this location. We always do Take Out orders so that is the context from which I am reviewing this restaurant. Firstly, i love their flatbread. It absolutely rocks. I also love their black bean soup. I usually go for Panera’s black bean soup, but CR’s is MUCH better… it has a bit of a kick to it. My wife loves their salads in every combination. When we are being lazy and not wanting to cook, CR has become our go to take out location here in Broomfield.

I love the friendliness of the staff and the freshness and variety of their food. They serve pre-built pizzas or you can customize your own. They also do the same with their delicious salads as well. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious and open. Obviously, you are paying a premium for the novelty of this place and the higher quality of food. If you want some cheaper pizza, order from Dominos. Definitely give this place a try if you are in the area. Oh. I also recommend the garlic flatbread.

My mom got a coupon here since its new at the orchard so we thought we’d give it a try for lunch one day. The employees were very helpful in showing us how things worked and where to go to order what. My mom ordered a build your own salad, and I built myself a pizza. There were lots of options to choose from on the pizza and nothing was overly expensive(started around $ 6.50). The salad my mom built was about that same price and turned out huge! They chop it up right in front of you and add as much dressing as you want. I tend to stay away from anything green myself, but even this looked good to me! Overall her salad was great, my pizza was yummy(get the balsamic reduction to go with it– you won’t be disappointed!) and the employees were awesome. We will definitely be back and recommend to others! A fantastic new restaurant!

Gluten free galore! I had the Farmers Market salad. It had warm roasted turkey breast cubes, goat cheese, sunflower seeds, apples, & cranberries with field greens and honey mustard dressing. It was all gluten free. It was fabulous! We really needed a salad place like this in the area. For the gluten free pizza I had the Fire Roasted Veggie. It had artichokes, portabellas, onion, tomato, red pepper, black olive, & Crushed Red mozzarella blend with fresh rosemary. The gluten free crust was like a gourmet flatbread. Really good! Near the door they had garlic, red pepper flakes and some other condiments that I used to spice up the pizza and salad. Loved it all and will be back soon to try their other options!

Love this place! First time here and came with a group of a dozen women. They made paying on a single tab very easy and even delivered our food to our tables outside. Love having my Blue Moon here too! I’ll definitely be back, the menu has plenty of interesting options.

Unprofessional! Not supporting this restaurant. I had seen the«Crushed Red’ signage from my car several times while driving through The Orchard. It was a Friday night and I mentioned to my husband that we should try the restaurant out to support local business. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly host that explained to us how their ordering worked. ‘Hot’ food to be ordered at the first register, ‘cold’ food(salads) down the line and drinks after that. My husband ordered our pizzas/soup at the register, while I went down the line to order a salad. As I was standing in front of the salad counter, my husband went to order drinks and then pay. It was a little obnoxious because we had to talk out loud, shouting back and forth: H: What salad did you get? me: deLUXberry Crunch H: Do you want a drink? me: No H: What drink should we get for our kid? me: milk Shouldn’t there be an easier way for a family to order without haven’t to shout back and forth in a restaurant? We sat down and our food arrived shortly after that. Noticing it came out extremely fast, maybe because of the efficient ordering system, but really the pizza could have used a few more minutes to be crispier. My husband had the Yukon Gold Steakhouse: it was OK, nothing compared to the Yukon Gold Potato at Serious Pie in Seattle, WA. I had the Shrimp & Artichoke: ehhhhhh, I shouldn’t have ordered a shrimp pizza. If you think about it, shrimp on pizza doesn’t sound appetizing. I am sure if I ordered shrimp pizza anywhere else, it still wouldn’t have tasted good. We shared the deLUXberry Crunch salad, which was delicious. I would recommend it. Our kid had the chicken noodle soup: unappetizing. So the unprofessional part of this review is when we were sitting down outside eating our meal. My back was to the entrance of the restaurant and there were several other tables behind me. Before I went to sit down and join my family outside, I had noticed two employees(wearing Crushed Red uniforms) sitting at an outside table with several other people. Note: I worked in the food industry and I know that employees in uniform should never be sitting down with customers for an extended amount of time. Usually it is just the GM walking around checking to see how everything is going. These employees(whom I think were the owners) were sitting at a table for the entire time we were at the establishment. Whilst eating I heard cussing about this and about that and a person, said ‘watch the language, kids’, then hearing, ‘I don’t give an *uck’. I was cringing in my seat, asking my husband, ‘oh, are they high school kids?’ However my husband said, ‘No, just trashy people.’ I slowly turned around to see who was really sitting at the table: 2 employees and a few adults. I am assuming that the table of adults were friends/family of the owners or management, just hanging around making the restaurant look busy. If that was what they were their for, then they accomplished that. However, whom the employees were associated to at that table has tainted my view of the restaurant. We will not be supporting this restaurant and will not recommend it to friends.

Very good for fast casual. Menu’s a bit confusing(they acknowledged some printer errors), and they’re a bit over-engaged with customer in explaining the concept and soliciting feedback on it: they’re like a new puppy of a restaurant. But they should be proud, they’re better than most.

We really liked this place!!! Shannon, one of the owners immediately came out to greet us and explained the menu. I ordered the South of the Boarder salad and added the chipotle BBQ chicken. It was delicious! My husband ordered the Sriracha chicken pizza. He liked it, but it was heavy on the Parmesan. It didn’t stop him from eating it though. We have been coming to the Orchard for 8 years now. The choices have been limited. It’s great that we have a more healthy choice in the neighborhood. We’ll be back for half price bottles of wine Wednesday’s! Thanks for the tip, Shannon!

We finally tried this for the first time today. Super cute and comfortable dining room and a nice patio too. The ordering process is a bit complicating and I felt bad for the girls at the front that had to explain it over and over and over again to anyone that had never eaten there before. But after we ordered and paid We had pizzas, soups and brownies. All of the food was brought out to us and was very good. Unfortunately we discovered too late there were fresh pizza toppings like Parmesan cheese, crushed pepper, etc., on the way out the door.(At least now we know for next time.) everyone there was very nice. We’ll go back for sure.

I was excited about the salad at this place as I LOVE Mad Greens. The kid who chopped my salad(they chop all the salads), greens, onions and tomatoes, chopped it salad so much that when mixed with the dressing it turned into a wet brown-greenish cold soup at the bottom of the bowl. My toddler had the chicken noodle soup and spat out the noodles. They appear home made(there) and are thick and mushy. I walked out Very disappointed.

Ordered take out for the first time from this place. Got a BBQ chipotle salad, 5 cheese pizza, and the pepperoni/sausage/mushroom pizza. Came to about $ 25. Our order was ready in about 10 mins so very quick! The pizzas were tasty, the meat one was definitely better than the cheese, but they are definitely individual size. The salad was yummy with a small kick to it. I don’t think I’d go here again anytime soon though. I felt like the prices were a bit high for the portion size.
