Great atmosphere. A warm and inviting bar area is always a favorite place to sit and have wine while finishing up work. The menu is delicious and changes once and awhile which is always welcomed. Great wine selection. One of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time.

So, this place ‘s food is amazing! French onion soup, Strawberry Napoleon Dessert, Brussel sprouts: top notch! Service, in general, was good. Great wine recommendations. What was disappointing is we ordered wagyu beef steaks ($ 40 steaks) with a variation of au poivre. The steaks came with a thick peppercorn layer and no sauce. As we ate it, we were both surprised by the harshness and that it didn’t come with a sauce, but we figure it’s an amazing restaurant and the chef knows what he was doing. Eventually, we both scrapped off most of the pepper and heavily salted our steaks which I’ve never had to do at a place of this caliber. In the end I told my waiter and he said the steak was supposed to come with sauce which is suppose to balance the dish. Well, WTF! Chef and waiter didn’t catch this. In the end we got the check and it was my birthday and it was $ 400 for two people with no comps or apology from the chef. Seriously? Our waiter said he talked to the general manager and he didn’t feel a need to comp us anything. If I served steak au poivre or some variation in my house without the sauce I would be horrified and I’m not a professional chef. He went back to the general manager and comped out desserts ($ 15). Our $ 80 worth of steaks should have been a 10 and were a 6 at best since we seasoned them ourselves and we didn’t have a complete dish. The chef screwed up the dish and they expected us to pay for it. Excellent restaurants properly compensate screw-​ups. If we do come back we’ll be extra mindful of our food which we shouldn’t need to do for the price of this place.

The crab cakes are phenomenal. We came after 2 and ordered off of the lounge menu. Reasonably priced and great food.

My wife and I came here for an anniversary dinner. Nice quiet night out. We had that no doubt. Service is fantastic the flavors are incredible food is very good. We went all out so the bill was incredible as well. I gave it 4 stars and the reason I did this is the cut of meat. I’m a little confused about this due to the atmosphere and quality of everything we had. The lobster tail was so good I couldn’t believe it. For the money I would think the cut of meat would be top notch. It wasn’t on either plate. I made a comment we should’ve stopped by the road house and picked out steaks to have them prepare. Over all I have to say it’s a great night out.

The food and service was great! Their Wagyu beef was very tasty across multiple dishes. Mac and cheese with crab was excellent! Highly recommended!

Had friends from out of town try this place with me. Came as a recommendation from our CEO, so we had to try it.
Definitely some of the better steaks I’ve had in the area. I’m giving the rating 4 out of 5 stars due to the fact that the Prime Rib that I had was a little fattier than most cuts I’ve had in the past (which means it’s a cheaper cut). Given that, however, it was perfectly cooked. Center cut, and all.
Would highly recommend them. Next time I go, I’ll have to try the Porterhouse! (A marriage of Sirloin and Petite Filet in one, for those who are unfamiliar.)

We have been here several times, both in the bar and the dining area. The food is always excellent. They have a great wine list at very reasonable prices. The service is always friendly, helpful and prompt. This place will remain on our list of places to dine.

I was there all day camped out on a business trip layover and the staff was awesome while I sat in a booth and worked for 4 – 5 hours. Thumbs up.

Tried out this Steakhouse and was pleased. Great bar and lounge area.
Average pricing on a la carte menu items, plus daily specials. Sunday special for Prime Rib was a deal at $ 34 a person and included salad/​soup, sides and glass of wine. Filet was great, garlic whipped potatoes were excellent.

Absolutely fantastic food! We went for a big celebration, yet never told the staff that, and still got the royal treatment. The steak melted in my mouth and the wine soothed my soul. Highly recommend!

Service — 5 stars, hands-​down. Our hostess and server definitely were on top of their game.
Food, a different story. I had a house salad, eh it was okay. Then I had scallops. They were overcooked, rubbery, no sauce, placed on top of bland rice mounds (not even a very creative plating), paired with sad limp asparagus. I wept for the scallops, who once aspired to be a delightful meal for me.
I did like my pear martini. Service and cocktail got you to 3 stars. I’ll say again, I am very picky with my restaurants, so if you like chain restaurant fare, you’ll like this place.

I have been here three times and each time had amazing food and amazing service! Twice for dinner and once for lunch. The steaks, OMG, are phenomenal with multiple options for sauces if you desire. Prime steaks, aged, cooked over charcoal. Excellent! Also available are salmon, scallops, shrimp, lobster, veal, chicken, ribs, pork chops and more. Potatoes options include garlic whipped, twice bake, White Cheddar Au Gratin, blue cheese fingerlings and more.
Drink options abound and there is a nice bar with live music (at least when we went on Friday evening)
Not cheap but worth every penny!

Thrilled to try their crab stuffed salmon with a lemon caper sauce. It was a dry rendition that begged for more. Presentation was pretty. Service was sub par. This meal came with 4 courses. I would not recommend.

Everything was almost perfect. The happy hour drinks were great… The waiter was very knowledgeable on the menu and specials (taking his recommendation was worth it). And to top it off, I barely spoke of my girlfriends birthday. the hostess overheard and they treated us to a great dessert at the end. Very surprised.
Not my first time here, and every time it gets better.
Nice not having to drive downtown to one of the bigger steak places for a great experience.

