Meet the Manager

Dr. Andrian N.

Manager

Welcome to Eye Smart Optometry! Dr. Andrian Leon Nguyen grew up in Los Angeles and received his B.S. in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles. He was honored with the UCLA Chancellor Service Award for his involvement in the Vietnamese Student Union as co-​president, student government, honor societies, and community service. His favorite activity was tutoring youths at Westminster High School for three years.

Dr. Nguyen continued his education at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his doctorate degree in Optometry. He completed clinical externships at the Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System in Washington State, La Clinica in Oakland, and Alameda County Medical Center.

Dr. Nguyen is licensed by the National State Board of Examiners in Optometry and the California State Board, and is certified for Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease and patient care. He speaks Vietnamese, Spanish, and basic Korean.
