Great place for a group. We had 36 and our waiter, Mike, was awesome at always making sure we had food and drinks. Good prices, bright atmosphere, live music on one side, with pool and a huge bar on the other. I will definitely be back.

I was surprised and delighted by my experience at Hoffbrau. I expected a sub par bar dinner for some freinds’ birthday celebration, but got much more than I was prepared for. The exterior of Hoffbrau looks like you are walking into a liquor store and not a sports bar, but upon entry your senses will be overwhelmed by a wide open layout, many pool tables, and an eclectic array of classic and current athlete jerseys in frames all over the walls. The interior décor is cool, but what made the visit special was the array of games and the availability to the many patrons. There were lots of pool tables, multiple dart boards and a shuffleboard table. The shuffleboard table made my night. The hosts were dumb, but the servers were attentive and nice. And the food was surprisingly high quality bar food. I will probably return to Hoffbrau again, but I will need a special occasion and a large party to not choose other restaurants first for my meal.

New space is nice but trying to sit at a high top appears to be a problem. The last few times we have come in we have asked for a high top table and we are met with attitude from the hostesses. Several high tops were empty. Lose the attitude and learn good customer service. There are other places we can go to

We love going to Hoffbrau but every time we make a reservation I request on the dance floor. We always have issues with that and we are always there early. But the manager was really nice and had s table empty probably ours anyway. It’s so easy to make reservations at other venues like qs we just call and reserve. I hope we won’t have issues anymore we love coming here

I’ve been here several times in the last few years, always on weekends. I have had a great time every time. Always had good food and never had a problem getting a drink. This place is super crowded for a reason. If you go to a bar like this feeling entitled to a beer within 60 seconds, then yes, you’ll be disappointed. If you’re going for fun with a diverse crowd out here I the burbs, then by all means come on down.

The only problem with watching a sporting event on tv is that the tvs are on the roof… you get a twisted neck after you leave the bar…

I will make this quick. I never send food back. I’ve just sent my food back here though. I got the NY Strip. Bite one: kinda gross. Bite two: even more so, something isn’t right. From this point I’ve edited my initial review so I’m not making scientific claims that I cannot support. What I will say is that I was served food in this restaurant that should not have been allowed out of the kitchen, and I will not be back.

BUTWAIT, THERE’S MORENOW… And here is where I edit my review again and share the whole story after being insulted in a message by the ignorant, most likely drunken GM of this restaurant. I WASSERVEDROTTENBEEF! ROTTEN!!! The waitress was embarrassed/humiliated, and we felt bad for her because it wasn’t her fault. The Shift Manager was also embarrassed and we paid a total of $ 10 for two-drinks, an app, and my wife’s food($ 50 value, allegedly) due to the Manager’s embarrassment. The meat smelled heinous, and my 1.5-bites only left me a little bit sick later that night. To top it off, I ordered something else after the apologies from the waitress and Manager, and 45-minutes later I had not received my food, so we left. AVOIDTHISPLACE!

Our waitress Kayli gets huge Kudos!!! She was awesome. I don’t know how she did such a great job of managing so many people and providing such great service in such chaos. :0)

Good food and drinks are priced right. My only complaint is sometimes it gets too crowded for my liking. Bartenders are always on point the waitresses could use some work

Made a reservation for 15 and I felt horrible for the waitress because she had our two tables and others across the room… Not fair and our service sacrificed because of it. Our two tables usually tip high and because of the service tonight we just couldn’t. If you have large parties rsvp multiple days before please PLEASE schedule servers accordingly to provide for large parties… Sucks to wait 30 – 45 minutes for a drink

If you like a bunch of old people over priced food this is your bar! Also I guess your not allowed to listen in to a police convention when they have one there! the whole back room was full of cop’s which I love going to bars with 200 police officers hanging out in a back room! Lol

I miss the old Hoffbrau space, but this location is huge and does offer a lot of options. There’s pool and tons of TVs and an almost entirely separate bar in the very back. It’s a pretty easy/convenient place to meet and the food selection is pretty good. The Cuban sandwich was decent, though I would have preferred it more crisp/panini style. The guy had the Reuben and said it was passable. Overall an okay spot for a brew and some food.

Monday nights or any other night, mainly to have a beer, meet people, play some pool. Food is good; over priced for the amount you get. I Don’t go for the band’s or thursday/saturday nights but it seems to draw a crowd from time to time. Customer service does really well. I’ve seen where it can get out of hand, but the staff take care of business and everyone is there to enjoy their time and the staff achieves that goal. Pros: happy hour pricing, free pool after 8 on Mondays(pool in general is great here), have the occasional crowds on a monday night or Tuesday night. Cons: food is over priced for what you’ll end up receiving.