Short Story:
I enjoyed every moment of the comically bad service and a ruined $ 44 steak, because this is the grand prize winner of the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
Long Story:
When I entered the restaurant on a Monday night at 7pm there was no one to greet me. I waited for 2 minutes, then decided to sit in the bar. I stood in the bar for a moment or two trying to decide if I would sit at at the bar or at a table. The two bartenders did everything they could to avoid eye contact. I sat down at a table and watched the female bartender serve another nearby table, and walk back into the kitchen without a word to me.
At this point I knew the service would be hilariously bad.
She finally returned and approached my table witch what I can only describe as an expression of sheer disappointment. I felt like maybe she would have been sent home early if I hadn’t come in. She said, «what are you having?», and I asked for a menu. Maybe when when she rolled her eyes and walked away it was because someone else was supposed to have given me one. Maybe.
She returned with the menu, did not offer to get me a drink, but did come back again about 5 minutes later to ask, «Did you decide?»
«How can I pass up the steak?»
«How would you like it?»
«Medium»
“Anything to drink?”
«Well, its a $ 44 dollar steak! I’m not even sure what to pair it with.»
«…»
“I mean, that will be the most expensive filet I’ve ever eaten. I want to get it right. It’s a big deal, right?”
«Sure.»
“I guess a red wine…”
«Reds are on this page.»
«Okay how about this one.»
«Okay. I’ll be right back with your wine.» [Starts to walk away]
«Wait, shouldn’t I have a cocktail first? Like, a bourbon or whiskey first? I mean, it’s a $ 44 filet!»
«What kind?»
«Makers, neat.»
«What?»
“Makers Mark, neat please.”
«uhhh… kay»
The Makers was delivered without a word. The filet arrived shortly after. Much too soon, and without the wine. Here is the best part: The filet was alone on the plate. Nothing else but a unimpressive $ 44 hunk of meat, and when I cut it open, it was raw. Not rare: it was cold to the touch.
I waited patiently for 4 – 5 minutes for my little charmer to come back. I pointed out the problem and she quickly took the plate back to the kitchen. The manager returned with a butterflied steak, apologized, and asked me to cut it in front of him. It was med-​rare. He said, «Oh that’s still not medium.» I said, «I can do med rare.» However, in this moment I realized they had crossed a line. I had a revelation.
If you mess up a $ 44 steak, and especially if it is the only thing on the plate, you START OVER. You DO NOT BUTTERFLY IT.
Now I had two $ 22 fillets that were both dry and overcooked on the outside, and under cooked on the inside. If I closed my eyes and used my imagination I could almost sense what it would have tasted like if it had been done properly in the first place, and it was still nothing special.
The manager comped me a day old reme brûlée, so everything is fine.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! only thing is, I wish this place had extended hours… other than that it’s amazing all around… pricey but worth it, healthy drinks that taste amazing! ADRIAN the bartender is so awesome… if you want a perfect drink and service that rocks just ask for him!
HIDEAWAY you are the bomb!

I have been to happy hour at the Hideaway in the past, but tried dinner tonight.
We ordered the ribeye. The presentation was beautiful and the sides taste great, however, our 46.00 steak was tough and had no taste. We ordered it medium rare, and it was gray in the middle. I would suggest Elways over this place for the price. It is beautiful but spend your money elsewhere…

My fiancée and I had our post valentine lunch here.
Everyday they have a different special. I’ve had their steak lunch special here before, which was so juicy and amazing. This time around, I had the wrap lunch special that had crab and shrimp with fresh fruit on the side. The wrap was very large portioned as I could only eat half, but it was very fresh tasting and delicious. On the other hand, the fruit was very floral tasting and not as juicy as fruit normally are.
My fiancée had their French onion soup which was very hot and cheesy, but delicious nonetheless. For his main course, he had the BBQ sandwich lunch special. He said it was nothing to rave about and it was just ok.
Obviously we didn’t try their main dish of steak, but their offers of non-​steak dishes were decent enough and reasonably priced.

2 STAR FOOD and 5 STAR SERVICE. Priced in the Capital Grill Range But Not The Quality! 4 Adults Bill Was $ 336.35 Tax $ 20.54 Tip $ 70.00 (EXCELLENT SERVICE) Total Bill $ 426.89
The server was one of the best we have encountered. The presentation of the food was awesome. The food itself was VERY sub par for the price. Ordered steaks medium rare, came medium to medium well, manager thought other wise but agreed to redo it, came back medium (not pink at all — slightly red) oooh well! Forgot to put topping on my wife’s steak, they took it back and must have microwaved it as it was a bit over done now and a bit tougher. Veggies and sides were not as impressive at all.
Crème Brule was average at best. We had just been to another steak house in Westminster the week before and maybe they spoiled us.

The Chef should be working at Outback not an expensive restaurant like this. (actually I have had better steaks at the Outback)
Price would have been ok if it was Sullivan’s, Chop House, Capital Grill, Elway’s or even The Old Neighborhood Qaulity.
