History
Established in 2006.
In 1976, a first generation family of skilled bakers from Carini, Sicily began operations at the very first restaurant in Hanover, PA. The owner, Salvatore Marciano, quickly grew operations in the Southern/Central Pennsylvania and Maryland area. Salvatore named these restaurants after his wife’s maiden name Genova, thus began The Genova’s To Go Italian Restaurant operations.
Genova’s To Go signature items remain the same as when they first opened. We make our very own unique, delicious, sub rolls and bake them fresh throughout each day. We also make our own pizza dough that is hand tossed to perfection each an every order. Our pizza and marinara sauce recipes are made on premise. We pride ourselves on our sauces having low acidic, fresh tomato, and basil flavors. Our homemade lasagna is the same recipe used since opening, and a favorite request of our customers.