Hoffbrau at one time was a fun place to go with excellent food but those days are l-o-n-g gone. There is a dress code that only applies to non friends of the management, as told by management. If questioned, management will happily accuse you of touching the staff and have their bouncer throw you to the ground. This is all to the amusement of the«friend» who was also wearing a tank top but was not required to wear a coat. This place and their management are the epitamy of poor business ethics. Hopefully their«friends» are enough to keep them in business.

The food was a great disappointed. Well prepared but no flavor and too much for what we had. Price would have been right for good food. Service was good, but it was a slow afternoon. Two customers same opinion same rating.

So very disappointed. I came to see a particular band play and excited to try out the new place. The place is huge and the stage set up is fantastic. I was a little concerned to see two staggering drunks walking around with black x’s on their hands. My friend purchased 3 beers and set them on the table. My friends went to dance as i watched the beers. Drunk X guy stole one of the beers and then cursed at me when i looked at him. I couldn’t find a server anywhere and went back to the bar to simply let them know that someone who is cut off had acquired another drink. She snarled at me and said she was aware and rushed off. I then asked a guy behind the bar if he was aware. He held his finger in my face to tell me to wait while he poured Jaeger and did a shot with two other employees. I returned to my seat only to watch drunk X girl vomit on the floor while the drunk X guy felt her up. I again found staff and was told again that they were aware. I told her about the vomit and the girl rushed off to tend to the situation. The beer was finally removed from drunk guy and they were asked to leave. Probably won’t be back. I suggest that the staff learn more about liability.

Certain things I don’t like about this place but it’s a local watering hole for me. The service is sufficient could be better. The reason for 55 big screen TV’s is beyond me since they have no sports awareness once so ever. But hey I could just stay home. The food isn’t to my liking but it’s bar food. The owner does seem to give a shit. Which is nice to see. I wasn’t sure that was the case by all my experiences in the new location. I didn’t go as far to call the staff ugly. I just remember the staff being a lot prettier at the old location. That is the least of my worries. I take good service over looks. Any day. Thanks for your response Ken. Happy to see how much you care and I won’t say anything negative to patrons you would like to check you out. Good luck.

Rockin’ sports bar and music venue in the ‘burbs. Our party of 6 shared a couple orders of fried pickles and potato skins, which were quickly devoured. For dinner, our orders ran the gamut of simple burgers to Chicken Fried Steak to prime rib. Everyone cleaned their plates, which is always a good sign. I would not call it gourmet, but it was pretty good for bar food. Prices for the entrees seemed fairly reasonable as well. By the time we finished dinner, the live music started, which always makes things fun. Service was OK for the most part, but a tad inconsistent. Probably because our waitress had a ton of tables and very needy/demanding customers at the table next to us.

The rating should actually be 3.5 stars. The bf and I wanted to try the opening of Hoffbrau at the new location. The establishment is large and bright with tons of space. Even cooler is the back of the bar with a pretty awesome display of a stage with all the hoopla for a live band! I ordered the Moscow mule, which was pretty decent and cheap($ 5.25). I was hankering for some soup and decided to try the bowl of chili($ 4.99) which was just ok, kinda bland. My boyfriend had a side of feta cheese he did not care for in his gyro, so I used the feta for my chili and it made all the difference. I would have liked my chili hotter rather than slightly warmed. The bf thought his gyro($ 9.98) was ok, the meat was too thinly sliced and the amount of onion rings as a side was skimpy — I could count at least 5 pieces. I would have opted for the fries instead. Service was prompt and at par. The background music was really loud, making for unpleasant conversation. Overall, a cool place to hang out and grab a drink I’d say. The food didn’t blow me away but if you can’t resist bar food then by all means have at it. Next time I’ll scope the scene for the live band and more drinks for me.

Not bad. Typical bar food with better choices of entrees. I liked the variety. My salmon was good but my baked potato was cold. :(but I just asked to heat it up in the microwave… didn’t want to waste another potato. But the waitress gave me extra cheese and bacon! :) Overall because it was a Monday night, it was slow and quiet. Perfect to watch the game with my boyfriend; who brought me because he enjoyed the place from their old location. Great place for game and food. Not sure about drinks. But next time, I’ll try it out.
