Furaha Contemporary Photography

I met Furaha during her work with my fraternity event and inquired about some personal work. I recently moved to OC from Miami and have been asked for updated model/​actor headshots and portfolio work. A pleasant conversation with Furaha resulted in the scheduling of a two part photo session to execute my professional needs.
What impressed me the most with Furaha was her creative imagination to capture the dynamic moments and expressions. Her vision was/​is quite remarkable as well. She will sit with you and verbally visualize the shoot to its entirety.

With her [Furaha] each shoot I’ve done with her captured a very different feel. When going over comps with agents, they asked repeatedly…“and these are from the same photographer?”.

You can’t find a better photographer than Furaha. We met at a coffee shop beforehand to discuss what I was hoping for from the shoot. Although I had some concrete ideas I wanted for my portfolio, Furaha came up with some excellent ideas that I hadn’t thought of. She really understood what I wanted and that showed on the day of the shoot.
Furaha is very prompt and thorough. She captured all the formal ideas that we had discussed, but she was also flexible and open to capture many terrific candid shots. She was very supportive and encouraging during the shoot which I really appreciated. Her best advice was «Peter, just be you…» I took chances with some of the shots and exposed myself (physically as well as emotionally) but my trust was rewarded. The pictures she took were INCREDIBLE! Her sense of framing, understanding of lighting, and attention to detail combined to create flattering yet authentic pictures. If you are seeking truly professional, magazine grade photos then I highly recommend you hire Furaha… you’ll get tremendous value.

Furaha is great. I have worked with her for more than a year, photographing events for my fraternity’s events. She is timely, responsive, flexible, creative, and delivery great results. You can’t ask for more than that.
